A lovely half day out. A trip from Port Douglas to the Low Isles. A pleasant boat journey to the Low Isles and back. We took the option of the glass bottom boat from the cruiser to the shore and the captain made sure there was plenty to see and was also very informative and explained things well. We snorkelled from the beach which was great for the less experienced . Excellent instructions from the crew.

We had the most amazing experience. Jorg, Phoebe and Acacia were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make this trip fun and memorable. A special thanks goes out to Acacia who took time to have a one on one snorkelling lesson with me and made me feel comfortable. What a breath taking experience. Recommend this highly to anyone . Staff were highly knowledgeable and friendly. The scuba was fantastic lots to see - bucket list item for me Ticket off , particaly seeing and swimming over Many turtles. Just incredible ❤️

Absolutely fantastic experience. Super quick to get out to the island so no need to worry about sea sickness etc, the boats nice and fast. The tour guides Jorg, Phoebe and Akashia were really helpful and knowledgeable. We did the glass bottom boat tour first where Jorg taught us about the different corals and species of fish. Then the snorkeling was brilliant saw Green Sea Turtles, loads of different fish and even a couple of reef sharks. It is definitely a tour that anyone can enjoy no matter their swimming capabilities.

We were first time snorkellers, in our 60's. We couldn't have picked a better team to go with. Very safety conscious, helpful and friendly. Their knowledge of the reef and everything in it was wonderful. We will definately be doing it again and recommend it to anyone who is a bit unsure about doing it. You won't regret it. 😃

My husband and I recently went on the morning 1/2 day cruise and had a fantastic time. After a 40 minute ride to the Low Isles, we enjoyed a glass bottom boat tour, learning about the reef and its inhabitants. We then had time to snorkel directly from the beach. Lycra suits were provided to protect against “stingers”, although we did not encounter any. The water was calm and clear, with a very mild current, which made it easy for us to navigate over the reef, as 74 year old casual snorkelers. We saw lots of colorful fish, and even had a green turtle swim along side of us. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Great tour!

Was a great start for some who has never snorkeled before, the crew on board were very informative and ensured everyone was safe and comfortable at all times. We saw 2 green sea turtles, one reef shark and loads of fish. 🐢🐢🦈

It was an amazing great experience for myself (60yrs) and daughter (30yrs) - very suitable for all ages as it caters for people who may not be confident to go in the water, to confident snorkelers. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, and we saw a turtle which was our dream. Thank you to the great team at Calypso!!

Had a great time with my wife, 4 yr old girl and 2 yr old boy. The staff of Jorg, Phoebe and Kevin were very professional and made for an enjoyable experience. The coral and sea life was like nothing I had seen before and were saw a few turtles as well! Couldn’t recommend this tour enough!

We did this tour recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crew were all helpful and informative. Included a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling, a quick walk to the lighthouse and morning tea when we got back on board for trip home. Would totally recommend!

Excellent day out with knowledgeable guides. Lots of information and support for those new to snorkelling. Boat well provisioned with snacks (including for dietary needs) & motion sickness medication.

We did the 7.30 am snorkelling trip at the Low Isles today (30th October). The crew were really helpful and informative. We saw lots of beautiful fish and even a small black reef tip. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were so glad we did it. Sophie & Esme.

Low Isles half day with slipper Kevin and his crew. Comfortable, swift, friendly, very competent, lovely muffins and fruit… just ready an excellent experience all in all. We’re very critical travellers and can truly say that the whole trip was worth the $229 pp. would definitely use them again for a larger trip.

Great Family Reef option! We were looking for an afternoon option and Calypso’s Low Island tour was great for our family - 7yo, 10yo, 14yo, Mum, Dad & Nan! Jorg, Taylah & Jordan looked after us, lots of local knowledge and knew all the best spots! Lots of beautiful turtles as well as a myriad of tropical reef fish. We didn’t want to get out of the water! Lots of things to do, kids loved the glass bottom boat, and just coming and going from beach access to the water. Hint - take goggles/masks your kids are comfortable with already, the snorkel mask can be tricky for them, but they are not required to see some of the turtles just a metre from shore!
