About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- elisaskw0 contributionsBest tour in AustraliaHad a wonderful day exploring the Gold Coast, cape bryon lighthouse, the farm, surfer paradise. The roadside bananas were a sweet surprise . Wished we could stay longer! Kudos to our leader as he braved the weather and kept us truly entertained.Written 16 January 2025
- J6707LYgemmab0 contributionsFantastic DayWelcoming, informative & professional. A clean, tidy, modern & comfortable minibus. Great communcation. Great day, plenty of stops (your not sat on bus all day), incl a stop in Bangalow to really give you a feel for a typical town in NSW. The Farm stop does good coffee & chocolate donuts! I had left a bag on the minibus, and Trevor went above & beyond to help return this to me, whilst I travelled the east coast! So thankful. Thank you TrevorWritten 25 December 2024
- manfredhR3775MY0 contributionsAwsome day - Full recommendation!Probably the most professional, well organised and thought through tours I’ve ever taken. - mingweijeffreyw20240 contributionsGood Services from Trevor.I truly enjoyed this trip and have the opportunity to visit some places, in particular those remote towns in New South Wales. Overall the trip is very well organized. In particular, I am very thankful to Trevor to bring me around these places and bringing me fond memories of Gold Coast and New South Wales. Trevor is really welcoming and approachable. I will never feel bored sitting in the car with him because I can see that he is a very passionate tour guide and had provided me a comprehensive explanation of what I will be expecting in this trip and the places we will be going. I will definitely recommend people to engage in his service because he provides good tour services. Thank you Trevor. I will definitely engage you again next time I come over to Brisbane.Written 26 October 2024
- sherao10 contributionsFabulous trip!It was a great day! Tour guide was fabulous, well organized and flexible. The weather was great too. Really appreciated his knowledge (recorded voice narrations) of the area, that was a first. Thank you!Written 18 October 2024
- mjsg010 contributionsRelaxed tour with a good guideThis day tour of the Gold Coast was well worth it. The guide, Trevor, was very knowledgeable well organised with lots of interesting facts and history about the places visited. The cape Byron walk was an easy stroll past the lighthouse and down to the beach. Can recommend Twisted Sista in Byron bay for lunch - try the "Mighty Rueben" - big enough to share.Written 9 October 2024

It’s a packed day seeing so many sights from the coastline to parts of the Hinterland with everything in between. Trevor is very friendly and knowledgeable and does everything to make your day trip memorable. Don’t hesitate with booking, book more than one if you can, you really won’t be disappointed. Thanks Trevor, it was just fantastic!!Written 8 August 2024

- CDEtravelling0 contributionsByron Bay to rememberVery nice tour, Trevor was exceptional as a guide, very accomodating and fun. It's a full day trip, so it's good to keep that in mind if you have kids. Sights are superb, there are historical interesting facts as well. Some thrills like being on the most Eastern point of Oz, or standing at the frontier of NSW and QLD. I would reccomend this trip, it was well worth the price.Written 14 July 2024
- Ruchi7230 contributionsThe Perfect Day Getaway TripThis day trip is one of the best among all I have been to so far. Trevor took us to all the lovely little spots to check out the whales and spectacular views of Byron Bay from the top and this trip has so much more… Go ahead and check out cool photos of the solar train as well. Once just amazing day trip Thank you Dear Australia ☺️Written 24 June 2024

Trevor runs a great tour of Noosa and the surrounding environs. He’s able to pick you up at your hotel, and then you go to the Glass House Mountains Lookout, where you get a commanding view of the surrounding mountains and state forest. From there, the tour goes to McCarthy’s Lookout, which offers another great view of the area, and Gerrard’s Lookout, which has similarly stunning views. Then the tour stops in Flaxton for a late breakfast at a great little café. After breakfast, you go to the Wildlife HQ Zoo, where you can interact up close and personal with some animals, including emus (if you choose – not for the faint of heart). Trevor then turns you loose at the beach at Noosa Heads for a while, and you can get lunch in the area if you so choose. After lunch, you go to the neighboring beach, Tea Tree Bay. The tour then takes a turn and you go to a macadamia nut factory where you can learn about mac nuts, try various methods for opening them, and buy just about any flavor of mac nut you can think of. Following that, you go across the street to a ginger factory. Depending on your timing, you can explore the place, or if not, buy just about anything ginger-related you can imagine, before the tour concludes and you drive back to Brisbane.
We really, really, really enjoyed this tour. While the day was long, it neither felt like a marathon nor a sprint. The timing of the tour felt laid back and definitely not rushed. Trevor is really smart and incredibly kind and easygoing, which is an awesome combination for a tour guide. Trevor also comes prepared: in case you inadvertently forgot something you might need on a tour, Trevor more than likely has it in his vehicle. The tour also has elements of flexibility built in. For example, our time at the beach at Noosa Heads, Trevor went and did his own thing and left us to enjoy the beach on our own, which was great, because each person could customize that time (including grabbing lunch) to their needs or desires. We also passed a roadside fruit stand somewhere, and stopped for like 3 minutes to grab some fruit for all of us. Basically, this tour is highly recommended. Alternatively, if you can’t / don’t want to do this tour, we highly recommend one of Trevor’s other tours; even though we didn’t do them, our experience with Trevor was so great that we are confident any tour he leads will be amazing.

A wonderful experience with Trevor! The tour was well planned out, with sufficient time catered for everyone to have a gander and explore. I never felt rushed throughout the tour and got to enjoy each and every venue. The chosen venues are well thought out, with not too long a distance in between each location. None of the locations really came across as "filler" locations. As the schedules aligned, our tour had the visit to Wildlife HQ Zoo swapped for Eumundi Markets after a unanimous vote, which was great. The tour bus was clean and very spacious and can easily accommodate the maximum tour group size with ease.
Trevor himself is a friendly, polished and experienced guide who is able to interact and manage the tour group well. He would genuinely communicate with each and everyone of us, even with one of the guests who could only speak Turkish! His meticulousness is highlighted by comprehensive guidebooks that he provides for his tour. They are filled with information specific to the tour as well as Australia in general. It also helps that he is a graphic designer and his guidebooks are well framed and conceptualized. For his tour, he also created audio tracks to share more information for some of the historical venues as well.

A great day out, got to see plenty of lookouts, a couple tourist spots and really nice places off the beaten track. We got to see a bit of everything, the mountains, Noosa’s beach and even got to stop off at Wildlife HQ and see some native animals. Trevor our guide was very informative and friendly, and the bus was clean and had anything you could have needed (water, sunscreen, etc.). It was amazing how much we got to see yet we didn’t feel rushed at all, it ticks all of my tour boxes.
