About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Travel362413329400 contributionsSydney Harbour Sightseeing Cruise - AfternoonHopped on last minute with my sister on our short trip to Sydney. Firstly, having three levels was especially neat - the views were great on all levels & if you wanted to escape the chilly wind from the balcony, you can enjoy a seated view with windows you can open on the levels below! This cruise is the best way to get great photos of all of Sydney, inclduing pics of both the Opera House and bridge in one shot. Our commentator, Ron, was especially knowledgable and it was very interesting to learn about the history of Sydney - would be nice to hear a bit more about the Indigenous history though :) The complimentary snacks & tea/coffee/hot chocolate was especially handy as it was a pretty long ride (1.5 hours) - I do think it was a bit too long, but one ride is enough if it is your first time in Sydney. Recommend it for first-time tourists, keen to learn about the city and admire & capture it's amazing views!Written 27 October 2024
- Fearless679769164960 contributionsFamily lunch and cruiseMy family did a quick trip to Sydney last July and decided to take a lunch boat ride with Sydney Princess Cruises. There were plenty of food choices and they were so yum. What made the tour even greater was the amazing customer service from one of the staff, Mel. He made sure we tried all the food and even served refreshing drinks. He checked up on the guests making sure everyone's having a fabulous time. The tour guide was very informative, too. We sure had a fantastic time during the whole tour. Will definetely book another tour when we visit Sydney again.Written 25 October 2024
- buckets19690 contributionsLots of WhalesWe went on the Whale Watching tour. You depart from the Eastern Pontoon for the 4 hour tour. The food is a buffet whilst still in the harbour. Food wasn't anything amazing but filled a hole. There is tea and coffee too. The sea was very choppy and we were given a pill before embarking. We saw quite a few humpback whales with their young. The were flipping their tails and breaching the water. We also saw dolphins. A good trip but if you get seasick you might want to go on a calm day.Written 15 October 2024
- Dianebkoen0 contributionsGreat lunch on the most beautiful harbour in the world! The Sydney Harbour Luncheon Cruise - Highly recommended! We have been on the harbour many times over the years, but this luncheon cruise was special. Delicious lunch ( which was unexpected). The crew was extremely friendly and Ron, our guide, was terrific!Written 5 October 2024
- sharileim0 contributionsWhale Watching Experience of a LifetimeOur experience on both our lunchtime harbour cruise and our whale watching cruise on the weekend of September 07 & 08 was amazing. The whale watching in particular was spectacular and experiencing a whale up so close to us was incredible. Our marine biologist Ellen was a fountain of knowledge and the Skipper and Crew were absolutely awesome. Not an experience that can be replicated and something to think of for life.Written 3 October 2024
- caetanafran0 contributionsWhale and dolphin watchingVery nice boat trip, awesome views leaving the harbour as well as a good lunch! We were lucky to spot two pods of humpback whales although not that close. We saw closely a lot of dolphins! Definitely recommend it.Written 25 September 2024
- 850fionac0 contributionsA very special birthday treat with lots of wonderful views and good food but very windy! We did the Harbour Cruise with Buffet lunch on 26th February 2024. We chose that date as it was my birthday and what better way to spend your birthday than cruising around Sydney Harbour!! Overall, it was a very special day and we enjoyed seeing all the sights from a different viewpoint. One recommendation I would make to anyone interested in doing this cruise is that if you intend partaking in the buffet lunch, make sure you sit inside the boat, not outside. We sat outside - big mistake! As it was windy out on the water, much of my food ended up on the floor - it kept blowing off my fork, my water glass overturned soaking the lady sitting next to me at the table, my hat and sunglasses kept blowing off and my hair kept getting in my mouth!!! Apart from that, we enjoyed the cruise and the food itself was very tasty. Thankfully, it was a bit overcast that day which was better as we were sitting outside. Lots of wonderful and informative commentary also. I'm hoping to return to Sydney in a couple of years and would like to do this cruise again. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.Written 15 September 2024

- 932tedy0 contributionsExcellent cruise & lunchTook my parents on this cruise as the last we visited this city as a family was 24 years ago! The guide was very knowledgeable with all the landmark history and where all the famous people lived haha. I didn't expect this buffet lunch to be of such high quality!! Highly recommended!!Written 29 August 2024

- stevestoneNorwich0 contributionsFantastic afternoon. Don't miss out.My wife and I went on the Whale Watch Cruise, departing at The Eastern Pontoon, Circular Quay @ 12:15 pm. I can now go to my grave happy. I have wanted to see whales - particularly the Humpbacked - for a very long time. Today the sightings must have stretched in to the hundreds. I am a happy man. I did partake of the buffet lunch, which was perfectly adequate. In celebration I also did have some wine. The initial boat queue was a little chaotic and there was a lack of clear instructions. This was not helped by the fact that probably 95% of the passengers were from China and therefore understandably may not have followed the instructions over the tannoy. There were a number of people who were seasick, so take precautions. We saw so many wales, breaching, blowing, tail slapping etc. (and pods of dolphins too) that eventually I just sat back with a glass (or two) of wine and just took it all in, without the frenzy around me of a scramble for camera shots. One such scramble did cause my wife to lose the contents of her wine glass, which the staff replaced. Had great banter with the staff who were informative, helpful; and tolerant and could not do enough for us. The weather was warm and the sea had a low swell, the light was fantastic and the company was good. I can honestly say, one of the best experiences of my life.Written 24 August 2024

- jodyr9450 contributionsChaos!Chaotic start! Honestly they must have boarded people before, but we, and a few other couples around us were told on multiple occasions to line up in the wrong place and could see others directed elsewhere. The line to get tickets verified and then another to board the boat but everything was just a crowd of people blocking the walkway like a herd of sheep. It took over an hour to get through this process! The food (bbq lunch) was not was promised but much more akin to a cheap wedding buffet in a small town community centre. The sea was pretty rough but we love it like that and did well, however, more than half the people on board were inside with heads on tables or laying on lounges with sick bags all around. We saw a few whales multiple times and we really enjoyed that part of the trip. Coming back which takes about an hour and it was after 3 so cooling down and dun low in the sky it was too cold to stay outside but the bodies strewn everywhere inside meant there was no option to be inside. Overall disappointing.Written 6 July 2024
- Curiosity045971153430 contributionsSydney Harbor Cruise with buffet lunchEven on a cool and rainy day, the harbor cruise over lunch was fun and informative. The buffet was delicious, and there was lots of food to choose from. The prices at the bar were reasonable ($6 for a glass of champagne), and the staff were very friendly. The tour guide, Ron, provided interesting information, and he also welcomed questions. We definitely recommend this tour.Written 19 June 2024
- Mary M0 contributionsExcellent cruise and lunchFabulous. The cruise was so good. Ron’s commentary was informative and he is very knowledgeable about all things Sydney related. The staff were friendly polite and helpful. And the food was fantastic. Wonderfully flavoured rice, meat and pasta with a great variety of salads. Loved the caramel slice for dessert. Highly recommend.Written 10 June 2024
