      Fun-filled Straddie
Absolutely loved this small group tour. Our guide James, was friendly and personable. The time really flew by with his interesting insights, joking, and animal sightings. We saw koalas, kangaroos, a swamp wallaby, sea turtles, breaching whales, dolphin, spotted eagle ray, rainbow lorikeets, pelicans, magpies, flying foxes and a variety of birds. Had a delicious prawn wrap and tasty ginger beer on tap. The ferry ride is relaxing and has nice views. So worth having someone else handle all the arrangements (and driving!)

      Amazing tour
A day tour in Queensland is a fantastic way to experience the best of what this sunny Australian state has to offer. Whether you're exploring Brisbane's lively arts scene and cozy cafés or heading into the lush Daintree Rainforest, there's something for everyone. You can visit the Great Barrier Reef for some amazing snorkeling or diving adventures. If you love wildlife, you'll get a kick out of spotting koalas, kangaroos, and a variety of birds in their natural settings. The scenic drives through the countryside, with quaint towns and stunning viewpoints, are incredibly relaxing and picturesque. All in all, a Queensland day tour is a mix of fun, relaxation, and natural beauty that both locals and visitors will enjoy.

      Amazing Day Tour!
I had such an amazing experience with Queensland Day Tours exploring Stradbroke Island! The tour showcased some of the most beautiful scenery in Queensland. The photo opportunities were endless, and the landscapes were breathtaking. Was very impressed with how knowledgeable and experienced the guides were! Will definately be booking with them again!! 🦘🦘

Excellent, well-organized tour of the Tamborine and Springbrook natural areas.
An excellent, well-organized tour of the Tamborine and Springbrook natural areas. Most of the tour is pleasant, leisurely driving through sceneric natural areas with a few stops for some easy hikes to waterfalls and other beautiful scenes. Bottled water is provided, and there are plenty of restroom opportunities along the way (be sure to bring hand sanitizer since most public bathrooms don't have soap or hot water). There is a 1.5 hour lunchtime allocation to self-explore the quaint tourist village of Mount Tamborine which offers plenty of coffee, cafes, fudge, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and arts/crafts. James is an excellent host, clearly experienced, with perfect knowledge of how to lead a pleasant and entertaining daytrip. He has an ideal personality and attitude that makes for a perfect tour guide! The only suggestion I have is to offer guests a wine tasting option as an alternative to the glow worm cave since the location offers both.

      Fabulous
The Coastal walk was absolutely stunning, a lot of stairs, but so worth it. Spotted several koalas, bats, birds, and kangaroos on the trip. The ferry ride back while watching sunset was also stunning. Highly recommend.

Steve Irwin of the rain forest
Guide was excellent. Passionate, knowledgeable, and went out his way to ensure he provided a great experience. Went off tour to show us animals in the wild including a koala, kangaroos, and wallaby. His enthusiasm for wildlife and stealth mode walking to find them reminded me of Steve Irwin. The National parks you go to are free to enter so you are paying for the guided experience and the transport. If you have a car, you can easily access the parks and hike the trails yourself but you will probably miss the wildlife as they are camouflaged well. The glow worm cave isn’t great. Hard to tell if the worms are real or just led lights. Seemed like a highly artificial environment. So the least favorite part of the day. The stops for shopping and eating are great. The guide was friendly and is local. He knows so much about the local history, about the botany, the animals, and the reptiles. Truly enjoyed his commentary throughout the trip.

My first trip through a rain forest !
It was a fun trip, Tour Guide James, was very knowledgeable and gave us interesting details about the areas around Tamborine Mountain and Spring Brook. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, though the hike through the Rain forest and Spring Brook is not handicap accessible .

      A great day out
What a great day we had!! We booked this trip on our last day before returning to the UK and we are so glad we did. We were met by James who was brilliant and made the day so enjoyable for us. He was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We saw koalas, kangaroos, dolphins surfing through the waves, eagle rays, turtles and ospreys, all in their natural environment. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

      Meh
2 hours to get there on bus and ferry. A few koalas and grey kangaroos. Two or three nice views but nothing particularly special. 2 hours to get back on bus and ferry.

