- juliamC5438FM0 contributions80 yr olds dream come trueThank you Braiden for a very well guided roof climb. I felt very secure with harness etc. I did the climb for my 80th birthday. Although it was a very hot evening, it was a fabulous experience and the Strikers won.Written 8 January 2024
- 540lizh0 contributionsFantastic ExperienceMy husband (67) had a knee replacement 10 weeks ago & wasn’t sure whether he’d manage the climb. He did it with his brother-in-law (67) & nephews (37 & 33) & thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn’t as difficult as he expected, and extremely safely & well managed, from start to finish. He’d highly recommend it.Written 27 January 2020
- SebsReise0 contributionsWhat a great adventure!Had a funtastic day on the Oval in Adelaide. It takes some time to get ready (dressing with overall ans security instructions) but definitely worth it. You're not allowed to take any camera or mobil on the roof but you get your pictures right at the end of the climb. Great view over the oval and the city. We walked on the roof while a cricket game was on... spectacular!Written 12 November 2019

- Jason R0 contributionsAwesome, must do experience. This is a simple review. Do it. For as low as $99 for a 2 hour experience, climb certificate, free group photo and cap this is the best attraction currently on offer in SA. Very well organised, easy to book, informative with great staff ( Brad was our guide). I encourage you to take the opportunity to take the 'lean out challenge' at the top of the South End stand, feel the freedom.Written 20 August 2017
- Wizard18630 contributionsAmazing ExperienceDid climb on Friday 7th July during Crows game. Fabulous experience from wo to go. Professionally run and the "climbing" guide was excellent. Would suggest doing during a game as I felt with 40,000 odd people there and watching a quarter high up on the stadium added to the experience. One word of warning if it is raining the walkway can be very slippery.Overall9/10Written 9 July 2017
- thecubhole0 contributionsGREAT VIEWI was a little hesitant to put my hand up as I don't class myself as a fit person, the climb leader puts you at ease. there are a lot of steps but spaced with walkways to give your calfs a rest.If your not able then more likely they will recommend the ground level tour which is also good for viewsWritten 13 May 2017
- Mark_Robyn0 contributionsHighly recommendedDid the climb during the Aust V Sri Lanka T20 game. The whole thing was great, but to watch 1/2 HR of the game from the roof of the Riverbank stand was amazing. Not a spectacular sunset that night, but if you are lucky enough to get one of Adelaide's good ones, it would be even better. A must do for both locals like me and visitors.Written 11 April 2017

We went on a night climb and arrived a bit early. The staff were very accommodating and assisted us with filling in the appropriate paperwork prior to choosing our celebratory drink for after we finished the climb. The preparation for the climb was pretty good, although we found our guide talked so fast that most of the guests seemed to be looking around quite perplexed as to what we should be doing, so the experience was a little stressful in this regard. The same goes for the actual climb. Although it was well orchestrated and very enjoyable, we really found the guide's commentary very hard to understand (again he spoke too fast and didn't enunciate). Similar experiences in other cities charge you extra for photos etc, but this group does not which makes the whole experience great value for money. We would recommend the climb to anyone, whether they be locals or visitors, as it gives you an amazing view of the city and an even better one of the oval itself. It would certainly be an interesting experience to sit on one of those chairs to watch the footy one night, but that will have to be another time.

It was a beautiful and special experience on the roof of the oval. Since I booked an evening tour, I was also able to watch the sunset, which made it even more special.
In my opinion, however, there is clearly a star deduction: if you book this activity, you should be aware that although a group and an individual photo are included, you cannot take one yourself, i.e. if you take several additional photos If you want to have it as a souvenir, it costs extra - up to 50% of the activity price if you choose the option "all your own photos", which I find a bit overpriced, especially since they are all (fortunately) offered as a download.

There are lots of roof climbs around these days, but this was special. Small group of 9, very informative guide Riley who gave us loads of interesting facts about the stadium, and about the development of Adelaide as a city. As a bonus, there was a local league final being played, so we got to watch that from the top
Of the stand, 50m up.
Very good tour - fun and informative

The climb was ok. I wouldn't really recommend it unfortunately as I found it quite boring. The staff were friendly. Some of the views were great, and being on the platform above the oval looked pretty cool. But it was too long and drawn out. Obviously you can't take your own camera (for safety) but then we spent WAY too long taking photos- when they hadn't actually explained if these were included or would cost more. (Of course they cost more) For our large group of 14 participants there was a lot of waiting around, even though everyone in our group seemed quite confident with the climb. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if it was hurried up- simple things, like when coming off the safety rail- have the participants undo each others back straps so the guide does not have to undo 14 back straps, after removing us from the rail.

An absolute “Must Do” attraction in Adelaide. To have the option to see this beautiful city on a sunset climb, from such an iconic landmark was an experience not to forget. The tour guide was wonderful & his commentary was informative & full of information & history I never knew. Totally recommend

Our climb was fantastic. A very small group of 4 of us were expertly led across the roof by Mitch, our guide. He provided not only information about the Adelaide Oval, its history and many changes/upgrades over the years, but also Adelaide landmarks.

I went with my 12 year old son for this experience and we loved it! It is a highly organised, highly professional experience and the views over Adelaide were amazing. Can't speak highly enough about the staff (thanks Brad!) You don't have to be amazingly fit, largly the walk can be taken at your own pace. They cater for all body sizes large and small. All the climbing equipment makes you feel very safe and secure. No cameras can be taken on the walk and photos can be purchased after the walk for $16 each.

I did an evening roof climb which was a fun experience. Lizzo was performing a gig just over the road so I was kind of gutted to have to miss that but at least I got to hear some of it before I headed in. The briefing was good, the staff were fun and professional. The roof climb was slow and steady, not exactly the same thrill as Sydney Harbour Bridge but still a fun thing to do and gave me some views of the city which is why I did it. We had a friendly group and the guide was great. You don't go the whole way round though, just about one third of the stadium. I can't remember how much I paid for the experience but I think I was a little underwhelmed afterwards. Would probably mean more if I was into a sport played there.

First of all a big shout out to Lucy and Spenser for their professionalism and ability to engage with clients. I was given a voucher for a rooftop climb for my birthday. My husband and I booked in to the 5pm climb. The weather wasn’t the greatest - raining, windy, cold etc. We were provided with safety gear, overalls and a briefing etc. We also had a choice of cap or beanie which you get to keep. Love those beanies! Lucy also provided us with rain jackets - which came in very handy. The climb was great fun. Spenser kept us entertained with lots of fun facts about the oval and stadium and the surrounding buildings. He ensured that we were comfortable with every stage of the climb and took a lot of photos. I highly recommend doing the ‘lean out’ on the platform. In fact, I highly recommend the whole experience, especially if a footy game was on at the time. Thanks again Spenser and Lucy.
