          Excellent value-packed day tour
We enjoyed the lengthy drive north from Cairns, with interesting commentary from Jeremy. The coastal scenery and Coral Sea views were spectacular, and the Daintree River cruise was beautiful and informative. Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge were both memorable and unique. Jeremy's accounts of the geological evolution of the region, the flora, fauna and ecology were sound and educational. We would certainly do this again!

Best Cape Trib tour - Hands down!
Just wow! We were looking for a Cape Trib tour during Covid and this company really impressed us! The day was perfect from start to finish, really informative and took us to the best places! Thanks Jeremy, you were amazing!

One croc, two flying orioles, and one night-time bird sleeping
Our boat ride was disappointing -- one croc, two flying orioles, and one night-time bird sleeping. Our guide advised us not to walk in the surf because of jellyfish. We saw a total of four butterflies -- a tailed jay, Ullysses, and two small lavender ones that I don't the name of. It was interesting to learn the history of Captain Cooke's adventure in the area.

          We had a great time!
We really enjoyed this tour. The rain forest was beautiful and our very knowledgeable guide Jeremy gave us lots of interesting information about the the trees, the wildlife and the area in general. The walks were very pleasant. The crocodile cruise was also really fun and we saw many crocs. It was a great day out and I would definitely recommend!

          Overnight stay in Cape Tribulation
Such a great tour with CTC! I chose the overnight stay which I really recommend as you get more time in this fantastic place and the only price difference is the cost of whichever hostel you chose to stay in (I stayed at the Cape Trib Beach House). I did a guided night walk on my evening which was fantastic. We saw a couple of crocs on the Daintree river cruise which was a highlight! I had Peter as a tour guide both days and he is such a knowledgable and chilled guy who really really cares about the rainforest and the environment! Too easy guys! Toooooo easy!

          Wonderful Experience!
Jam-packed but also relaxed- made for a great day, and a great way to see the Daintree! Our guide Wylie was wonderful- he was hilarious, joyful, and just created a great group atmosphere.

Attenborough's favourite place in the world
Great day. Peter was extremely knowledgable, energetic, friendly and full of great stats, facts and stories. Didnt see any crocs on the river boat cruise but Mossman's Gorge was beautiful. Preferred it to the Great Barrier Reef.

          Great Trib Trip
This tour was one of a kind. Not only did our guide have so much interesting information, he also e encouraged us to explore our surroundings and look for the curiosities of nature. I really enjoyed the Daintree, and the Mossman Gorge was unforgettable. The lunch left something to be desired, as it was quite heavy - I couldn't finish it. But otherwise I was very comfortable, and managed to sleep on the trip between stops. Would definitely come back!

          Beautiful tour with great guide
Our great guide Pete had a lot of interesting stories to tell about the area. Well organised - with an ice cream pit stop that was perfect in the heat. Beautiful views. And an interesting crocodile cruise.

Fabulous Daintree and Mossman Gorge Trip
Great tour, do NOT go to Cairns without doing a trip to this amazing rainforest, the oldest on the planet! The trip was enhanced by our guide and driver Doug, superb knowledge and lots of stories to keep us entertained. Nothing was too much trouble. Saw a croc and a cassowary and chick, not to mention numerous amazing plants and trees! Yes it’s a long drive, can’t believe people mark the tour down for this- I mean really? Admittedly the $17 lunch is rubbish, hence I knocked a star off. Take you own, they have a big cool box to store everything, but definitely go!

The best tour in the tablelands
Wiley our tour guide was awesome and fun all the way. The tour takes you to pretty much the same places that all the tours go to, except this one is way cheaper. We go there earlier than any other tour, so we get all the locations by ourselves for a while before another group of people joins in... the only thing that is not included is the guarantee that you WILL see wildlife (but there is nothing you can do about it right?) and lunch (which you can make yourself or buy at one of the stops). Overall, I highly recommend this tour

After I was picked up in a lovely new bus by Lisa, we headed for Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas. We were taken on a short tour of the park and had the opportunity to feed a cassowary. I loved meeting Pricilla the black cockatoo. The two rangers were interesting. We had morning tea there with some delicious hot danishes plus some free time to wander the park.
We then headed across the Daintree River on the ferry to a lookout overlooking where the River goes out to sea. After that we wandered on a boardwalk with Lisa giving us some interesting information about the forest and seeing a snake curled up nearby.
Then it was off to Mason’s Cafe and swimming hole for lunch. I enjoyed the honey soy chicken and salads. A couple of people braved the water after lunch. It was a beautiful spot for lunch.
Next we headed off to Cape Tribulation. It is a shame you can’t swim there or paddle due to the stingers and crocodiles that hang out there it the view is spectacular.
Then a short trip to the Daintree Ice-cream company and just what we needed a 4 scoop cup. I loved the Wattleseed one the best. Yum!
Next was our Daintree River Cruise. We didn’t see a heap of crocodiles but seeing the tiny baby one one the bank was cool. This boat trip was fun.
This is a very long day trip but it didn’t feel like it. The bus was very comfortable and was driven perfectly by Lisa. She had a lot of local stories having lived up there. I thought she was super friendly, funny and was an excellent tour guide.

