About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- madkat9890 contributionsA great date night experienceI have done a few tours through Crime Tours and Historic Australia and this Fortitude Valley Crime Tour was an excellent example of a great tour. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the history and the pace of the tour. Molly was fabulous and kept us very entertained. A really good way to explore the valley for a couple of hours in the afternoon and I liked learning about the Moonlight state and actually being in the mentioned places. Really brought it to life. Logistically the tour finished at a good time to then get dinner and be out before club goers came out.Written 18 August 2024
- 47dimityl0 contributionsGreat night out.Sam was incredible. Her knowledge of the topic was amazing. I have lived in south east Queensland all of my life and grew up in the 80s hearing the news and some of the stories. It was great to see where these incidents happened and hear the more detailed story. Very well presented. Enjoyable experience My friend and I finished the night with steak at Bubbles.Written 16 July 2024
- mamameerkat400 contributionsThere's more to our capital city than meets the eye! What an intriguing history our capital city has. We heard some of the darker stories of the 1980s that occurred in Fortitude Valley. Crime, corruption and murder! What's not to like. Our guide was knowledgeable on the subject and was able to answer questions posed by the group. Looking forward to signing up for another tour in the series in the near future.Written 2 February 2024
- AmyB14670 contributionsInteresting and engagingI thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The information was really interesting and at the right level to inform but not overwhelm the audience (even our teenager maintained interest!). The guide was really engaging and clearly enjoyed sharing the stories. I loved that she suggested online resources if we were interested in digging deeper into any of the stories.Written 14 January 2024
- B3460UOnatashas0 contributionsGreat tour!Another great tour! Sam and Jack did an awesome job. It was great learning more about the crimes in Brisbane- very interesting. One suggestion - the traffic is very distracting given it’s in the main part of fortitude valley - it may be beneficial to try and find corners really out of the way so everyone can hear the speaker. Other than that, we had a great time!Written 25 November 2023
- Stay1749040 contributionsExcellent true crime tour and hostMolly knew the script perfectly and delivered it brilliantly!!! Such a great tour - highly recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Brisbane !!! Thanks so much :)Written 21 October 2023
- L3186FNkirstenh0 contributionsFabulous tour and guideVery pleased we booked this tour, hosted by fabulous tour guide - Molly. Enjoyed being able to view photos and news articles of the time while at the different sites. Molly was very knowledgeable, well spoken, funny and friendly. She answered our questions and pointed out areas that may be of further interest to us.Written 1 October 2023
- michellemC8661TZ0 contributionsCrime history tour adventure! My husband and I attended the South Brisbane Cemetary Crime Tour and we were blown away! The stories that were told were fascinating and it showed us a side to Brisbane we had not known. Some stories that were told, gave us an introduction to Boggo Road Jail and some of its associates (both prisoners and staff. Jack Sim and his assistant were both amazing story tellers and it opened our eyes to some of Brisbane's residents. We are both keen to do more tour and I do recommend this tour if you are crime history buff!Written 2 September 2023
- H9991HLdc0 contributionsMust doThe tourwas super informative and interesting - a must for anyone with an interest in crime or brisbane history. The guide, Jack, was super friendly and knowledgeable.Written 26 August 2023
- Sculthorpe-Pike0 contributionsHo hum …Some interesting stories, some not so. Focus is largely on two mafia brothers. Guide wasted time showing everyone in turn photographs of people we didn’t particularly need to see as fairly irrelevant. A lot of standing around in noisy spots outside building sites where some other relevant building used to be - but not now. All a bit less than riveting until the final stop.Written 30 April 2023
- Belle M0 contributions100% recommend going on this tour!!i absolutely loved this tour. the level of detail that went into the stories of Fortitude Valley’s shady past was incredible. our tour guide molly made it such an immersive experience, showing us photographs of people, buildings and signage and even old video footage from the era, which helped in understanding the wider context of what was happening in Fortitude Valley in the 70s and 80s. I felt like i was transported into a different time and seeing the Valley through a whole new set of eyes! We all had a few laughs at various points of the tour but Molly was very respectful when it came to the victims of the crimes we were hearing about. You can tell that she cares about the stories she is telling. Overall, Molly was an excellent speaker and her story telling was cohesive and captivating and kept us wanting to know more. A lot of effort went into research of this tour, which i appreciate as someone who has a passion for Brisbane’s history. My Dad and i had a wonderful time and are looking forward to going on another one of your tours!Written 10 April 2023
- phoebea2210 contributionsGreat Guide and good info.Very poised and knowledgeable Guide. Molly was very professional. Very interesting histories, but I would maybe suggest just a little less detail on each crime scene and perhaps a couple of extra stops on the guide instead. Very informative though and a worthwhile afternoon! We'll see you at a ghost tour.Written 3 April 2023
- X8651YXgavinm0 contributionsEntertaining and informative, been a local all my life and learned something new!I went on this tour with my daughter never done something like this before. Our tour guide Molly did a fantastic job, she went into great detail about the criminal going ons of the era. She was well spoken and passionate about the stories she told. Definitely recommend to everyone tourists and locals - I was a valley regular in the late 80s and still learned so many new facts about that time. A well researched, well presented tourWritten 2 April 2023
- Patricia R0 contributionsA visit to Brisbane’s dark sideThis tour was excellent. We went on this as a birthday present for a member of our group who is a crime buff. This was very interesting as we toured the sites of old illegal casinos, brothels and the sites of unsolved murders and bombing. The pace of the tour was good and although there was walking it was not taxing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of back story behind the crimes. If you are interested in some of the dark history of Brisbane I would recommend this tour.Written 3 March 2023
- H4366GWhelend0 contributionsThought provoking and a historical insightI was given a Bloody Brisbane Crime Tour for Christmas by my daughter. She went with me and I thought Jack did a wonderful job of commentating as well as Loreta doing a great job of driving us around. All in all it was a wonderful trip and the knowledge Jack has about not only the places but the people discussed during the trip was incredible. We are keen to do another trip soon but will be talking about this one for weeks to come.Written 25 February 2023

