A Great Local Experience in Sydney
Peter is an excellent guide. His friendly demeanor, his knowledge of the city, state, and country is exceptional. He personalized the tour for us and allowed us to experience more of Sydney than expected. We now have fantastic memories of our day in Sydney with Peter, and ideas for how to make the most of our additional time here. We highly recommend Peter to all Sydney visitors! An excellent representative of City Unscripted Sydney.

      Great day trip
This is a really nice nature walk. We did about 6 miles and enjoyed beautiful views of the coastline as well as the sights and sounds of the bush. We saw many lizards and an echidna! Malcolm was great, the trip to the park was easy and well organized and he was great to chat to!

Hike in to Royal National Park from Cronulla.
Our guide Ross was very knowledgeable and we had a great time hiking into the Royal National Park as far as Marley Beach. It's a somewhat rugged trip and requires a bit of stamina, but the views are fantastic. Looking forward to coming back! (One note for TripAdvisor visitors. The "what's included" items are options. Doing them all wouldn't be possible. Work out what you want to see and sort details with your host.)

A lot of exploration to do. It’s heaven if you like treasure hunting
Walked along Enmore Road and King Street exploring cafes & restaurants. Yet the most impressive store are actually the used clothes store SWOP on Enmore with major designer brands. Almost bought a nice Ferragamo jacket but it’s way TOO big for me. Shame. There are a number of record stores music lovers must go. Also has a lot of vintage shops. And can spend a day there treasure hunting As for the graffiti or wall arts, you really have to look for it at they are scattered around in the area

      Scamming
Terrible experience and a total scam. It was totally scamming, they charged me $150 for a day tour and on the allocated day that I was waiting for the information and their call, I received an email that they won’t be able to provide me anyone in Sydney so I asked for refund. it’s been more than a month that I’ve been emailing them multiple times regarding the refund, every time they’ve lying by saying there is an issue. so still haven’t got my money back.

Walking tour of Sydney with Malcolm
Malcolm was an amazing guide. He took us from the Radisson Blu Plaza to the Art Museum on the pier. Statue of William Bligh, looking at the Rocks and sandstone buildings. We walked the bridge to Dawes Point, learned about Ft. Dennison built to defend against the Russians who never came. We learned the history of the bridge and it's construction, the four economic sources for Australia and the history of Luna Park. We viewed some interesting art work as we walked along Barangaroo's new parkway and learned the aboriginal history of the area. We walkedd to Darling Quay and saw the variety of buildings and businesses there. Took the red line to the Fish Market and learned about it's history. We then retraced our steps after returning from the Fish Market and returned to the Radisson Blu. Wonderful experience from the eyes of a native!

Day Trip to Cronulla and Royal National Park
Peak was a fun guide. He conducted a TON of research before our trip and individualized our experience! What a beautiful park and an extraordinary hike—Figure 8 pools!!

      Quirky and buzzing
My son moved to Enmore, so I had a good look for a few days and enjoyed the hip and buzzing area. Lots of local small coffee shops, small international eateries from Mexican, Japanese, Vietnamese, Australian etcc. Lovely new and vintage look shops. Walk slowly as lots to take in. Street art in abundance and for the travellers on the go. Laundromats, sewing repair , iPhone iPad repair .. it’s all there. Just go to Enmore and Newtown. Newtown has a metro going right into the hub of the CBD, museums, town hall and ferries .

A Feast for Foodies in Sydney
Malcolm, our guide, met us by the ship and took us on an amazing travel experience. We went by ferry, light rail, and walking tour throughout the city. Not only did we get to see and taste much of the city we learned much about it as well. One of the definite highlights was the Fish Market. We booked this on Viator and loved it!

      An excellent morning with John
John met me at my Airbnb in Redfern and headed off on the train to Circular Quay. John shared some of the history and great places to take photos, my main reason for hiring a guide. We saw all the main sites and some out of the way places. John went above and beyond to orient me to the city.

