- Wander7491930 contributionsCBD Ghost tourWe went on the CBD Ghost tour with Andrew being our guide. Andrew did an amazing job of giving everyone on the tour an insight into the mysterious happenings that are part of Brisbane’s history. Looking forward to going on a cemetery tour with him on our next visit.Written 19 August 2024
- stbryanw0 contributionsCreepy and very well doneVery creepy tour with lots of very interesting stories. Also, the twins who were guiding it did a great job building atmosphere.Written 12 August 2024
- KidDocDMC0 contributionsNot a very haunted cityThe stories weren’t terribly scary or even very haunted in general. It was a nice way to spend a couple of hours in the evening and hear some stories of the city’s history. The guide was a bit soft-spoken, which made it hard to hear some the stories over the traffic and others in the street.Written 11 July 2024
- boofyp0 contributionsGhostly ExperienceThe Brisbane CBD Ghost Tour was something we immediately wanted to do as we have done it in many other cities in Australia. It’s a great way to learn about the history of Brisbane but also some of its darker side. Andrew was a very knowledgeable guide and he put plenty of character into his tales. It’s very affordable and a great way to see some of the city at night. Would definitely recommend!Written 16 June 2024

- Shendelle H0 contributionsDefinitely recommendedWe thoroughly enjoyed our night. We have done many ghost tours around Australia and overseas, and your tours always rate highly with us. We love the true life stories, the highly researched backgrounds of the ppl who are buried there. It's been a long time between drinks worth your tours. The last one we did was the last sleepover at boggo road. We would love to go back there! Last night was amazing. There was so much activity. We captured many things in photos that are very clear. Thank you for offering these tours. It's highly educational and very enjoyable.Written 31 March 2024

History fact and urban legend mixed together to give a most informative and entertaining presentation. Will now book for the crime tour. Loved all the tidbits of history of CBD Brisbane . I will never look at it the same way again. Superb fun congrats on a great walking tourWritten 21 January 2024
- Justin G0 contributionsGhost Tour No-Show, My Word vs. Theirs, 0/5 Stars + a Festive Surprise. My experience with this ghost tour and Viator (TripAdvisor) as a third-party booking site was incredibly disappointing. The tour company claimed to be at the meeting spot, but after searching for an hour, I found no one. This included running into another tour (that started from the same meeting point at the same time), and the guide from that tour confirmed they didn't see anyone from the ghost tour company around. The frustration escalated when I requested a refund, and Viator conducted their investigation in less than 24 hours, siding with the provider and deeming it my fault, insisting they had been present. Contrary to their report, I received no call from the provider, who claimed to be waiting for me for 45 minutes. It's baffling how an experienced tour company wouldn't recognize someone searching for an hour. The lack of accountability and transparency in this situation is deeply concerning. I trusted Viator to ensure a reliable and enjoyable experience, but it is my opinion that they failed. Potential customers should be cautious when relying on Viator for bookings, as their dispute resolution process appears to favour providers over customers. I give this experience a 0 out of 5 stars to caution others about the unreliability of both the ghost tour provider and Viator (TripAdvisor).Written 18 January 2024
- laurenjG4635GK0 contributions2 hours of standing for a history lessonThe tour was good but it was more of a history lesson then a scary ghost tour. More stories regarding how people died than ghost experiences had in the cemetery. Be prepared to stand in the one spot for long periods of time as the hosts speak extremely slow ( for dramatic effect ) By the end of the 2 hours people were just sitting on the road, gutter or dirt.Written 14 January 2024
- 517magdap0 contributionsA must experience, historic and well presented tour. The two young men, our guides, were exceptional in their presentation, knowledge, and care in keeping the company together and ensuring safety from marauding ghosts and walking on broken graves. Both young men spoke internationally accepted standard English and were adept at character acting when speaking as though they were characters long since buried. I consider this tour in the hands of such hosts to be a highlight of the Brisbane night.Written 7 January 2024

Vague meeting point. Boring tour guide. Barely interactive. Tour guide treated us like cattle. NOT WORTH $45
Vague meeting point. 'corner of Fredrick and mt cootha road' .. called mobile number provided and the man was extremely condescending "do you see big iron gates are you at them? You can't miss them" "are you IN the cemetery, you're not allowed to park in there there's no parking" talking over the top of me.
The 'big iron gates' were right on the corner of a big busy roundabout and did not scream 'enterance' or 'big iron gates' at all.
Boring tour guide. She spoke SO incredibly slow as if she was acting a voice. We stopped in 5 different spots. Each time for about 10minutes and she told the stories so slow and in not exaggerating when I say she spoke in this 'voice' at a speed of maybe twenty words a minute.
Tour guide treated us like cattle. Spent more time telling us where to stand than anything. We are 100% understanding of Covid guidelines however this was ridiculous.
We were made to stand away from our own household members and spread out so far that I struggled to hear anything she said.
The 'voice' coupled with her long winded stories made this tour unbearable. We had more fun between 'story stops' .
People who were strolling through on their own accord, unrelated to the tour, were enjoying themselves and it enforced that this tour was NOT worth $45 each. At all. We would've enjoyed it better researching things on our own.

