My family took the private tour of Phillip Island and had an amazing day. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about Melbourne, the Moonlight Sanctuary and Phillip Island. He had many interesting stories about all the places we visited and was super accommodating. Our guide for the day, Fred G., had so much energy and engaging with describing the sites and experiences of the tour. No matter how much you read or have it explained to you, the Penguin Parade is an amazing event to watch and experience.

It was an amazing trip and definitely worth to go!! It including feeding kangaroos, koala talking, wallabies and also seeing penguins. Even general viewing, you can find the good way to see the penguins. Also the guide tour was nice and has the patience.

This was a great tour with a friendly knowledgeable guide, comfortable minibus, a stop at a nature sanctuary half way to Philip Island, a guided drive around the island, stop for dinner (on your own) and then the penguin viewing which was quite the experience on its own.

Had a great time. Visited a sanctuary where we saw koalas & wallabies. Visited gorgeous coastal area & after dinner went on to penguin parade. Josh, our guide and driver was on time, polite and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Our tour was awesome! Our guide, Josh, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Of course, the penguin parade was the highlight! Josh told us exactly where to stand for the best view. The penguins waddled directly beneath our area on the boardwalk! FYI it was VERY windy so dress warm for the parade. Enjoy!

This was a good tour although long. Might of enjoyed just going to Phillips Island and spending more time there. Also, Viator did not give us the option of preferred viewing which would have been much nicer. The penguins themselves were great fun to see and hear.

Had an amazing day with Fred showing us around the great ocean road, so many funny and intriguing stories and just a fab day! Couldn't recommend enough!

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon and evening. Our guide Fred made our what would have been long ride super fun, entertaining, and informative. He not only had interesting stories but was very engaging as well. He knew the small ways to maximize our experience. Also, Moonlit Sanctuary and the Penguin experience were everything we hoped for. Close views of many animals and experiences we never would have gotten otherwise. The upgrade for Penguin Plus was well worth it.

We did the city tour and Great Ocean Road tours with Fred who was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and passionate about Melbourne and the surrounding areas. Incredible story teller, hopefully one from us can make his book! That would be cool, “HUH”?! (Inside joke)

Had a wonderful time. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The penguins were amazing! I would definitely recommend this experience.

Phillip Island was amazing. Kevin, our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and funny. Pointed out interesting things to look for on our journey. We stopped at various beaches on the way with the most gorgeous coastal views. The highlight was seeing the little penguins come out at dusk. A very memorable experience. I highly recommend

This was a long day, but generally worth it; albeit expensive! The absolute highlight was the tour guide, Lewi🤗 His natural charm, knowledge and understanding of what we all needed, was excellent. In terms of recommendations, please consider adding more stops at places of interest; updating minibus and equipment (including microphone), and hiring staff like Lewi (and Sam, who did the initial 'pick-up', and was courteous and helpful).

We did the half day penguin tour with Travis on our arrival day, last week. It was an amazing day in which Travis made sure that everyone had a wonderful experience. He was so well versed on every animal and how they would react at the sanctuary. We had a great time interacting with the animals. His tips for the penguin viewing were spot on and we got some great up close encounters. He even went so far as to drive us back to our hotel as he didn’t want us wandering around a strange city at midnight. What service! We could not have asked for anything more!

No idea how this company has this many good reviews. I guess they had different experiences that we did. The ride was rough and uncomfortable. The driver was an ok driver but horrible guide. At one point we were trying to find out if there was a way NOT to have to drive back to Melbourne from Phillip Island with this person. I would generally recommend a tour to see the penguins, i would not go with this company again.
