Big tour group but interesting day
Not the tour I chose but that was cancelled at short notice so I had no choice. The group was much bigger than I would have liked. We had a friendly and informative tour at Jacob’s Creek which was rushed at the end as we had a schedule to meet. Then lunch at Lamberts - I was expecting a small winery but they obviously focus on lunches for tour parties- I think they provided a cooked two course meal for 80+ people. The red wines were nice. Then the jam shop at Beerenberg before an hour at Hahndorf. I had a wander and for me the hour was long enough.

      Great value!
A wonderful way to experience the Barossa without the hassle of driving. A good choice of wineries, morning tea & a delicious lunch included. Our friendly tour guide made the day very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this tour for anybody wanting to experience the Barossa. Excellent value for money!

      Two tours in one
This tour is two tours in one. In the morning we were given a good overview of central Adelaide. This included a visit to the National Wine Museum and St. Peter's Cathedral. After lunch, we visited the market, the tour took us to Hahndorf. On the way we visited Mount Lofty summit and Beerenberg farm. In Hahndorf we had plenty of time to look around and partake in the beer tasting. Our guide/driver Peter was very welcoming and knowledgeable

Best way see Adelaide and the countryside.
If you only have 24 hours or 5 days in this city this is the trip for you. Get a great taste of the city, beautiful northern suburbs, botanical gardens, stunning churches, lush mountains and Hahndorf. Taste great wines and beer without needing to go to 10 wineries. Bus driver Peter gave excellent comentary from his extensive knowledge while driving so smoothly and safely in the modern coach. A phonecall was all that was needed to organise a hotel pickup.

A try to know the city
The tour went by a big bus around the highlights of the city. The stories were helpful for understanding the city. However, staying the wine centre too long for those did not love wine tasting. The price did not match the value.

Highly recommend a 7 night cruise on the Murray Princess discovering this amazing river while being spoilt with great food and s
Can highly recommend this trip on the mighty Murray River. I thought I'd be bored, but not at all. Great on shore excursions learning about the history of the river and paddle steamers. Staff were amazing, nothing was a problem. Food was fantastic, buffet brekkies, 2 course lunches or ploughman's lunch, 3 course dinners. Alcohol at very reasonable prices with happy hour daily 20% off 5-6pm, wine/beer specials every lunch time with 20% off. Cabins a bit small but you don't spend much time in them. Great hot water showers. And of course, the spectacular scenery as you cruise along this enormous river.

      A peaceful Aussie experience
A lovely day out. Very peaceful. Trip down the Murray on a paddle steamer was really good, Shame it couldn't be just a bit longer. Food on the boat was 1st class. Super tasty. After the cruise we got free time in the town of Mannum but it was probably too long, very quiet town with not alpt to see (museum closed due to flooding earlier this year) On the way back we stopped at Melbas chocolate factory and there was a cheese place next door but it was closing. Our driver, Michael, was fantastic. We felt very safe, and he was full of local information. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Good introduction to Adelaide and Hahndorf
This tour is actually two half day tours combined with about an hour's break for lunch. In the morning, we visited the sights of Adelaide, including stops at the National Wine Centre, St. Peter's Cathedral, and Light's Vision. In the afternoon, we went to the Mt. Lofty summit and then spent a few hours in Hahndorf. Tea and apfel strudel or beer tasting at the Hahndorf Inn was included. That was delicious. We could wander along the streets of Hahndorf and soak in the German atmosphere. I would recommend this tour to those who are either visiting for the first time or need a refresher of the main sights.

      Day in the Barossa
Roger gave us a very interesting commentary as we drowe through the countryside to Barossa. Disappointed with the wines at Jacobs Creek. Hard to understand the Asian person telling us about Jacobs Creek. Tour of susrrounding vines was a walk outside the centre to a few rows of vines. Nice lunch at the 2nd winery. - only 2 places for wine tasting. Trip to Hahndorf village for an hour. Not enough time for this place. Lots of interesting shops and buildings. Enjoyed our McLaren Vale wine tasting tour much more. than the Barossa one.