The guide does not stop talking from the moment you get in the run down bus, has absolutely no filter. Although he's knowledgeable about the area he tells stories about personal experiences that has nothing to do with the area and scares overseas tourists with the stories of crocodiles and stingers. He often has hands off the wheel holding a microscope in one hand and pointing at things with eyes off the road at things. The lunch was adequate but other tours for same price better value for money as we found out from talking to other people at the waterhole we went to.

Had an amazing day trip - Jeremy is a great tour guide who told us tons of interesting information about the region, animals, history, geology... you name it. Visited rainforest and beach, mangroves and ice creamery, were incredibly lucky to see crocodiles and cassowaries (three times!), even stopped on the way to look at osprey nest and cane sugar harvester. Lunch was also very good.
For our remaining time in Cairns followed Jeremy's advice about mt Whitfield trekking - did blue arrow, saw wild pigs and had a great day hiking!

Definitely recommend if you want a truly local experience with a guide who is personally interested in nature conservation.

The tour was the highlight of our one week holiday in Cairns. Jeremy is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever come across, sharing plenty of interesting facts throughout the day. He also has an awesome attitude and great sense of humour which is just perfect for holiday vibes. The day is planned (and also flexible if required) so that you can enjoy Cape Trib, Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge to the max. The Daintree iced tea was delicious, as well as the Daintree ice cream (the wattleseed and black sapote flavours were surprisingly good). He also bought some local tropical fruits to share with us, which was a real bonus. His extra efforts meant we got a rare sighting of a cassowary and its baby. And the crocodile sighting at a distance of only a few metres was amazing. But the best part of the day has to be the refreshing dip in the crystal clear rockpool. Make sure to bring your swimmers. His passion is extraordinary and infectious, and the trip would not have been the same had we done it ourselves, or with another tour. Worth paying the extra to include the picnic lunch. You might also want to pack a small snack if you don’t have breakfast prior. It’s a long day, but well worth the time!

I had a wonderful day; Cape Trib was on my bucket list and Jeremy, our driver and owner of the company was great; so much knowledge. Due to covid we only had 5 or 6 tourists on board. The other people were older than myself so sometimes, during walks, it went a bit too slow for me (took up too much time). Mossman gorge was canceled due to covid but no discount was given which was disappointing as it's a big part of the tour. advertised for $161 but somehow ended up paying $164

Wow where do I start, Jeremy literally was the best
tour guide I've ever been with. Knowledge so
extensive it blew my mind, taught me a lot of things
and really opened my eyes. He was so lovely and
always made sure we were okay by offering towels
when we were wet as well as ponchos and even
going to the extent of wiping wet seats so we could
sit on a dry one. I have been on many tours around
the world but Jeremy tops it off 100%, my family and
my wife really enjoyed the trip and all thanks to
Jeremy for topping our holiday off, he's the best and
would highly recommend him to anyone who wants
a committed tour guide as well as a fun one.

Highly recommend this day tour. Jeremy is the owner/operator of Cape Trib Connections. He has a passion for and knowledge of the Daintree which are both astonishing and intoxicating. We were in awe of his knowledge of local history, flora and fauna and the need for conservation of this unique and precious area. Jeremy effectively communicated all this through stories and anecdotes. We appreciated the care he took to make us all comfortable and the special extra touches he brought to the day. Above all, while he encouraged us to engage with the Daintree experience, our personal safety was upper most in his mind. We were renewed by the experience. Thank you Jeremy for a day that was both revealing and memorable.

We couldn’t have asked for a better tour of the Daintree forest and surrounding area. This tour offered the best sites (and a lot of them) for the most reasonable price out there. Picked us up right from our accommodation, and the bus was extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned. Jeremy was THE best guide. Super friendly and extremely knowledgable, he really made it an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing Day out, from start to finish Jeremey our tour guide was a fountain of knowledge. Comfortable ride, great lunch, felt safe and informed all day. Highly recommend this day trip, we had a car with us for our holiday, but if you really want to appreciate the beauty of this rain forest, a guided tour is the best option.
