We did a half day daintree tour. The tour guide was amazing. His knowledge was extensive across Australian history, aboriginal culture, environmental issues and the Daintree forest itself. We enjoyed the whole trip in a very comfortable van.

The full day experience was amazing! The tour itself was extremely well organized, which allowed us to pack a lot into the day; and Mel's colorful commentary had the group laughing the entire time. I was surprised by how much I learned and how much fun we had doing it. Highly recommend!!!

Our full day trip to Daintre Forest and Cape Tribulation was fantastic from start to finish. Much due to our knowlegeable and humouristc driver/guide young mr Matthew. His contrubution with stories of nature, culture and animal life made the tour into something very special. Not forgetting the ice cream speach! Hilarious!😀 Thank you Matt for an unforgettable day! The Daintree was amazing. This tour hits all the highlights and that little bit more. Our guide Adam full of knowledge about everything. This is one tour that you must do if you are up in Far North Queensland

We visited the Daintree Rainforest with family and friends back in October. We spent the day with Daintree Discovery Tours and had a great experience. In particular, I want to take a minute to talk about Matt, our guide on this wonderful excursion. Matt used to be a teacher. But he gave all that up for this dream job of taking folks like us on out into the Rainforest. And what a teacher he was! Matt's accent and mannerisms made me feel like I was in Professor Lupin's class at Hogwarts. He was truly a joy to be around! I had so many videos from this day, but I my favorites are of the Cassowary we encountered on our trip and of Matt telling us about Captain Cook and the crew of the Endeavor getting stuck at Cape Tribulation. I'm not sure I can upload a video, but I'll try to give you a couple of pics from our day. I grabbed a still shot of the Cassowary as she meandered past us. I would highly recommend Daintree Discovery Tours and Matt, in particular, as our time with him was awesome!

Adam was an excellent driver and knowledgeable tour guide. We did the full-day tour and saw a good variety of things. We felt very safe and informed. This ended up being 10 hours from pick up to drop off so plan accordingly. Only lost cell reception for about 3 hours of that.

Fantastic trip with a very enthusiastic and entertaining Mel! We saw all the highlights and all promises and expectations were met fully. Very nice that the groups are only10 persons maximum, this makes the trip feel very personal.

Highly recommend. Mel was fantastic, very knowledgable, enthusiastic and made the day fun. A great tour to fit in quite a lot of you are short on time.

We had an amazing time. Adam keep us entertained all day. He was so enthusiastic and funny. Learnt lots about the environs and Mossman Gorge was beautiful. Great lunch and beautiful walk through the Daintree Forest the most stunning plants. Amazing ice-cream stop too And last a boat trip down the river croc spotting & 1 youngster found. Amazing experience with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Adam! As you walk through the Daintree Rainforest, there’s a lot of things you’d miss out on if you weren’t with a guided tour. So, I found this tour very worth it and a great experience. Adam was very sharp and knowledgeable, so he was able to point out things such as the Boyd’s forest dragon, which was camouflaged to a tree, and explain to us about all the different kinds flora and fauna. There was also some driving during the tour, so I appreciated how Adam spent that time explaining the history of Port Douglas, the rainforest and various things. It made the ride a lot more fun and passed the time. Highlights of the tour include: - the tropical flavored daintree ice cream (truly unforgettable and delicious) - the swim in the creek was unique and refreshing - seeing the flora and fauna, but also learning about the background of each - learning about the history of the Kuku Yalanji - Mount Alexandra lookout - Ferry ride to see the mangroves + wildlife (crocs) Exceeded expectations and highly recommend.

We did the half day tour and Kim was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and and kept us entertained. A bonus on the River boat trip was seeing a massive Crocodile( realise we were lucky) also the swim in the gorge among rain forest was beautiful. Half a day suited us fine. Met some lovely people on our tour.

Did the afternoon tour with Kim as our guide. It was an enjoyable and memorable day out. Travel by minibus with Kim giving a good commentary about local places, aboriginal culture, the tropical forest, birds and wildlife. Drove us to the Daintree river for our one hour cruise again with an informative boat captain. Saw a crocodile swimming in the river which was amazing ! After the cruise driven to Mossman Gorge for a swim in the river, which was again an amazing experience. There is an excellent gift shop at the gorge. An excellent 1/2 day out, strongly recommend. Kim was a great guide
