We had a fantastic experience with Oscar (pilot) and Brandon (ground crew) on 5th August 2023. Professional, polite and friendly. Our flight was from Sydney down to Bowral and back, stopping for a most enjoyable lunch at a winery, as part of a package. I can thoroughly recommend this company and experience.

Wow! Simply amazing tour! Cost less money for a private helicopter tour than to do the bridge climb (where they don’t let you take a camera). Once I did that math, the priority was an easy choice. Blue Sky did not disappoint. The day before our flight, we walked the coastline of Bondi beach down to the light house near Lady Beach prior to our flight. Seeing the cliffs from the edge and then later from the air was awesome.

From start to finish the Blue Mountain Eco Tour was amazing! This was a private tour for just my wife and me. We began with a 45 minute Ariel tour of the Blue Mountains. It really was majestic, by air. Then we landed for part two of the tour, a three hour trip into the bush. Our guide concentrated on geology, ecology and protecting the wilderness. Your guide may be an aboriginal elder who will concentrate on ancient customs. It’s really luck of the draw. We ended up deep in the bush where we were surrounded by kangaroo in the wild. We ate a quick picnic lunch and headed back to the helicopter. The flight back to Sydney, included spectacular views of the coastline, harbor and city. This was our favorite tour in Sydney! It’s very very expensive! But this was our only trip to Australia ever, so I splurged! it’s well worth the money.

Having never been on a helicopter before, we decided Sydney was the place to try it as we knew the views would be stunning! Our experience with Blue Sky Helicopters was mostly fine. It was easy to find information on the flight and book through the website, the staff were friendly and the once staff turned up (see below) check-in / safety briefing was done efficiently. The scenic flight itself was great. We had good weather which made for some lovely views. On the flight, the pilot pointed out various landmarks and beaches, and we all had headsets so we could talk to the pilot and ask questions. The helicopter had small windows which could be opened, which was nice as it allowed for some great photos. I would recommend Blue Sky Helicopters. The reason this is not a five star review is due to the time we were kept waiting on arrival. We arrived at our appointed time to find the office empty and locked, and the phone number went to a voicemail which didn’t take messages. It was almost 30 minutes before anyone turned up, during which we just had to wait outside and hope someone arrived. We had been really excited for this experience, and it took the shine off a little bit. We did mention the wait at the time, but the staff didn’t seem particularly interested.

It was splendid experience. The service was great. Moreover,pilot was very coperative.I would like to recommend others to ride heli from this company.

This is a must do. This company has all the 5 Star reviews for a reason. They are very professional! They make you feel so safe. If you thought Sydney was beautiful on the ground you have to see it from the air. It gives you a while different perspective that you haven't seen before. Just beautiful!

I booked a flight for a 60th birthday surprise for a friend and Blue Sky Helicopters were so easy to deal with from the booking of the trip to playing along with the surprise on the day. They really made the experience special and very memorable. My friend couldn’t wipe the smile off his face for the rest of the day. The helicopter was amazing and so was the pilot. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommend AAA+++

We were fortunate enough to find somewhere that was able to accommodate all five of us in the one helicopter and at a very reasonable price. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very cheerful, funny and articulate. Matt and Blue Sky Helicopters made the day something special we will never forget. Thanks guys!

If you think Sydney is one of the world's most dramatic and beautiful cities at ground level, then seeing it from a helicopter is an experience that can only be described as absolutely stunning. And Blue Sky Helicopters is the perfect company to 'take you there'. I booked a 3pm 'surprise flight' for my girlfriend, so that I could propose to her whilst flying over the harbour bridge (Ha! beat that bridge walkers). She said yes! - so we really were on cloud 9 as we continued our flight around the coast and over Bondi Beach. Weather was perfect, and it was breathtaking seeing from the sky all the places we have visited. Matt was a brilliant pilot, and we felt very safe for the entire duration. The booking process was simple, and the whole pre/post-flight experience was very streamlined. Highly recommend purchasing the video of your flight, which includes external and internal video plus sound. A must-do experience - whether you're a visitor or a local.
