About the operator

- sam630 contributionsFabulous evening...Celebrating a milestone birthday..hired the catamaran as a private function. The evening was just what I hoped for. Casual atmosphere, brilliant sunset, cool breezes. All girl staff or so we thought until the very end (the chef was male). Staff were professional, friendly, and interacted so well with us. Our glasses were topped up oh so frequently. The tapas style foods are beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Gluten-free options were deemed amazing! The music was on point .. We were soon up dancing and singing the evening away. Thank you for the best evening . It surpassed my expectations.Written 30 September 2023

No one left the boat unhappy. The 20 + guests cheered the staff as we left who were not just doing an amazing job but also so genuine. I arrived with my three kids and was greeted by Zoe by my name. Obviously not many dads turn up with kids but she asked each of the kids their name and we all felt warmly welcomed. Nothing was to much trouble for the crew who balanced food on a boat with such skill and were always happy to help take that special photo. The bubbles flowed and the food was far better than I would expect from a boat galley. The cruise attracts so many positive people who want to seize life and were wonderful companions for the night. We went for a cruise for the night and came home with a night we will never forget. Simply one of the best experiences ever and the women around me all voted 10/10 for the eye candy of skipper Alex. Thank you, Alex, Zoe, Nicha and the fourth member of the crew who should have come out to take a bow for their cooking, the unnamed chef. $390 for the kids and I was well worth the cost and I would say to anyone reading this don’t go for a cheap imitation cruise if you don’t have too. This is a small business and I am so happy to write a review that will keep it going as they deserve it.

This is one of Darwin's absolute must do activities for any tourist or local.
The boat is simply amazing, the seating area for guests is located at the front of the boat and has a lot of extremely comfortable cushion chairs scattered around the deck. After 3 hours I barely wanted to get up it was so comfortable.
No experience is truly amazing without good staff, and the staff on this cruise were simply amazing. Being greeted with a first round of drinks before I could even land myself into a seat immediately got the evening off to a great start. All the staff were very friendly, kept the food and drinks flowing endlessly throughout the night, and all round just set a great mood for the cruise. Also have to say the captain had a great sense of humour, 10/10 safety demo.
The drinks for the night included an endless supply of sparkling wine as well as soft drink or water available for those who wanted something else. Beer was also available for purchase upon request. The dinner was an amazing 8 course meal of finger food bought directly to you by the friendly staff without ever having to leave the comfort of your seat.
Then there was main event, THE SUNSET! After venturing out across the bay and exploring some of the hidden areas amongst the islands, the boat was spun around to view the sun as it set over the islands. After the sunset we were met with stunning orange sky as we started heading back to the dock. Definitely a great opportunity to take some photos and staff are very happy to jump in and help you grab that memorable shot that would look great on Instagram. :)
As we headed back, we were treated to a great view of Darwin's evening skyline while food and drink were served right up to the very end... with some people even getting sneaky drink refills seconds before docking.
Overall, the experience was simply stunning. If you are in Darwin this cruise is an absolute must do activity. Even if you are not visiting Darwin, then this cruise should motivate you to come at least a little bit!

Fantastic experience
Well worth the money
Staff were very welcoming as soon as you stepped on board and didn’t stop the whole time serving food, topping up your glass and taking photos for us.
The catamaran’s capacity was 30 which was one of the reasons we chose it.
The sunset was lovely and so were the stars.
Highly recommend

Perfect - so much more than we expected! We travelled far further along the coast than expected and the sunset was glorious from the water. The staff were sensational and the delicious food and bubbly just kept coming…. Comfortable seating was set up around the deck of the catamaran and everyone had a view. Highly recommend! Thank you..

We booked this a few years ago for a special occasion and then Covid messed up plans meaning our trip to Darwin was cancelled, so I must say it felt like a somewhat long-awaited cruise. And it lived up to expectations!
Despite the title of ‘Champagne’ Sunset Sail as appears on their website, anyone can work out from the price at the time of booking that there is no ‘champagne’ involved, only fairly inexpensive sparkling wine, BUT we have NO complaints about the constant flow of that sparkling….all glasses were constantly full and it seemed like every second we looked down we were receiving a top up! Thank you! The team operates extremely efficiently and not a drop or morsel of food was spilled by the attendants as far as we could tell – very impressive! Plus, you can bring your own drinks if you want something different to sparkling wine.
We enjoyed perching at the back of the boat right at the water’s edge for part of the cruise, taking in some great scenery in a quiet part of the boat, until smokers came along and booted us out of the spot saying it was designated for them. We were pretty disappointed to find that smoking was permitted. Surely for 3 hours people can hold off!!
Other than that, we were really happy with a fun and relaxing experience with spectacular views and excellent service.

Absolutely Brilliant! I had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was an abundance of food and champagne. The music was great, all different genres. It was a lovely way to finish the evening and my stay in Darwin. Your sunsets here are breathtaking, the colours keep changing after the sun goes down, I have never seen anything like it. I would highly recommend this cruise, you will not be disappointed.

Fun fun fun from the moment you step on board to the time you get off. The Crew just constantly handed around good quality tapas food and topped up the sparkly wine. Very comfortable catamaran with lots of space. Toilet very spacious and clean. Rained a little but the crew were quick to hand round towels so we wouldn't get too wet and then mopped the floors dry so we wouldn't slip. The crew and the skipper were terrific and extremely attentive to everyone. It's now a must do for all my future visitors.

Top trip; we were fed and watered (sparkling wine) generously throughout the 3 hour trip. Good quality and thoughtful vegetarian food provided. Get there early so you can get one of the big bean bag seats; very comfortable. You don’t get a commentary of the sights as you sail but that is actually quite nice; just relax and enjoy the sunset.

Hi, are you able to cater for a vegan meal and someone (not vegan) who has a nut and shellfish allergy?
Written 3 February 2022
Could you please tell us what the menu is please? Thank you?
Written 2 August 2021
Hi, my memory won't do it justice. Lots of tasty finger food was passed around liberally, hot and cold. They also ask if there are any food allergies etc.
Bet to ask the company for a menu.
Written 5 August 2021
Let them know your dietary requirements, as they catered for my vegan diet really well. They are very accommodating but just give them advance notice. The kitchen on the boat is tiny and the food the young chef produced was incredible!
