    Awesome Experience
A beautiful vessel and great way to view the lovely sunset. We were blessed with great weather and calm seas. Captain was very informative on the surrounding land marks and the service was excellent with great snacks and bar service. Will definitely do again on our next visit to Port Douglas.

A must to do in Port Douglass
This is truly a must to do while in Port Douglass. As you sail out of the Marina with a drink in hand and very yummy food. The staff are super friendly. It was lovely and peaceful waiting for the amazing sun to set.

Shaolin and Low Isles snorkelling rocks!
This was the 3rd time we have taken the Shaolin to go snorkeling at Low Isles off Port Douglas. It is the best day our for young and old. You mosey out to the Low Isles with a small number of other passengers taking about 75 minutes and well cared for by the captain and 2 crew members. Take in the great vistas and chilled vibes of the Shaolin. The snorkeling at Low Isles I rate having snorkelled in multiple places on the reef over the years. This trip we saw it all: swam with the turtles and a school of travelli; saw amazing colouful fish and coral and clam shells of all shapes and sizes; saw harmless reef sharks; and much more. The snorkeling gear provided by the Shaolin is top notch as are the tips, advice and tour to see the most. Morning tea is provided after about an hour of snokelling and then back into the water for some more snorkeling (you can also take a short tour of the island courtesy of the knowledgeable captain). A great lunch is provided back on the Shalin at 2 pm after which you return to Port Douglas totally relaxed. Highly recommended, great day for families too!

    Very nice cruise!
The weather was quite dreary on the day of our sunset sail, but the captain made the most of it, by taking us up the river instead of out to sea. We had a really fun time! Many thanks to Flynn and Tayla!

    Very Enjoyable
Had a very enjoyable time on this sunset cruise. Whilst it was very windy, the captain of the boat tried to take us out to sea, but it was very obvious that it would not be pleasant. So the boat turned around and went into the estuary, which we had never been in before. So peaceful and calming and I would suggest if you have never been this way before, it is worth the visit. Very informative commentary as well. In fact, I would say that I think I preferred this to our previous seafood luncheon trip on the sea. Great boat to sail on, would do it again. Also the fact that you get back in time to go to a restaurant is a bonus.

A beautiful relaxing experience with my wife, out on the ocean for a shorter holiday adventure. Easy going crew with tasty nibbles and drinks. Unique boat trip, great sunset. Value for money, totally nailed it.

    Lived up to our expectations..
Just like we imagined, the weather was fantastic & the crew were super friendly & knowledgeable. We love supporting the family businesses, & this cruise did not disappoint. The captain was wonderful & up to date with everything to do with what was happening in Port Douglas & outer suburbs. Good advice on the closure of roads on the 10/09/23 due to the bike ride,we realised that we needed to leave PD on the 09/09/23 to avoid the road closures. The cruise was lovely & we met many like minded travelers. A cruise worth every cent we paid for it. 👌🏼👌🏼🧐

We joined Shaolin for a midweek seafood lunch cruise. We can't recommend the experience highly enough. The boat itself is just lovely and it is well worth checking out the accommodations below deck.
The cruise was a fun trip with a quick peek out to the ocean then a leisurely cruise on the river. For those, like me, who are prone to motion sickness, this is a great way to experience PD from the water.
The very reasonable cost includes a drink of choice, a small entree of spring rolls then a generous serve of fresh prawns. Additional drinks to purchase are very reasonably priced and the commentary from the skipper was great. So interesting to hear life on the marina.
We met lots of fun and interesting people on the boat too. All in all a fun way to spend a few hours.

Wonderful leisurely sailing cruise on a still and very hot day, but nice and cool in the large aft cabin with open sides, around the large table with 10 fellow passengers, enjoying our seafood lunch and superb view. Excellent sailmenship by captain and crew with informative commentary. Highly recommended!

This is a great afternoon sail. We booked this a couple of months before because of the great reviews. We enjoyed every moment and our captain and hostess were both so informative and interesting.
Our lunch was delicious and the prawns were straight from the trawler. Some of the best we’ve had. I don’t write many reviews but this one was outstanding.
Thoroughly recommend this seafood luncheon.

A great afternoon spent on the Shaolin with Flynn and Floyd as the crew. Wonderful weather for the voyage but it was the crew and catering that completed the experience. A welcome drink, local mini spring rolls and then the most generous serving of local prawns. A good mix of guests too so lots of banter and laughs.

The time sailing off Port Douglas for an hour or so was sublime.

Thoroughly enjoyable and recommended.

This seafood lunch cruise is excellent. Delicious seafood enjoyed by everyone. Windy on the day at sea , so our Captain , Flynn opted for a gentle cruise down the inlet. Saw a small wild crocodile basking in the sun on the banks. Great group of people and we didn’t stop laughing at all the stories. Highly recommend for all age groups

A nice way to spend a few hours on the water with a light lunch... staff were pleasant and attentive. I think for the price of the tickets there should be be more food included.

Thank you for your review and feedback on our Shaolin Sail, many thanks. Shame about the wind. It has been playing havoc for most companies here in the tropics at the moment. We are still glad to have you onboard though.
