Nice shore excursion to see the city
Wonderful day tour. Very close to the port with pick up at the casino. Very easy to find. Took us around the city and to the botanical gardens, look out point and a stop for tea and scones. Highly recommend

      A fabulous outing touring Cairns
We had a wonderful time seeing the sights of Cairns, & learning the history of the town. Graeme did a fabulous job, and we loved all the other members of our group. We would recommend this tour to everyone. The dinner cruise was great, & the buffet was delicious. We had such great service.

      Best of Cairns
I can’t say enough good things about this Discovery Tour. We sampled almost everything that Cairns has to offer. Botanical Gardens, Museum, Palm Cove, tea and scones, and more. We were seven in the group. The driver/guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was impressed by his botanical knowledge. Excellent overview of the city, its history, its economy, its geography. Thank you,

Excellent tour after a rough start related to pick up point
We booked the tour six months ago and received a confirmation that the meet-up point is the Reef Casino. However, the booking information was for pick up at the Cruise Terminal at 12:30. My friend called, and we were told to walk to the Casino by 12:50. We got there just as the van pulled up. We were happy only 7 passengers were in the 20-passenger van because it would have been uncomfortable. The highlight of the tour was St. Monica's Cathedral. Chris is a fantastic tour guide—funny, knowledgeable, and kind. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the layout of Cairns and its history.

A MUST DO! Cairns and Tropical North Queensland day tour
We were greeted on time, by a modern, air conditioned, comfortable minivan (seats approx 12 in the back) and tour guide Laurence, whose energy really rubs off on you - Laurence was born to host this tour! The lunch is very good & organised by selecting what you want in the morning with the tour guide phoning ahead. We did spot a couple of crocs & is luck on the day. We did feel rushed once or twice, but that was only to ensure we could enjoy the day to the fullest! We made it to Cape Trib! A shame we didnt make a stop at Alexandra Lookout due to the roadworks fixing the cyclone damage (outwith the companys control). Such an enjoyable experience. This trip was thankful to Laurence - he is an asset to the company; his enthusiasm & knowledge are second to none. Pointing out points of interest along the way, so if you did have more time in Cairns you could do, and listening to his stories of travels & events were enjoyable. Thanking Laurence for a fantastic day, from your scottish friends Gemma & Graeme (the day the fallen tree blocked the road!)

Frankland islands reef cruise, something a little different.
Great trip. Boat ride to island was easy and calm. Staff were friendly and competent. First time I had snorkelled but I had a ball. Saw so many fish and coral so close to the shore. Great spot for kids too as they can play on the beach. Lunch excellent. Submersible boat experience too. Perfect for me to practise snorkeling. Diving also catered for.

This is a really varied tour with highlights of the city stopping to see a magnificent stain glass window in Saint Monica’s Cathedral, having a personal tour around Cairns museum and then out to have a superb afternoon tea, all the places are visited on the tour where extremely interesting and would definitely recommend this again,

      Great Tour and Reasonable Priced
Was an excellent tour and the driver Chris was amazing and did great commentary through out the tour. St Monica’s church was fantastic the stained glass windows and the story about them was wonderful. All was spectacular but the afternoon tea scones were to die for. I strongly would put it on your list to do.

Sure it’s a long day but it’s worth it.
Dale is a wonderful genial host - he’s more than a tour guide. From the time he picked us up in Port Douglas, to the time he dropped us off he was welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, including the dietaries that with notice he’d more than adequately addressed. Dale makes no bones about this being a long day. Much more so if you join in Cairns, but do t be put off. It’s well worth it. Dale says he’s made it a day he’d like to do, so it’s a tour that’s been carefully curated. Across the Daintree River by ferry, a stop at the quiet Thornton Beach, it’s beautiful, in the Daintree and then the trek along the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown. There’s plenty of time to take photos along the way, as well as to croc spot, sadly, there were none obliging. Once in Cooktown there time to take in the sights. First the lookout and then to where Cook landed. From there a short stop for lunch in a local hotel before a visit to the museum. From there it’s home which took us inland. We had stops at the amazing Black Mountain, Palmer River and a final stop to take in the stunning views of the Desailly Range. It’s a great day.

      Great tour
A splendid half day tour. Our driver and host was Chris who did an excellent job in both commentating and providing background context. He was clear and comprehensive and made the tour really informative. Highlights included St Monica's cathedral, the Flecker gardens and the Cairns museum.

This is amazing to see 20ft high enclosed fish tank. It's huge. The talks that are given throughout the Aquarium and very informative and engaging. Every exhibit is very well presented. The best, is feeding time in the huge tank as the fish know when it is about to happen. Really beautiful to see the diverse living coral reefs. Something for all age groups as the portholes at a lower level for young children to see in. It also includes reptiles and frogs from inland Queensland waterways..