Thank you for your feedback and our apologies the experience did not met your expectations. The last thing we want is for visitors to be disappointed. Our booking reminder emails provided a map link including parking and meeting location points. The Tour Coordinator has expressed that he was trying to be helpful and give you direct instructions so that you could make it to the meeting point on time and not miss the tour departure.
It sounds like the delivery of information by the guide was too slow for you. They try to "read" from visitors engagement the speed to share their knowledge. We will pass your concerns onto our tour Guide and see what we can do to improve. We take our COVID-19 Safety Plan very seriously, and our guide would have been very thorough to ensure the safety of all the guests were adhered to at all times.
Please note that admission into the cemetery is not authorised after closing times unless with authorised personnel.

Toowong Cemetery is a fascinating place with rich history. Unfortunately, the guide was not very good at telling the stories linked to this place, and the experience was not superior to going to the cemetery without said guide. We were given a little book with stories about the cemetery which was far more interesting than the tour itself. Quite a few stories covered in the book were not told as part of the tour which is a shame.
We thoroughly enjoyed other tours by this company, especially the Brisbane Ghost Tour.

Definitely not worth the $45 it cost for this tour. While the stories at the different stops were interesting the host- Natalia had the worst personality for it all. While I realise she would’ve made it part of a character for the tour it really wasn’t needed. She sounded so bored and like she didn’t want to be there. She had a runny nose that she kept wiping. So considering we are in a pandemic she shouldn’t have been there. Although we did follow social distancing rules. We were not given an opportunity to ask questions about any of the places we stopped at or any questions at all. Give a couple of minutes at each stop to ask questions once the story has been told. Would not recommend the tour. Will give the history tour a go to see if that is any better.

What a great night. Perfect clear conditions although i would have loved the ambience of a rainy, misty eve. The commentator was amazing. Well rehearsed stories embellished by his natural flair for story telling he held us engrossed for the entire time. He was funny, inclusive, safety driven and so full of knowledge. I will be attending more of your tours very soon.

We arrived at Toowong Cemetery to be greeted warmly by Andrew and commenced an entertaining and informative two hour tour. The approximately thirty included family and friendship groups of varied ages, and couples like us. The walk was full of historical facts shared with humour and an expert dramatic touch. I recommend the tour for an out of the ordinary night out of fun, local historical snippets, photo opportunities and a gentle walk. Andrew and his first time guide True were just great, and kept the group engaged and on the right paths! Thank you!
If attending, please remember to wear appropriate footwear for uneven ground, and also be aware there are a couple decent inclines that you can take a your pace.

Not our first spectral rodeo with the company - and although we've loved every tour, this was by far the best. Andrew was our guide for the night and he was just brilliant. He had an obvious love and enthusiasm for the cemetery and its history, he was authoritative and personable, and incorporated the perfect proportions of drama and humour. It was a rainy evening, where the cloud cover meant the moon lit up the cemetery beautifully. I don't think the showers upset or deterred any of our group's enjoyment or engagement at all. Andrew held everyone's attention and we didn't feel rushed at all. Can't recommend this tour highly enough: and we're already planning which one to book next.

We did the tour last night on Friday the 13th, it was packed with about 70 plus people and it was split into two groups. The tour was on time and we had a really good group, no morons. Our guide was Andrew and he was excellent, looked the part and knew his history of the cemetery. We took our teen daughter and we’re with other friends with teens and there is no problems taking kids. We had a great night, thought it was value for money and highly recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. I half expected a tacky spooky tour, but was very impressed with how professional our tour guide was. Andrew’s voice was well projected, and he enticed us with his tales. The life history of each of the departed was extremely interesting, as were the stories associated with their current activities in Toowong cemetery. Was a great tour and it was evident that Andrew enjoys what he does.

Loved the tour, thinking, that if our tour guide stopped pausing for dramatic effect, that we may have been able to see more. I found Ipswich Cemetery and Boggo Road more exciting as the stories were quick and we were able to explore more. I personally found it long winded due to the stories being dragged out with painful dramatic effect. We may have been able to see more, if the story telling was kept dramatic but to the point. I had picnics in Toowong cemetery as a teenager and used to explore. Wish it could have been a little more fluid.