      Best Guide Ever
I recently had the pleasure of going on an 8 hour private mostly walking tour with Cityunscripted guide Malcom and it could not have gone better. Malcolm was informative and easy going and happy to share his city with me in an enjoyable and unhurried manner. I was traveling on business so was alone and the day with Malcolm was as if I had a friend who lived in the City take me around. The price for the tour was many times less expensive than with other companies and I was able to tip generously for great service without the entire cost being excessive. This is as good as it gets

Narjis was the best tour guide! From the moment I met her, I appreciated her warm, friendly, welcoming approach. I've never done this before - especially in a new country, but she made me feel comfortable right away. We had a great time and I loved learning about Sydney and seeing it from the insider's point of view.

What an amazing and enjoyable experience - I fully recommend Narjis and City Unscripted without reservation! Thanks for making my trip special!!

Peter was great and put together a perfect itinerary to really get a sense of Sydney within just 4 hours. We did the tour on our first day, and it was the perfect way to orient ourselves with the city while we stayed for a few more days after. My wife also uses a wheelchair and Peter made sure everything we visited was accessible.

My wife and I participated in the 8 hour walking tour of Sydney, which included a ferry trip to Manly Beach. We visited all the places on the pre-arranged list, and then some. Peter was terrific (and quite entertaining). He has deep knowledge of the city and its history, and pointed out sights that most tourists would miss. He also helped us identify other places to visit if we had time on subsequent days in Sydney. To top things off, Peter led us to a pub where we had a wonderful dinner. We highly recommended City Unscripted (and Peter).

Matty met my daughter and I at our hotel. He immediately checked what we already had seen, if we had eaten, and what we were most interested in (architecture, history, art).
We saw so many hidden gems!
The hours went by quickly and we covered a lot of ground. But Matty found food, shade, sunscreen and frequent waters breaks to keep us fueled & comfortable. We only had a couple of days to enjoy this large city and we felt we did it right with City Unscripted.

Great tour of Sydney! John tailored the tour to those things we wanted to see and do. We walked 13 kilometers and saw it all, the Harbor Bridge, the Opera House, Circular Quay, Botanical Gardens, Hyde Park, the Westfield Tower, Wildlife Zoo, and retail on Market, Pitt and George Streets. It was a full and fun day!

Our tour in Sydney was great! Our guide, John, helped us to navigate the public transportation system and took us to all the places we discussed prior to arriving. He listened to what we were interested in and tailored the tour to our interests. We really enjoyed seeing the city from a local's perspective.

We had no idea this is a WALKING TOUR!. When reading the description of this tour there is one mention that uses the word “Walking”. Both my wife and I have multiple artificial joints and the last thing in the world we need to do is walk. The guide Peter Sullivan was EXCELLENT - well informed and knowledgeable about the city and its history. He was most considerate about our mobility problems..

John is a very likable person Very knowledgeable Adapts to what the customer wants and the challenges brought about In our case it was rain He structured the tour to take advantage of what to see under the current weather . Studied my reactions to certain topics and made suggestions of what options we had . He made the tour about what I wanted. Further he made suggestion of other things I might do . I give John the highest rating possible plus 5!!!!

Our guide, Olivia was very knowledgeable when showing us around. We started off by visiting the Rocks where you can also admire the Opera house to then head to Newton. We loved the place, very Bohemian/low key. Not crazy hipster as Shoreditch (in London) yet with the right amount of good eateries, independent shops and cafe.

Although we are not vegan ourselves, we try to limit the amount of meat we eat.
We loved our vegan Vietnamese lunch (Golden Lotus), and found a vegan butcher with an amazing selection of cheeses.

We had a great experience with our guide, Olivia. We had a food tour with various stops. She was knowledgeable and gave us exactly what we were looking for- an opporutnity to see not-so-popular dining establishments while getting a great lay of the land in Sydney. She was easy to talk with and answered our questions. She had a good knowledge of history and lots of insider tips on shopping and eating that we utilized for the remaineder of our trip.