If you are looking for something different to do with teenagers (or without them) in Brisbane, you have to do this tour. My 17 & 15 olds loved every minute of of the tour. The guide was so informative and made the night fun with her extra little bits of local knowledge.

We loved it! Plenty of Brisbane’s bloody history right in the centre of the city. Plenty of places to stop and sit and not too much walking if you’ve had a big day of adventures. The guide was excellent and we took our kids… the mini murderinos loved it without it being inappropriate for their age.

Jack Sim’s team know their history. They have taken the time to research specific locations, criminals and their crimes. I would highly recommend attending any of Jack Sim’s ghost tours, they are all interesting and each tour has it’s own unique history.

Molly took us back in time to the early colonisation of Brisbane to crimes that remain unsolved today. The stories were fascinating and expertly delivered; like a walking tour of your favourite true crime podcast. Interactive, engaging and will leave me talking and thinking every time I walk past these CBD buildings. Highly recommended. I will be doing this again. 10/10.

What a bloody great tour. This was my second Crime Tours Australia experience and it was excellent. Jack Sim was our tour guide and his descriptions of the murders was so good it was like he was an eye witness. Walking around the Brisbane CBD will never be the same. Now it's just a gruesome crime scene and I love it. Grab some and do it soon, Have a Bloody Mary before you go.

I booked the Saturday night Bloody Brisbane CBD tour ( only available tour & date) not realising it was the first night of the Brisbane Festival. Although it was not my preferred tour it gave me an insight into the Brisbane CBD & Molly was an excellent presenter

Hi Mark, Brisbane is a vibrant city with a lot of events going on every weekend. We are glad to hear that even with the disruption of Brisabne Festival, you still had a great evening with our guide Molly.
Bloody Brisbane CBD walk operates every Wednesday to Saturday, we try our best to organise tours during weekdays and weekends so that our guests have options. Hope to see you on other tours! We can't wait to have you again!
