      Excellent aged person assistance
Great help with an aged parent who has mobility issues. Wheelchair and staff member supplied. Took Mum all the way out of the ferry to the car.

      Great way to see KI
This was a very well organized tour. We saw so much over the two days. The raptor show was fantastic. I really liked the opportunity to hold a koala! The staff is well informed and friendly. The food offerings were good too. I highly recommend it.

Relaxing place to visit with so many beautiful spots
Ferry was well organised. Scenery was beautiful. So many good places to see. Glamping tents were a great experience. Many photos taken to remember our great trip.

      Day Trip to Kangaroo Island
Our day trip to Kangaroo Island was fantastic! Well-coordinated from start to finish, a long day of traveling between bus and ferry was made easy. Garry was our guide on the island and he was great – engaging, informative, and funny, we enjoyed what he had to share with us and found the day informative, interesting, and wonderful – complete with incredible scenery, wildlife sitings and petting, and even a delicious lunch! He made our experience wonderful and memorable!

      Bucket List - Kangaroo Island.
Excellent company, staff were very friendly, nothing too much, food was great, tour was well organised. Everywhere we went we were greeted by knowledgeable staff and friendly dogs. Even though the day we went was very warm we were not kept waiting in the sun. Ensure to put Kangaroo Island on your bucket list and give this tour a go.

Kangaroo Island - A Must Do
Our fabulous two-day tour showcased the diversity of Kangaroo Island. A wonderful destination for Australians as well as our overseas tourists, to see our wildlife in this pristine environment, as well as enjoying the professional family-run businesses. I recommend this holiday destination - wish I'd taken more days to discover its beauty.

      Amazing Experience
It's a fun tour to do if you have limited time in Adelaide. You get to see the best tourist attractions at Kangaroo Island. We got to see the seals, kangaroos, and koalas up close. We got to pet the koala as well! The downside of this tour is that it is long and you spend most of your time sitting on the bus. The tour guide does give out the history of the surrounding areas so it was bearable or spend your time napping in the bus while getting to the next location haha. I would visit kangaroo island next time due to the amazing landscape and on my own time as well.

A must to learn about climate and wildlife
It was a very long day but worth it. We met the Sealink bus in Adelaide at 0620 for the 2 hour drive to Cape Jervis to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island. The Sealink staff from reservations, our driver to the ferry and our island driver were all well informed and you could tell they are very knowledgeable and proud of their country and work. A must do trip!

      Okay but wouldn't rebook
I wouldn't say it was terrible, but for the price and the promises made, I was definitely disappointed. I have a milk allergy, so I asked multiple times—well in advance—if there would be safe food options for me or if I should bring my own. I don’t mind bringing my own food, but the booking agent insisted that they regularly accommodate food allergies and that plenty of dairy-free options would be available. However, on the day of the trip, several snack stops were made where others received treats like brownies and ice cream, but nothing was provided for me. (Even just an apple would have made me happy) Lunch was somewhat better, but I still had to repeatedly ask about ingredients, as some items contained milk and no one seemed to have checked. In the end, I managed, but it was stressful. An allergic reaction, especially on an isolated island, isn't just a short-term inconvenience—it affects my health for weeks. The trip itself was okay, but the driver had a very negative attitude. He spent a lot of time talking about all the bad things that had happened on the island and how everything had gone downhill, which wasn’t exactly the uplifting experience I was hoping for. There were also some logistical mix-ups, including people being placed on the wrong buses. As for the itinerary, I was disappointed that we spent most of the time indoors at stops that felt more like shopping opportunities than actual sightseeing. It wasn’t until the end of the day that we finally got to properly enjoy the island’s views. Overall, it was fine, but for the price, I expected a much better experience.

      Early morning departure from Adelaide
Took the bus from Adelaide bus station. Not many people were around to tell us where to go to find the bus, but luckily we were able to make it. From there, everything went smoothly.

      Good Experience
The Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island was easy to book online. The check-in process was quick and easy. We did a self drive holiday and the loading of car on and off the ferry was well organised. Thankfully we crossed and returned on smooth sailing days. All in all the whole ferry experience was a good one.

Kangaroo Island for an amazing adventure back to nature
Loved the Island. Honey farm, wool, Flinders Park, seal pool, Admirals Arch, Sea Lions, Wild life park, raptors. Roads were good, but sad to see the roadkill, maybe a lower speed limit.

      Great visit to Kangaroo Island
The Sealink ferry experience was spot on. Professional loading of our motorhome and a comfortable trip. We travelled with our dog so didn’t have use of all the ferry but there was a great, comfortable area for travellers with pets.

Our driver Jo made this trip very special, she was fun and informative. We enjoyed the day very much. Not sure I would go again, as I would prefer to see scenery rather than visit the other places on the sip and see tour. However we are glad we went. Highlight was the interaction at the Raptor experience

Was a very informative and convenient way to see a fair bit of the island in one day. Scott, our tour guide was very personable and knew his information. The raptors show was fantastic.
The only downside to this tour was there was plenty of colonial perspectives but no First Nations information.

Hi Aggie01, Thank you so much for your feedback, we truly appreciate it. We're glad that you enjoyed our Kangaroo Island day tour. As for the history side of it, when the island was first discovered in the early 1800s, there was no evidence of inhabitants until a bit later in the 1900s. There's little to no information out there on why the island was deserted, hence the lack of information provided on our tours about First Nations. Hope this answer your question. Kind Regards, The SeaLink Marine & Tourism Team

We stayed at Kingscote and were collected at our hotel and driven to a meeting point to join fellow passengers on this day trip. This was the second day trip we did on Kangaroo Island with our friendly informative guide/driver Adam. The birds of prey presentation was great. We then enjoyed a guided tour of the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery followed by a delicious lunch there. Then it was off to Cliffords Honey farm for an informative talk on the process of honey and bees and a sample of the Drunken Drone Brewery Wheat Ale and the purchase of delicious honey icecream. Final stop for the day was False Cape Winery. This beautiful setting was the perfect spot for some win tasting followed by wine orders to be shipped back to Brisbane. Highly recommend this trip.
