We were having lunch in one of Lake Mackenzie’s picnic areas. A staff member from this tour company offered us a can of coke each, gave us a good laugh and even took our rubbish we had been carrying around in a bag. We had hiked to Lake Mackenzie the day before and camped overnight. Then the weather got rainy so we were walking around in our rain jackets, packing up to head home. We really appreciated the generosity. Experiences like these make me grateful for the world. Thanks again mate!

The trip started on time.The tour guide was pretty nice and made a great job. He gave us a lot of information about the island and replied on each question. The well and lovely prepared lunch and picknick was really tasty. The tour was a great adventure and I advise to book a tour like that one instead to make an own trip if you have no or just a little bit experience with driving on sand. Really, just believe me.

It was a great tour! We visited lake Mc Kenzie, Eurong, Central Station and did a rainforest walk along a beautiful creek. The guide told us a lot of interesting information about the island and its history.

We went on an amazing day trip to Fraser Island with a group of friends and it was overall, a fabulous experience! The day was long but our tour guide, Jacob was an absolute delight. He very often kept our journey light hearted and more frequently downright hysterical. We were in absolute stitches all day long. We loved him and our time at Fraser. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A super guide / driver (Michael) on board of the vehicle. He enjoys every minute and so did we learn about the history of the island Fraser and the animals living there. The only one thing I missed was some more explanation on the rain forest trees and plants. After all the price is well worth and we do very recommend the trip.

I recently took part in a Discovery tour of Fraser Island as part of my G adventure East Coast trip. I had Jamie as my Fraser Island tour guide. During the tour I was left feeling very uncomfortable with the inappropriate jokes and conversations that Jamie would make towards me. I am glad that I booked my tour through G Adventures so that we had another guide with our group rather than it just being Jamie, as I would have felt very unsafe without another guide with our group. Fraser Island was one main reasons I booked the tour and was left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with my experience. I will not be recommending this tour.

A great day out around Fraser Island, our tour guide Jacob was very knowledgable and pointed out lots of birds and other wildlife along our route. The hour at lake mackenzie was the absolute highlight, great to have so much time there. Shame about the A/C being broken, it was dealt with well in the end. I'd recommend a system for checking everyone in and getting onto the bus. Having no list of names can be confusing, especially if you didn't book direct though discovery. I was disappointed with the rudeness and lack of help we experienced when left to our own devices to figure out if this was the right tour.

Fraser Island, never fails to impress. Driver Mike was very knowledgeable and made the trip exciting and fun. Plenty of time to swim and relax at Lake McKenzie. The food was basic, rustic but wholesome and filling. The Myrtle cake is not to be missed!

I just came back from a trip on the East Coast and for sure Fraser Island is the highlight of it, specially with this company. I was worried about camping, but the premium tour makes it easy :D The showers were super good and clean and we had beds in our tents . We also didn't have to worry about cooking as the guide were taking care of it. My group was young and fun, but not too much party :) I would definitely recommend this trip.

Lovely day on gorgeus Fraser Island in 4wD car. Excellent driver Edward who knew such a lot about The Island. We learnt a lot , got many informations from him. The whole day was excellent. I would recommend it.

Lake McKenzie and the Rain Forest walk were the highlights of the trip. The trip all seemed very rushed once we had lunch and left Lake McKenzie Michael gave a well rehearsed spiel about the Aboriginals that live and had lived on the island which went on for far too long and you could see most people had lost interest. Very disappointed not to see the ship wreck Lunch was very basic a minced chicken and salad roll with a can of drink. Also we did not stop for afternoon tea said to be on the itinerary

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our Fraser day tour with Edward. Even though we have our own 4WD, it was a fabulous experience to be an Aussie 'tourist' and be treated to the natural wonder of Fraser Island, without the hassle of navigating those bumpy inland tracks! We loved the sandy highway, the rainforest walk at Central Station, the swim at Lake McKenzie, and learning about the ecosystem of the Island. Edward was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and natural ecology of Fraser. He was passionate about sharing his knowledge with us and he looked after the group so well. Edward was a very professional and safe driver who navigated the beach and inland tracks with great skill! We had an amazing day at Fraser and would highly recommend this tour to fellow Aussies and overseas visitors alike.

Just came back from a 3 day tour with Dingo's and had so much fun! I met really nice people and our guide was so funny. I had such a wonderfull time on Fraser and I saw so much in 3 days. We were camping and we cooked our own meals, I also really enjoyed driving the 4WD on the beach too! I was very lucky and saw so much wildlife: dingos, turtles, rays, osprey, dolphins, whale...

It was cool to see Fraser Island before leaving Australia. The tour guide was excellent as well. However, I don’t think the price fit the experience. In my opinion, it was way over-priced. I wouldn’t pay more than $120 AUD.
