Wonderful day exploring the Barossa Valley and Hahndorf
Visiting the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf on a day trip with Roy is not to be missed! Roy was a fantastic driver/guide and absolutely hilarious! A really, really nice guy who clearly loves his role, he made sure our day was full of fun. I especially appreciated how flexible he was in adjusting the timings and visits to suit those of us on the tour. Lunch at the German Spoon in Hahndorf was included and was excellent. Not the usual institutional style catering that is often provided on organized tours! This was a quality restaurant with fresh, well cooked food and we could choose from an extensive menu. This is something that sets CP Tours apart from others. If you book a tour, cross your fingers that you'll get Roy! You won't be disappointed. He's the best!

          Excellent Barossa Valley tour
We had a private tour of five attractive vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Symone, our guide/driver was excellent, and had put together a great tour including a good lunch at the Lambert Estate. We really appreciated the time taken by the cellar hosts in sharing their love of the wine they produced.

CP Tours does a great job!
McLaren Vale is not to be missed if you like wine and are visiting Adelaide! The tour was purposeful but leisurely. We did three tours with CP while in Adelaide-- a worthy, competent tour operator!

Adelaide wine tour -- good experience
Tour operator is just fine! We did 3 tours with CP tours. Excellent service, good selection of wineries and restaurant. Adelaide Hills is beautiful -- the wines need development. We thought that "marketing" the wines was the paramount value of the region, not the wine quality. McLaren and Barossa had much better wine.

          Great day out
We had a great day with Roy who was very entertaining and informative. We managed to see all the sites before the crowds on a busy day. A very relaxing river cruise. Great views of Adelaide and its surrounds.

Excellent tour and a great driver with Roy. Nothing to fault and would use again. Everything went smoothly from pick-up at our hotel on time and delivery back there after tour

          Relaxing & scenic
This was a lovely little day out with scenic views, birdlife, good food and the tour size was perfect. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly and welcoming. The river cruise was very relaxing and one of us may have nodded off inbetween meals haha

          River Cruise
We were collected from our hotel and taken on a few short stops before lunch. We had expected a little more touring around, but the lunch cruise took up the majority of the day. The river scenery was interesting, but could have been viewed in half the time. Lunch was ok, but mine did not arrive until the rest on my table's plates were cleared and I asked after it. I then ate by myself. No apology was issued - very disappointing! The afternoon was quite nice. It would have been better named Murray River cruise with lunch - very little of the Adelaide Hills. If you have a week or so this tour might suit, otherwise try one with additional activities and stops.

          ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
We were picked up by Symone at the Cruise Terminal in a lovely clean 6 seater van. We were the only pick ups from the cruise so, felt like celebrities in our own vehicle. Symone was a wonderful driver and quite knowledgeable about the history and localities. We enjoyed a stop at Mt Lofty Lookout. We didn't go up the freeway, Symone took us up the old windy road and we found this very picturesque. On to an Stopped at an Old Flour Mill and the Beerenberg Jam/condiment factory. The Captain Proud Paddle Boat was a very peaceful ride up and down the Murray River from Murray Bridge. The commentary from the Captain was very interesting and informative. Most of all the staff were very friendly and the lunch was very good. Simple Counter Lunch style with choices to suit all tastes and delicious. The apple crumble is a must have for dessert. We had to be back to the ship by a certain time so, our tour was cut short a little, in case the motorway became congested. We were quite happy with this as we didn't want to be left behind. Symone suggested she take us through the city on the way back to the Port and she explained all the building etc on the way.

          Wonderful experiences with CP Tours
Took two tours with CP . One to Barossa/ Hahndorf , the other to Victor Harbor . Both drivers , Roy and Alan are great . Plenty of jokes from Roy and lots of information about Adelaide from Alan. I like that the pick up arrangements are so clear and punctual . This is the only tour that allows pick up from my apartment , which makes the extra bucks paid very worthwhile. The vans are super clean , equipped with cooler boxes for the chocolates we bought and umbrellas for each of us in the sudden wet weather. The groups are small, so lots of flexibility for last minute additions or changes to itinerary., we actually rented a car for our 9 days stay , but slotting CP tour in is such a great choice , as Barossa and Route to Victor Harbor , both did not seem to be a very easy drive I highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to enjoy their wine tasting without having to worry about driving , or just to hv a day break from handling the unknown routes . Thanks to Cp for such great experience!

Small group it was - just the 2 of us so we were able to get the driver to personalise the afternoon with a visit to a winery not on the list (Henschke) that we particularly wanted to visit.
Chateau Yaldara was Good start to the day with a knowledgeable presenter and good and interesting wines.
Kies was a bit of a disappointment, the presenter did not have much knowledge (not a problem for most people but we’re wine geeks so like to ask detailed questions) . The range was limited and the wine we particularly wanted to taste: a white Shiraz, was sold out. The lunch however was good with nice views out over the vines.
Our afternoon at Henschke was excellent.

Our guide Alan was both knowledgeable and amusing. Pointed out everything of interest on our journey to and throughout the Barossa Valley. The 4 wineries we visited were all of a high standard and our lunch was excellent as was the complimentary wine that went with it.
        Would highly recommend this tour.

We were on the Barosa wine tour today.

We especially liked the last two, Rusden and Ubertas. Their wine was good.

Lunch at Kies was delicious. The tasting room owner delighted us with family stories.

Chateau Yaldara was a beautiful building.
