I can’t draw or paint, but this didn’t matter one bit. Wilma is instructive, hilarious, and has a natural ability to make people feel at ease with her cheeky, witty, humour. I highly recommend this experience, and eagerly look forward to future events. Thanks Wilma, for the most fun I’ve had in ages. MichelleWritten 8 December 2022

If I were to give it one sentence I would say “Wish it was longer!” But by no means meaning that it lacked substance. Wilma aka Wonder Mama was a hoot, gave us quite a bit of cool history and info about the Oxford area as well as a bit of the history of gay Sydney. Of course the book I would have loved to have bought she wrote was sold out at the bookstore, but goes to show how good it must be. We appreciated the smaller group, was glad she wasn’t taking a break so shortly after Mardi Gras which we missed, so we booked her as soon as we found her! Enjoyed every minute!

Highly recommend Wonder Mama’s tour! It was very enjoyable for my wife who had lived in Sydney and myself who was a first time visitor.
The delivery of serious history over the course of a fun and enjoyable walk through town was perfect.
Our only regret is that we don’t have enough time to join one of Wonder Mama’s Drink & Draw classes while we are in town this time.

This is such a great way to find out more about how Oxford Street came about in obtaining it's famous name Wonder Mama provides us with so much information from the history of Mardi Gras to how Oxford Street became the hub for Sydney's LGBTi community, where to go eat & go for a drink, Oxford Streets iconic landmarks...not to mention the fantastic retail therapy that Oxford Street has to offer! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in finding out more about Oxford Street. Most of all this tour was lots of fun. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon!!

The tour by Wonder Mama was a highlight of this visit. I have been to Sydney twice before and learned so much history of our LGBTQ+ community from her. The tour went through more areas than I expected but the walk was very easy and at a comfortable pace, even in the sun and heat. The tour is for everyone so don’t be shy about signing up.

Want to learn a little more about the history of Sydney's LGBTQIA+ movement, in a fun way? So don't think twice and join Wonder Mama on this adventure. With lots of fun and good humor, she tells about the history and also the movement's struggle to win their rights... a charming and unmissable tour.

Wonder no more with Wonder Mama’s walking tour! I’ve been to Sydney a few times and was visiting with friends coming to Sydney for the first time. We all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, humor, history, and experience. This will be a must do for my future guests wanting to experience what Sydney has to offer. Listen to the streets of Oxford talk through Wonder Mama’s vast knowledge and history over the years. I was most impressed !

Wonder Mama was a delight on our tour of LGBTQ Sydney! I am honestly pleasantly surprised with how substantial this tour is. The amount of stops and information that she had along with slideshows on her iPad were quite impressive. Wonder Mama was knowledgeable and personable from start to finish! So much history! We stopped at a couple exclusive gay owned shops. Plenty of photo opportunities including our favorite one with Wonder Mama at the Rainbow Cross Walk! Do NOT miss this tour, it was well worth the time and money.

What a great tour! We had a fun time and learned so much. Going in to local businesses and learning about the recent changes was interesting as well. The waffle at the end was a delight as well. Definitely worth it!
