Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
With over 23 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself.

Nice wineries, but a little disappointing
Lovely group, great wineries. Driver was knowledgable but very opinionated and took over any conversations we were having. Also would have been nice to be able to stop and see the scenery/take pictures. Lunch ok but salad was disappointing.

Guttered by the lack of people skills.
Almost didn’t book this tour because one of my friends wasn’t happy with some of the other reviews. They had real concerns about treatment of people on the tours from some of the reviews. I unfortunately said “but Gerry had great reviews” but Paul seems to have a fewer reviews which suggests some issues an an inability to take on board customers feedback. Anyway we booked and we got Paul. The trip and places visited were fine. However when your running a tour and your the tour leader you need to keep in mind your job is to make people feel valued and respected and make sure you are clearly communicating continuously. But most of all you should never make someone feel unwanted or embarrassed. Due to respect for everyone on this tour and for privacy I won’t go into the details as it’s not required. But what I will say is Paul you unfortunately made it very uncomfortable for a number of your guest to feel they were treated respectfully. I hope you never find yourself in the same situation one day, because I would not wish on you or anyone one else the humiliation and disrespect felt by your guest onboard with you that day. Please don’t respond by saying you can’t address the issue without the details. I suggest you do some deep reflection if that is how you feel, because any body on that day would never forget how you made them feel and at some level you must have be aware but choose to ignore it due to your inability to respond appropriately and lack of skills. In fact the other tour members were more considerate and respectful of the situation than you were Paul. Thank you to all the others on tour if you are reading this review. It helped a lot and made everything less traumatic on the day. Paul for constructive feedback to take on board if your prepared to grow and become a better tour operator and human, as you do struggle adjusting your approach to different situations due to a lack emotional intelligence or skills in this area. I would highly recommend : That you get some serious training in this area else you’ll will continue to receive little to poor reviews in the future. Alternatively don’t put yourself up front with people because you will continue to offend others, because you have no filter. With hand on heart if you plan to do this tour ask for a different driver else learn to roll with all the inappropriate punches and don’t expect much compassion in a tuff situation.

Great day and tour was sufficient.
A great small group experience. Purchased some delicious fresh cherries from the farm. Lunch and wineries were great.

Great day out amongst the vines.
We had a wonderful day. Our driver was very informative and made the tour very special. The winery visits were great and despite having been to the Barossa before, it was a whole new experience for us. Highly recommended.

          Day out
Carol and I had the best day, we where the only ones on the tour so it was a very personalised tour. Paul the owner/operator was an awesome host with great commentary and local knowledge which he shared with us. We enjoyed his sense of humour greatly. Highly recommend booking a tour with Paul. Thank you from the senior Queenslanders

          Horrible tour
DO NOT book with this company!! Paul is arrogant, racist & judgemental not only of guests on his trip but members of public. His driving was unsafe & aggressive including rude gestures to a metro bus driver and verbal abuse of a traffic controller who had blocked entry to a road that Paul later remembered he knew was going to be closed. Jokes were inappropriate, misogynistic and condescending towards women. See reviews about Paul from his previous company Bums on Seats on TripAdvisor. We didn’t know how bad his reviews were until after our trip.

          Our Tours in South Australia!
We actually went on 2 tours with Paul! The first to Hahndorf and the second to Victor Harbour! Both times we were picked up on time and delivered to the door! Paul is a great driver and we felt in very safe hands! We were lucky enough to be the only couple on the trip to Victor Harbour and Paul went out of his way to make sure we saw and did everything we wanted to do! Thanks for a Fabulous couple of days Paul! Highly Recommend!

          Excellent day
This was a great trip to sample the area, excellent winery’s plus Maggie’s place and a chocolate factory. Pick up and drop off from our hotel, our guide was the best.

          Fun day in the Barossa.
A great day out. Saw small family run wineries rather than the big commercial companies where you can buy their wine most places. Gerry our driver was excellent. Great sense of humour, very chatty. ‘Dad jokes’ aplenty. Gerry is branching out with her own bus tour and will be called All About Adelaide tours. Highly recommend Gerry when she gets her own business up and running.

Prompt Reliable Transport service with Friendly and Safe driver
We used Bostours services to transport us (a group of 10) from Adelaide to Mannum return to our Houseboat Holiday. Our driver was early on both legs of our journey. He was extremely friendly and provided a very safe, comfortable drive. Our transport including shopping time along the way. The recommendations for the shopping were perfect and went off without a hitch. Excellent service from Bos!

          BUS TRIP
The visit to Hahndorf was excellent. The information was fantastic. The Fish and chips were nice and Victor Harbour was excellent.. The staff at the takeaway shop were rude.. McLaren Vale was a waste of time. A very boring trip on the way back to Adelaide as Peter did t talk to the group. We missed Paul. Also needed a microphone when he did speak as being at the back of the bus hard to hear. Thanks . Cheryl Wiles

A highlight of our trip to Adelaide.
We had an amazing day with our tour guide/bus driver Gerry. Her knowledge and passion for the region was a highlight. We visited three wineries, the chocolate shop and Maggie Beers Farm, with lunch included at one of the wineries. Would highly recommend if travelling with a group of friends and wanting a well organised day in the wine region.

Great mixture of wine tasting and sightseeing
Great tour. The day was a super mixture of wine tasting but also for us importantly seeing more of the Barossa Valley. Paul provided good information about the history of the area and how the area has developed into the famous wine growing region. We also visited Hahndorf with its history of German settlers. This was interesting. Paul found kangaroos for us to see really quite closely. We also visited a valley view point, a chocolate making factory and Maggie Beer’s farm shop. The three wine tastings were excellent with the last one being a novel one with a variety of meads to try. The lunch was good and we felt we got a great experience in the Barossa Valley.

Absolutely loved this half day tour. Geri was our guide and we were the only two passengers so, in effect, had a private tour. Geri took us around some of the Adelaide city sights before driving us up to Mount Lofty providing us with loads of information. Very interesting to hear about the history of Hahndorf before arriving there and then having places of interest pointed out to us before having free time to explore on our own. Hahndorf is beautiful. On the way back Geri again provided us with more information about the local area. Would totally recommend the outing.