Day trip to the Murray River
Roger our driver gave a lot of information as we drove to Mannon and then onto the Proud Mary. Given morning tea and virtually straight into lunch. It was a nice meal but portions were't very big. Had a chance to see birds on the river. Didn't go far really as only a 2 hr trip while the longer cruise people were ashore at Mannon. It was a very cold wind. We had time to walk around Mannon but found anything interesting was closed. It was quite dead really. Area had suffered from the earlier floods. Stopped at Chocolate and Cheese factories . No demonstrations or tastings - just buying . An interesting drive through the countryside but not an exciting day.

      3 hour city tour
It was about the worst tour I have ever been on, 1 hour of tour, 1 stop for a photo shoot and the rest was made up of, returning the bus as ours was not working. Then did the same tour again (passing the same church 4 times) then did drop offs.

The commentary from our tour guide was brilliant! So many interesting facts and great stories with some good humor thrown in. The coach was comfortable and we felt very safe in the hands of our experienced driver. We had a great time in Hahndorf and enjoyed the afternoon tea and beer-tasting experience.

First time to Adelaide and thought I’d go see the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf so this seemed the perfect choice.
Bus was prompt and driver very knowledgeable.
Afternoon tea was included in price.
    Left Adelaide at 1pm.
    20 minutes at Mt Lofty
20 minutes at Beerenberg factory (Jams/preserves)
Arrived at Hahndorf about 2:30 and proceeded to the Afternoon tea.
After waiting an hour for a cup of tea and a piece of strudel, I was left with 1/2 hour to explore the town before having to return to bus by 4:10pm.
    Back in Adelaide by 4:40pm.
No faults with driver but $95 for what was effectively less than 1.5 hour tour.

The tour is too expensive for what you get. Nice commentary on the coach and we chose the tea and cake for our refreshment in Hahndorf which was very nice.
Free time in Hanhdorf is ok if you like very touristy souvenir and gift shops but if not like us it was complete waste of time. Would have liked to know more about the history of the buildings and village in general.

We wished we had hired a car and driven ourselves. We were astonished and dismayed that the tour guide/driver made no acknowledgement of the first nation people at any time during the tour. To listen to the commentary, the " history " of Adelaide started with the arrival of European and English explorers. Be aware also that you do not need to be on time for your tour as they ask, they will keep those passengers who arrive on time ( like us ), waiting for more than 15 minutes.

Tour was great, enough time for the mount lofty summit and Beerenberg farm, the only downside is we would’ve really loved more time in Hahndorf, another 20 minutes essential, another hour would’ve been great. I believe public transport does run from Adelaide to Hahndorf so that might’ve been the way to go. The tour guides make the trip enjoyable and the Adelaide Hills are beautiful, particularly liked Stirling.

We enjoyed our visit just a shame it drizzled the full time we were there . I had some home made liquorice ice cream yum always on the look out as my favourite . Loved the gift shop with all the cuckoo clocks then we had warm wine sitting beside a log fire . What else could you ask for on a drizzly day .

Hi Sandy, we're so glad to hear you enjoyed your day on tour, despite the raining weather. Sipping wine by a warm log fire sounds amazing for this cooler weather. We look forward to welcoming you back on tour with us one day. Best regards, The Adelaide Sightseeing Team

This was a great way to spend the afternoon - unrushed, interesting and value for money.

Our guide was Mark - a top fella! Very knowledgeable with an obvious love for his country - he gave an excellent commentary and kept us well entertained.
One lady mentioned that she’d never seen a koala in the wild before - so on the way back Mark took us to an area where koalas are known to live and once we found one we had a stop and photo opportunity.

It’s a comfortable tour of just the right length to some very pretty places. The afternoon tea/beer samples was excellent and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone

THis was a good short tour, we had already seen most of the city highlights but as this tour left the bus depot a few places were pointed out to us. We then headed to the Hills and stopped at the Beerenberg Farm Shop. Very crowded but we did manage to get what we wanted. We also stopped at the Mount Lofty Lookout. Quite a distant view from there. Then on to Hahndorf arriving about 2.45pm and we had until 4.30pm to wander around where we pleased. We were given vouchers for afternoon tea at the Hahndorf Inn. A pleasant time wandering around and we arrived back in Adelaide at 5.15pm. The bus driver/guide was excellent and gave an interesting commentary on the tour.

As Senior Card Holders we travelled by bus to Hahndorf for free. This quaint German village is beautiful and peaceful. The restaurants are plentiful and the food fabulous. There is lots to see and do and I would recommend a trip here to everyone.
