We attended the twilight climb on a cool late December evening. Check-in required you to be fully COVID vaccinated and return no blood alcohol (via a breathalyser), both done before entering. It was the first time for the guide with our group. While confident he did have a tendency to speak quickly and turn away when issuing some instructions which was hard for my partner who has difficulty hearing when people turn their backs. The safety is excellent and at no point should you feel concerned.

At the top of the south pylon we encountered a previous group heading back. Another guide took over and regaled everyone with information. Problem is some of it was ridiculous. Claiming Mt Tibrogargan was viewable 130km away (it's 60km away) was just plain wrong and we mentioned it at the time. Also saying you could view Mt Warning in northern NSW was highly questionable given the Main Range intervenes. Entertaining banter nonetheless.

The climb proceeded well and we were afforded great views in all directions. Our guide stuck pretty much up the front talking to the front couple so we didn't get any other info that may have been imparted (we were at the rear of the procession). The sun set and the bridge lit up on red and green lights. Photos were taken at a few points along the way although there was a delay when our guide needed to consult a colleague about settings on the camera.

I recommend the climb, especially this one late in the day. Check the weather though, I don't expect it would be much fun on pouring rain.

Our children have my husband and I a gift voucher for the Story Bridge adventure climb with the extra adventure of walking the plank and bridge lean added in. Wow what an experience. I chose to do the walk the plank and was absolutely worth it even though my legs were shaking. My husband who is scared of heights was going to do the bridge lean but was unable to do it. Jason our guide was very understanding and empathetic towards him and his fear of heights. Jason was a great climb leader and Adam was very efficient booking us in and adding in extra information during the climb at the top. The photos that Jason room were fantastic and great value at $25 for all the digital prints. Highly recommend the bridge climb and if your extra adventurous add in the plank walk

Blessed that all our ducks aligned! Restrictions allowed us to visit Brisbane at the same time the bridge was celebrating its 80th birthday. The weather was perfect! A clear day with no winds, we had views from NSW to Beerwah. We took family members, including my 8 year old niece who was hesitant but guide Adam was very caring and kept checking on her. The pace and effort of the climb was good. Adams knowledge of the bridge and area was fantastic.
The only negative was the pre climb preparations as they had ran out of glasses holders and took a while to make substitutes.
The photo package was well priced and Adam was happy to take any photos we wanted on top of the bridge.
An awesome opportunity! Highly recommend.

Hi there Ree_Views1- thanks for taking the time to leave us this fantastic feedback! We are so happy to hear your Climb Leader Adam ensured you all had a fantastic time her in Brisbane on top of the Story Bridge! We understand where you're coming from about the issue with the glasses attachments and thank you for your patience before the Climb began. We have since ordered tonnes of stock to avoid this situation in the future. Thank you again for your lovely feedback and we hope to see you back again one day!

We booked about 6 months earlier for this climb, good job as they were fully booked on the day. We booked the afternoon climb, this way we started off in sunlight (which was still warm), then went to dusk and night-time when we finished. The views we got during the hours the light was fading were totally Bostin!

Our guide for the climb was brilliant and everyone was friendly and helpful, especially when it come to putting the overall on! There was 7 of us went on the climb which was a nice and friendly number, we could speak and chat with each other.

We were particularly impressed with the number of photo's we got, both group ones, scene views and personal ones, a totally Bostin time! We would definitely recommend this climb, but book early, the views are amazing as the photo's show below.

One tip though, wear a jumper under the overall as it gets very windy and cold top of the bridge. Hope you enjoy your climb.

What an incredible experience climbing the iconic Story Bridge. From the induction through to the last step of the climb safety is paramount and the climbers well being. It’s such a magnificent feeling reaching the peak of the climb and absorbing your surrounds with some really interesting history of the areas nearby. Sharnie was an amazing climb guide who looked after all her climbers extremely well. It’s a must for young and old.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide, Sharnie, was very good-humoured and knowledgeable, sharing a lot of history about the bridge and the Brisbane region in general. Seeing the whole city from the top of the bridge as the sun went down was an incredible experience, and one I won't soon forget. The photos Sharnie took during the climb will definitely help with that, and the photo package was cheaper than expected as well!

Could not recommend this higher.
We did the New Years Eve climb & saw the fireworks from the peak. I would recommend a night climb no matter the time though, the fireworks & champagne just topped off an already great night.

We completed the evening Story Bridge Adventure Climb with our tour guide, Sharnee, and could not have been more impressed by our guide herself & the experience. Sharnee did an amazing job engaging with our small group as well as being informative. We can’t recommend the experience enough & really enjoyed our time! Thanks Sharnee & team! :-)

I took my daughter for her 15th birthday. We absolutely loved it.

The guide was great with information on history of the bridge and local Brisbane historical stories. He took the group at a steady pace as walking the steps does work your legs.

Suggest to pay for the photo option as you cannot take your phone or camera and photos are great!

Highly recommend this experience!

Had a great time doing the bridge climb. Our guide Angus was fun, full of knowledge about the bridge and Brisbane history and made the experience enjoyable and relaxing. Great city views from the top. The tour goes at a pace that suits all ages and fitness so highly recommend for any age group. A great activity to do when in BrisVegas
