About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bandp570 contributionsA fabulous fun history of Brisbane! !The walking tour with Robyn was amazing! She is so knowledgeable about the city, history, stories and fun facts! The tour covered just about any area of interest you might have from art, architecture, city officials, influential women, food, street art, and more! We enjoyed her company so much! And made a new friend. Fabulous time!Written 5 March 2024
- ShanRaff0 contributionsTotal ripoffThe worst value tour in Brisbane! Nearly 300 AUD for a short stroll around the most obvious landmarks ending up at a tourist trap restaurant. Bypasses Anzac Square, Tower Mill, and many truly significant points of interest.Written 16 August 2023
- Shelley480 contributionsBrisbane City Essentials Walking TourOur family had a lovely walking tour of Brisbane city with Robyn as our guide. Robyn was warm, friendly and informative, and we enjoyed the history, architecture and street art (much of which we would have overlooked on our own!) which were highlighted to us along the tour. Highly recommended!Written 15 June 2022
- 760gailb0 contributionsExcellent tour for history and geography of BrisbaneExcellent tour. Highly recommend Lee-Ann's tour. She was so knowledgeable about so many aspects of Brisbane; its history, geography, architecture and art. She guided us through local parts that we'd never have found and gave us a real local insight. Lee-Ann and my husband (a Kiwi) had great conversations about political figures from Brisbane's past. Husband and I are both teachers and love history and geography and this tour was perfect for us. (We did tour in July 2017 but pregnancy/baby/toddler happened soon after!!).Written 7 August 2020
- nicky_morrissey0 contributionsFabulous tourWe highly recommend the walk tour with Lee-Anne! From hunting macadamias to silent appreciation of art. We all had moments of delight thanks to Lee-Anne’s ability to share her love of Brisbane.Written 7 July 2020
- 555bevh0 contributionsBrisbane City Essentials Walking Tour with tour guide JessI would highly recommend this 3 hour tour. It was a really informative walk around the city seeing historic buildings and the new developments. Jess was an excellent guide and we learned so much about the history of the city. It was our first visit to Brisbane and it helped us to get our bearings for the remainder of our stay. If you are visiting for the first time it is a "must do" tourWritten 10 March 2020
- tpw2260 contributionsLearn all about old, new and emerging BRISBANEWhat a wonderful way to learn about both the history and the current development of Brisbane. Our guide Lee-Anne was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Even though we only live an hour away and have visited Brisbane often she taught us a lot. Loved discovering ‘Blu Art Xinja’, exploring the heritage buildings, Queens Wharf project and much more. Whether you are new to Brisbane or a local this tour has something new for everyone.Written 7 March 2020

Thank you Lee-Ann for showing me the beautiful art work on this 3 hour walking tour. I
enjoyed your descriptions and our little discussions about each piece. You got to know what I was interested in and made it personalized. This tour has you looking in every direction to find more art. Lee-Ann is very knowledgeable and at the end of this tour you keep looking for more art work in Brisbane. Thanks again Lee-Ann

Hi Shirley,
Thank you for your review of our Art + Design tour. It's great to hear that you kept on looking for art after the tour had finished. I am sure that you would have luck in finding other pieces; there really is so much around that we take for granted. I also hope you will be able to put some of the ideas you picked up into practice for your students.
Take care

We loved this walking tour. Brisbane is such a delight to explore and Lee-anne did a great job. The tour finished in GOMA where we spent the rest of our afternoon. Will do the City Essential tour next.

This walking tour shows you the hidden gems of art and design that proliferate the Brisbane CBD. The tour trains you to look up and down as well as at street level because Brisbane's art is in a myriad of places. Tour guide Lee-Ann has a wonderful knowledge of the works and will open your eyes to another side of the city.

Hi Annona,
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure showing you Brisbane's somewhat unknown art scene and I very much enjoyed the few hours we had together. I hope the conference dinner you attended that evening was a good night! We'd love to see you back again, maybe next time with your husband.
Take care

We started preparing our visit to Brisbane a few months in advance and looked for local guides with great expertise. It's not that easy esp if you are coming from the other part of the world and have no connections at your chosen destination. After thoughtful research I have come across WalkBrisbane and Lee-Anne - a director of the company. I must say that the way she handled all our requirements and questions was absolutely amazing! Not only was she always available to assist with advice/recommendation/response to email (despite 11 hrs difference) but she planned the tour in details taken on board all our preferences and needs. The tour was a combination of City introduction and Art/Design as we were quit limited in time. Everyone loved it, loved Lee-Anne and I recommend her agency with pleasure and confidence. If you want to fall in love with Brisbane - walk with with WalkBrisbane! Maria (UK)

Hi Maria,
What a delight it was to be able to help you plan the visit to Brisbane, and to be able to show off our beautiful city! I am so pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed it; I certainly did. The family were so engaged and interested that the time we had together flew by. A private tour like this one certainly give us the flexibility of tailoring our tour to the groups interests.
Thanks for choosing Walk Brisbane for this part of the holiday. We hope that our paths may cross again in the future.
Take care,
Lee-Anne

Hi, this art tour looks very interesting. So does the Essential Brisbane City Walking tour. Is there much redundancy in the two walks? Thanks, Vicki
Written 25 January 2019
I think you only need to book either and you will be given a very good service that includes both. We did book only the essentialwalking tour. Lee Anne the guide provided us with both knowledge - city art and landmarks.
