This was a superb way to start our trip to Australia! Marco was a great host and took us to a Sydney wine merchant for a broad tasting, then to a funky brewery to a selection of beer tastes, and finally to a gin distillery for some wonderfully creative spirits. The Aussies on the tour with us made the trip since they welcomed two jet-lagged Yanks with open arms!

I booked this tour for my husbands 50th with 11 of his mates. They had an absolute ball! Andy the guide was heaps of fun, knowledgeable and very professional. My husband was so happy with this gift and said it was the best way to celebrate his big 5.0! All the wives and families caught up with the men on tour afterwards and loved hearing their stories. Highly recommended!

During our visit to Sydney, we tried a number of beers, but most from larger distribution-heavy breweries. This tour took us further away from Sydney center to try beers from much smaller breweries. On this trip, our guide took us to Atomic, Batch, and Bob Hawke Brewing. At each, we got to sample five-ish beers ranging in styles and intensities and see some behind-the-scenes action. Each location had its own vibe, and we thoroughly enjoyed all three. Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable about beers, making them, the Sydney craft scene etc. It was a great tour to experience some of the many great sources of amazing beer throughout the area.

Lovely way to spend Sunday afternoon. Learnt a lot about beer, had a nice relaxing time, would recommend for anyone who likes beer. You don't need to be a beer nut to enjoy this.

Good fun, learnt a lot of stuff, tried different beers in the context of what they were, how they were made and how they differ to other beers....overall a very good experience. Rod did a good job balancing history, technical stuff and making it enjoyable.

Awesome day visiting breweries that not only had great beers but also some history new and old! Colin, our guide, was fantastic and made this repeat visit a pure joy. Will definitely do again when I return in 5 months!!

We had a great day on the Beer and Brewery Tour. We originally wanted the Wine Beer and Spirits, but couldn't be accommodated so the Brewery Tour was offered with no extra cost. They were very helpful in organizing this for us. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I certainly enjoyed most of the beers. We had a great group of people which made it a fun day. Our lunch at the Rocks Brewery was delicious and so was the beer! Our tour guide was Colin and his knowledge of all things beer was outstanding. I now know what beers/stouts have hops and which have barley. Thank you Colin and Daves Tours for an all-round great Day.

We had a great tour with Dave (Greg) through the pubs of The Rocks. He is entertaining and very knowledgeable about both the history of the area and beer. He also went above and beyond to help me with secure a wayward package from a non-responsive Uber driver. Thanks, Greg! Would highly recommend for travelers and locals looking for a fun and informative afternoon.

Great daytrip from Sydney under the excellent control of Crystal. We visited a number of wineries and breweries, all fairly small scale producers. One of the highlights was seeing kangaroos at the first stop. The bus going back was a lot quieter as most of us slept off the excellent wines and beers. Got an excellent lunch of pizza and salad included Would recommend this company as the small group tours suit us. Thanks Again Crystal.

We had a great afternoon visiting 2 breweries and a gin distillery in Marrickville. Lots of great information about the history and techniques of brewing and distilling were shared. Plenty of choices to sample at both breweries but the gin was my favourite. Would highly recommend.

Just done the Marrickville Craft beer tour with 4 mates. Was a great afternoon visiting 3 different breweries all a short walk apart. Danielle was our "Daves tours" host and she was awesome. As a brewer herself she really knew all about the world of beer making and no question was too hard for her. Would highly recommended as great fun afternoon if you like trying new beers and learning more about beers in general. Cheers

Great afternoon out with new friends on the Marrickville brewery tour. Only 10 minutes by train from Sydney CBS. A nice choice of beers and pleasant company and an excellent guided walk from Danielle!
