Spectacular trip. Whales dolphin albatross seals. Cliffs. Exciting ride! The best adventure you can go in near Port Arthur.

The boat driver was knowledgeable and helpful. The vessel was comfortable yet exciting and the driver took us closer to the dolphins each time he saw them. The girl helping lauckie ( Jo?) was attentive to seat belts and suggestions about photo opportunities. Of course the scenery was as marvellous.

The Tasman Cruise was the absolute highlight of our Tasmanian road trip! It was an unforgettable experience—thrilling, breathtaking, and so much fun. The scenery was surreal, and some of the photos we captured look straight out of a postcard. The staff were incredible—warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do. If you’re visiting Tasmania, this cruise is a must-do—you won’t regret it! 🚤✨

I was not quite lucky with the weather and the tour could not go the full length or into caves. The brochure says that it is a three hour cruise but in fact it is only two hours because the bus transfer from Port Arthur General Store to the Jetty plus boarding takes up one hour. The cliffs are spectacular and I could take some great photos from the speeding boat as I sat in an end-seat in the middle and could take photos sitting down. We saw some seals and dolphins and bird life: cormorants and the rare albatross. If you want to see seals I recommend the Maria Island and Ile de Phoque Cruise though. I would have liked it if the boat had stopped a few times more for the cliffs. The going was at times a bit rough but I liked that - just some more time would have been nice. Nobody got seasick. They gave us Ginger Tablets. The two guides were very funny and gave us excellent information. The toilet on board is highly appreciated. I did get a bit cold towards the end but that was my fault - they tell you to wear warm clothes. Their long red gown is very valuable that you do not get wet on the lower part of your body.

Fabulous 3 hour cruise around the spectacular Tasman Peninsula coast in small but very stable rigid inflatable craft. Crew were attentive and knowledgeable, and the commentary was very informative. Spray jackets provided, but dress warmly, the wind can be very chilly even in summer. We were fortunate to get the whole experience including an almost-complete circuit of Tasman Island - waves and weather may not always allow this. We saw seals and plenty of birdlife, including the rare shy albatross, wonderful experience.

This was definitely one of my fave tours while in Tasmania! We did the arvo tour and we were blessed with lovely weather !To see the ruggedness of that part of the Port Arthur coastline was astounding. Huge craggy cliffs with caves and inlets. The seals and the dolphins put on a swim show for us, the dolphins riding the bow wave never gets boring! A few speedy bits which where met with screams of fun and delight! ( Mostly mine!) The staff were lovely, friendly, amusing and determined to have you get the best out of this tour. I highly recommend to sit at the front if you want a bumpy ride!!!! 😁 Ps the boat floor can get wet at the front take minimum stuff guys you really don't need it

Amazing trip. Well organised and knowledgeable guides. Boat was quite comfortable and we saw loads of seals, birds and natural beauty of the Tasman coastline. Well worth it.

Lily and Josh were a very professional crew, they gave us clear instructions (and even provided very effective motion sickness pills), no one on board was ill. The views were amazing and the skilful management of the boat meant that all passengers had good views. Thoroughly recommended.

This was a thrilling and informative adventure to the coastal wilderness of the southern peninsula. The sheer scale of the cliff faces were amazing, plus the thrill of seeing seals basking on rocks and wild dolphins swimming towards and around us was truly exciting and memorable.

Great trip. Several dolphin and seals. . And a young humpback! Stunning scenery. Crew were knowledgeable. Definitely worth it.

The whole boat trip was well organised, and Lily and Las who were our boat crew were great, cracking jokes but also explaining everything in an easy way to understand. You also didn’t miss anything as they ensured we circled and everyone on the boat got a thorough look. We were lucky and saw dolphins, two types or seals and albatross. Next time I’m back in Hobart wouldn’t hesitate to book a trip again.

We took the tour from Port Arthur. The boat ride was very rough. They do offer everyone ginger tablets but be prepared with your own seasickness tablets as well. The crew was fun and engaging. They took good care of those that were ill onboard. A slicker is provided but be prepared to get wet as the water comes up over the edges of the boat as you go through the waves. The scenery is truly spectacular and we were very lucky to come across a pod of orcas. It was pretty magical. A great trip as long as you are well prepared for the waves.

Spectacular world class scenery. The boat cruise took us down the coastline from Eaglehawk Neck to Cape Pillar and Tasman Island. We saw an abundance of sea life from whales, dolphins, seals, albatross, shearwater, gannets and more. The crew were very informative and took us around the Hippolyte Rock in search of more whales. Highly recommended for nature lovers when visiting Tasmania.

What an incredible day! We were lucky enough to have Jo & Andrew as our deckhands who were brilliant - both energetic and enthusiastic about this stunning part of the world. Their knowledge of not only the area and it’s history but also all of the local wildlife was unparalleled. They continuously checked in with everyone as it was a bit of a rough day on the water and even retrieved another passenger’s runaway beanie from the ocean. We were fortunate enough to see seals, a couple of albatrosses and even a couple of pods of humpback whales! The scenery was absolutely stunning and being able to see Tasman Island as well as the east and west coasts was absolute treat. Highly recommend!
