        wonderful experience.
6 of us visited Melbourne for a week with the express intention of dining out on the Tramcar Restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Food, wine, and service exceptional whilst we travelled to St. Kilda and back.

        Great food, novel experience
You must try this at least once. I thought I might get travel sick, but the wine balances this out. Good quality food, with a Melbourne tour, cheers to a unique experience. Highly recommend, especially for overseas visitors.

        Steak was awesome
We had a early dinner, it was very close to next table, but we were on a tram, so can't complain much. We were too busy to enjoy the dinner, forgot to enjoy the view, maybe next time I should book the late dinner which is longer time to enjoy the view as well

        Why would you?
An expensive gimmick aimed at the tourists. Noisy, rattling old tram cars serve as restaurants serving average but expensive food.

Good for people new to melbourne
We went there when we had just arrived in Melb and in winter. It’s an interesting experience with great food. Would not do it twice. It was fun and ok for couples and 4 people at a table.

        Was great, now defunct.
I was very disappointed to have my payment returned and to be informed the tram is no longer running. Last time I took someone for dinner it was really very good.

Fantastic experience and well worth the money. I attended the evening dinner, I believe it was around 5/6pm and the service, the food and the colonial experience was worth it. Stepping onto the tramcar felt like stepping back in time, and the server was very attentive and informative about the city and how the evening would work. The chef came out to talk about the food and what they were cooking and how they were making it. Fine food and fine wine.

No longer in service, but lets us "keep the faith" and the wranglings betwen parties can amicable reconcile there differences and see this "icon" back in service.
It truely is not just for Victorians,Australians a wonderful experience to dine and ride the Tramcare Restaurant. Tourist to "marvellous melbourne" are drawn to its uniquiness and they are provided with trips on our Tram network that provides a wonderful example of the architectural structures different and suburbs that make up the City of Melbourne. The "W" class trams are historical and part of the heritage and history of the developement of Melbourne and to see them operating, built in Melbourne, 1932-1956, the last batch, produced for the Olympic Games in Melbourne 1956, they deserve our support and appreciation and should not be intangled in the situation that sees them, in probablity becoming a stationary item of transport history of Victoria.
