Awesome day family of 7 absolutely loved it and want to do it again very professional set up and great guides would recommend this trip to all who seek adventure and natural beauty

As 2 parents in their early 50's with a 13yr old we were excited and anxious about our first blow up rubber kayak trip down Tully River. With control over our own kayak we safely made our way down grade 3 and 2 rapids about 10 in total which took 2hours to complete through beautiful tropical rainforest. Looking forward to returning to Wildside for another trip down the Tully on our next visit to Mission Beach. Highly recommended.

Had a awesome half day on the river, Leon and the crew made if fun as well as what to do incase we had a spill made it super exciting, my son and I didn't flip but my friends we're not so lucky, was very funny, highly recommend.

These two individuals are like a dynamic duo on the water. John’s enthusiastic and detailed instructions are paired perfectly with Shawn’s chill and concise guidance. Together, they created a seamless and exhilarating experience for our family who love to raft the rivers in the States. The white water rafting itself is thrilling and adrenaline-pumping for certain. What sets Wildside apart is the attention to detail and true love for the river. Shawn and John not only navigate the rapids with precision and skill, but they also take the time to point out the beauty of the surrounding flora and fauna. It’s like getting a nature tour and a white water adventure all in one. They know the history of the area and have paddled all around the world! I still can’t believe we had these incredible guys as our guides! My 8 year old and I had an epic flip in a class 3 which could have been terrifying but instead it was a great experience with Shawn right there to hoist my child and I out of the water. He grabbed the flipped kayak and ensured we were totally cool. John was beaming like a proud Father as he knew we would be ok and was supportive. Being a neurotic Mother and experienced oar boatwoman, I am quite selective with companies I utilize if we are outside of our comfort zone (rivers we know, inflatable kayaks, out of the country, etc). I did my research! Wildside doesn’t feel commercialized or like a cookie-cutter experience, instead it feels like you are embarking on a wild journey with friends who truly care about your safety, enjoyment, and the environment. I wish these guys lived stateside so we could raft with them more often.

Amazing experience!!! We had the best day under the fantastic guidance of Leon and Sean. Beautiful rainforests, spectacular scenery and the most adrenaline fuelled white water fun through the stunning Tully river!! My husband and I are in our 50’s and it was the best day of our trip so far. Thanks guys!!

We went for the half-day sports rafting tour and the rapids and thrills were wild! The guides are very experienced at teaching you how to steer the raft and what to do when things don't go to plan, and briefing you before each rapid to give you a plan of attack. We had one guide lead ahead and one follow behind to help us out if we needed it. Just challenging enough for a thrill while still feeling safe and supported - we had a few fall-ins and got stuck in a hole but got out of it unscathed thanks to our guides, so it was all part of the experience! Thanks again for a great day on the water! A definite must-do if you love adventure!

Very experience, Tourguide and a lot of fun down the river, but at this time of the year we did get eaten alive by March flies – not worth it for the five days of scratching bites afterwards. Only attempt this if you have a full body gimp suit at this time of the year, unless you like swatting the whole time and then scratching…