This is just a road trip in an enclosed van/ mini bus. There is nothing much to see at the destination, other than a very ordinary market and a beach. Everything in the market is pricy. The beach is beautiful indeed, but then it is not worth the long road trip as you dont get any time to enjoy the beach.

The ginger factory is not a factory but just a shop with a few ginger products. Behind the shop there are some food outlets and shops but nothing more than ordinary.

The price charged is only for the ride, considering that, this trip is not at all worth the money paid. There are much better things to with the time and money you would spend on this, which is nothing but few hours of mini busride.

The guide cum bus driver, did try to make the long bus ride intresting by his commentary about verything on the way.

Hi, Thank you for sending in your Review. Seems like you really disliked it. Yes it is a bus trip, and it does go to both the Eumundi Markets and Noosa Heads which are two of our most popular Queensland destinations. You also travel through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland visiting both the Mary Cairncross Lookout with its magnificent views of the Glass House Mountains as well as the the arts and craft village of Montville. It is much more than a bus transfer and the price charged is very reasonable compared to similar tours. Our prices haven't changed for 4 years. We are sorry you didn't have a great experience. Regards Jo-Anne

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa Day Trip incl Eumundi Markets was bit disappointing. We spent a long time on the bus with short stops. Unfortunately, it was raining the day we went so we weren't able to see the views at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve as expected. In better weather we would probably have appreciated this stop more. The stop at Montville was a waste of time. We expected an artist village but the stores that were open had nothing original to see. We didn't have enough time there to explore too much so if there were orginal stores there, we couldn't find them. The Eumondi market, even in the pouring rain, was great fun. We would have been happy to spend another hour or two there. Noosa was fun (again even in the rain). But this was followed by the Ginger Factory, again viewed as a waste of time by our group. Some on the bus seemed to enjoy it though. Also, our leader, though very pleasant and knowledgable, would give information while pointing things out with an "over there" comment while everyone behind the first seat of the bus has no idea where he was pointing. So, not worth the money we spent. We wish we had rented a car for the day and had done it ourselves.

Look, this day trip does what it says on the tin. 👍. It works for some , timing wise and not for others. You would be better hiring a car and doing ur own trips. We got lucky wirh a dry day but wouldn't be nice on a wet day. This tour wasn't ideal for my teenager but suited the majority of older clients. It's a way to view a rain forest, a beach and some markets but it's a lot of bus time , a few short stops, half hr or hr at locations and the rest on motorways. Bruce was driver/ guide. Knowledge fella but I'd prefer a driver just drives and a guide guiding. Bruce wad hard to hear as his mike didn't sit well when he had it on.
Roads were busy due to a traffic collision so he made good work to make up time. Bus was small , seats tight and as the bus was fairly full some seats over wheels were most uncomfortable an passengers had to move around. Bottles of water were included on bus which was welcome.
The first stop was a pure waste of time and should be taken out of the trip and time given to other stops. Neither time for a real look around or a coffee. Itd propably a toulet stop realky. Next stop was a 20min stop at a rain forest . It was beautiful , cool ( pack a jacket) , and the views from here of the Glass mountains stunning. Bruce gave a good talk here. But we hadnt tomebto really tour the area or get local information . Next stop was Eumundi Markets (1 hr). About 300 market stalls here. And numerous eclectic food stalls. 😋 yummy selections here . Stalls had beautiful goods on sale, not as cheap as some expected but quality goods.
Next stop is noosa beach (1.5hrs) beautiful area and beach and several places burger/ fish places to eat. Some places service is very slow so watch the time. If i was to do this again I'd say bring a picnic with u and swim suit and spend the full hr and half on the beach at Noosa. Last stop was a rest stop at the Ginger factory (30 mins). I think this should be in the tour, but sadly there was just time for a ginger ice cream and a toilet run or quick run around shop. I'd have liked to do the tour here shame it's not included in the tour.

The weather was against us, with heavy rain and cloud cover preventing some views but we had a great day out and our guide, Bruce, is an absolute superstar. Definitely dart across the road to the nut factory when you stop at the ginger place. The chocolate and macadamia ice cream is delish and the girls working there are great fun.

