Excellent evening with changing scenery, plenty of drinks, delicious food and attentive wait staff. We were lucky that we had perfect weather also. We booked only a few days earlier (once we knew the weather). Seats were locked in and we had been loctaed a table upstairs. We all had plenty of time to move around the boat to take photos, enjoy the views, chat to fellow passengers and wave to others on the river banks or in passing boats. There was a relaxed but celebratory vibe the whole night and although the staff worked hard, they were happy to chat too. We were told to arrive 20 mins early but 5-10 mins was ample. Nobody needed to sight our tickets (but we'd been asked to bring them). Tea and coffee didn't seem to arrive upstairs, but we were happy to sit on our wines/spirits and desserts (while delicious) were different from what was described. We received two large ones on one platter rather than several small ones. Be aware that you need to organise which entree (of two choices) and which main meal (of several good choices) a few days before the event.

Opportunity to get a perspective of Melbourne from the river. Interesting scenery. And glad we did the tour. Most of the narration is done via a recording and it’s rather impersonal though. The dock is right downtown and easy to find. Check-in is somewhat chaotic. The boat doesn’t have a scanner to read your electronic ticket so you have to wait in line with others buying tickets and get a paper ticket. Because some of the bridges are super low, the he boat ceiling is too. Watch yourself if you are tall; my husband hit his head twice.

Fabulous afternoon on the water. Great food and drinks. Wonderful friendly happy staff. Would definitely recommend. And love to go again

We booked the two hour tour. The captain and crew were great. I love taking a river or lake cruise whenever possible. This one needs some help on its focus. The river itself is a little boring but if they would include a discussion of the architecture and art we see along the way that would make it more interesting. The the commentary was prerecorded no chance to ask questions and at times difficult to hear over the kids and people chatting.

We didn't feel like there was really that much to see. Sure it was nice being on the water but we were looking for a little more. We sat outside on the back of the boat and it was difficult to hear the audio recording. It was a 2 hour cruise and we opted to get off the boat at the halfway point. It just wasn't for us.

Great food, great service, a very relaxing evening spent seeing some of the city. The cruise was sold out and at full capacity we still had plenty of room.

Friendly staff, the best way to view the growing stature of Melbourne. It was fun only just scraping under the low bridges!!!

The service was outstanding and the drinks were free-flow. The staff were always looking to ensure that your glass was never empty. The food was very nice and most people would be full at the end of the meal. The trip up the river was mildly interesting and, while it was great to see the lights of Melbourne when you get back to the starting point, I am not sure it is value for money. I would not do it again.

Very nice trip and a nice way to get to see the city. We did the two hour tour which is upstream and downstream. I would recommend just going upstream.

We had a fantastic experience. From start to finish, it was just spectacular. Food and staff were amazing. Would recommend to anyone for a great night out in Melbourne 😍

The boat was very nice, & it was fun to be on the water. We were told that it was a 2 hour tour, and we were dropped off after an hour. When we asked about it, we were told to come back in a half hour for the other hour trip. We would have preferred to have the same boat, and seats, for the whole 2 hours.

We did the NYE | Party Cruise - Over 40's Dec 31st 2024. We paid extra for the Adult Platinum Package $335.00 Per Person. First of all we queued for ages at one berth, only to be told it was a different berth for platinum - so then we queued up again..The boat & people were fun - but WOW such a waste of money food wise and drinks. The food was atrocious - cold unappealing, nibbles few and far between. The spirits - were negligible . Look the boat was fun, but as for paying $335 each for rubbish lack of food, and only sparking wine, so disappointed. 'IF' you're really wanting to do this - DON'T pay for platinum and secondly, seriously think if it's even worth your money at all.

Went on the cruise with my husband and parents, who were visiting from Scotland. It was absolutely fantastic, definitely 5/5 Food was delicious and the drinks were always flowing.

Disappointing Experience with Rude Staff I regret to say that our experience on this boat was far from enjoyable. The staff were shockingly rude, displaying a complete lack of courtesy throughout the trip. Their attitude toward children was particularly appalling, treating them with clear contempt, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable for families. Adding to the frustration, the boat left significantly later than scheduled, with no explanation or apology provided. This lack of professionalism and respect for customers’ time only added to the overall disappointment. I would not recommend this experience to anyone, especially families with young children. A serious overhaul in staff training and management is desperately needed.