As other reviews, Bruce was a great driver and guide. Timings were spot on and we didn't have to wait for any late passengers. My main interest was the Glasshouse mountains and Noosa. The Mary Cairncross reserve was small but gave chance for a photo of the mountains. The village stop was useful for a coffee break but seemed a little false - perhaps a regular stop off for bus tours. The Eumundi markets were huge and just had time for lunch from the many food stalls. Absolutely loved the Noosa part. We walked along the national park coast path past Boiling Pot and to Dolphin Bay then back the same way. Stunning views of the Pacific coast. Noosa Heads was very busy so glad we did the walk but that was always the plan. During a week in Brisbane, I wanted to see the Glasshouse Mountains and Noosa National Park, and this tour meant that we didn't need to hire a car - perfect whistle-stop tour.

Hi, Thank you for your Review and taking the time to be so comprehensive. What can we say you have said it all! As you say Montville really is the coffee stop on the way to Noosa and the Ginger Factory is the coffee stop on the return. We appreciate your comments. Regards Jo-Anne

I had booked a July Sunshine coast and Hinderlands tour with QD Tours a while back...We were suposed to travel from Canada to Australia for a Wedding anniversary celebration trip. Given all that's happened with Covid-19, it became apparent that we wouldn't be able to travel. While I'm stuck running after a lot of other tour operators I reserved with for booking reimbursements, QD tours was actually the only operator who pro-actively reached out to me to inform me they had to cancel the tour and would like to recollect my credit card information in order to reimburse me. Once I sent them the info, they took the time to send me a copy of the reimbursement by text message and send me good wishes...It was WAY more than I ever would of expected. The've proven they are very professional and client focused so I would not hesitate to book another tour with them if/when I'm able to travel to Australia. Great service is worth talking about so I thought it was worth writting these few words to tell you all I highly recommended them as a tour operator to book with when this hell we are all in ends! QS tours, thank you so much for making things easy!

Thank you Michael and Marie. We do appreciate you taking the time to write this "review". This is a hard time for all of us and we knew from our own experience of cancelling a planned overseas tour in May that it was not easy getting money back. Additionally we also didn't get paid by a number of travel agencies for guests who had already travelled with us. As a family company we didn't want to be seen in this light and felt anyone who had paid for a tour and now couldn't take it, should get all of their money back. Not a voucher or credit for future travel - a full refund. We have refunded all travel that was booked with us until 31 July. We also wrote to all guests booked with Travel Agents advising them their tours had been cancelled and asking them to seek full refunds from their Agents. Whilst international travellers most likely will not be back for some time, we will be open again for the domestic travellers from 1 August. We hope to see you one day and again thank you very much for the fine words you have said about us. King regards Brian

If you don't have much time in Brisbane and the surrounding areas I think this tour is really good. Its smaller groups than some other tours and most other people are traveling in pairs or solo. The tour takes you to some key spots, my favorite being Noosa beach, allowing you to fit a lot into a single day.

The guide/driver is very knowledgeable of all the places visited, providing interesting commentary along the way.

I would have liked more time at Noosa and an extra 10mins at the ginger factory so there's time to eat an ice cream and have a quick look around. However, fitting so much into one day is tricky and only gives limited stopping times!

Overall, I really enjoyed my trip and it meant I got to see a lot more of Queensland than I would have otherwise!

Great day out, Bruce was a brilliant driver and guide.Very friendly and approachable. The day was a perfect taste of the Sunshine Coast giving a general overview, we are happy to have taken the trip and will return to this part of Queensland to spend more time in the places we passed by that we really found interesting. The Eumundi market was a highlight. Noosa was where we found a cafe for lunch. The Ginger Factory was a place to stop at on the way back to break the journey up. The goods in their store were very pricey though.

Overall, I loved it, but I would have been perfectly happy with just doing Eumundi Markets and the Ginger Factory.
Glass Mountains were irrelevant for me, and Montville, and Noosa were just ways to separate tourists from their money. I might have actually spent some if I could have spent another hour or two at the Eumundi muarkets. Could also have had lunch there, but we were limited in time. More time at the Ginger Factory so people could actually do the tour (which I've done before) would also have been nice.

A truly fabulous market set amongst beautiful trees. Lovely clothes. Lovely food and lovely people. Set out early as the market gets very busy. If you take your own transport you have to pay for parking. It’s open on Saturday and Wednesday.
