Simon was fantastic!!! He had a great deal of historical information as well as current cultural facts. He was such a pleasure as our personal guide! The star of the day was Featherdale Wildlife Refuge…this place is amazing and started as a facility that helped injured animals in the area. If you want to experience local wildlife this is it! And the crème de la creme was lunch at The Gourmet Cafe in Leura; AMAZING 5-star gourmet comfort food!

Our day with Simon was perfect. He was prompt, kind and playful with our two small children, and easily adapted the itinerary both for our children’s ability and enjoyment and to avoid inclement weather. Simon shared valuable cultural insights, we saw amazing sights and had a wonderful and engaging experience at Featherdale. Truly incredible - thank you so much!

Our family had such a wonderful time with Simon! He picked us up at our apartment in Bondi Beach and dropped us off at Manly. Some of our favorites of the day were feeding the kangaroos, watching the baby joey climb into the pouch of the Mama wallaby, and seeing the koalas up close. We liked the wild cockatoos at the local park and the views of the Blue Mountains. And Simon is so knowledgeable about his country! He explained not only the history of Australia but showed us the different neighborhoods on the way out of town. We usually plan our own itineraries but we are so glad we took this tour with Simon. A truly not to be missed day!

A private tour is a great way to see Sydney. Simon, our guide was so knowledgeable! We learned so much about Sydney and Australia. He took us through all the great neighborhoods and beautiful scenic routes. His choice of Featherdale Wildlife Park was ideal. We fed kangaroos, posed with a koala and saw so many other beautiful animals from Australia. Simon served us tea with delicious Aussie sweets (Lemingtons, yum!). I would highly recommend asking for Simon Rowley-Bates when you’re in town. You’ll really have a great time!

The sanctuary was wonderful and with Simon guiding us through, we really learned a lot. Other visitors tried to listen in because he was so knowledgeable. Simon was a terrific guide, and although we happened to go on a very cloudy day, he made the most of our day. Would love to do another tour with him

Our family of four adults had a fantastic trip with Simon. He is friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and easy to get to know. We hit all of the highlights, and he took great photos of our family in unique places. A special thank you to Simon for rearranging his personal schedule to accommodate a last -minute change of date due to a weather forecast of heavy rain on our scheduled date. By doing this, he saved our trip to Blue Mountains. We highly recommend touring with Simon.

We had an amazing time with our guide, Simon. We felt like we were old friends with Simon. He took great care of the adults and pre-teens as he showed us the beautiful blue mountains. The children enjoyed their personal encounters with the wallabies, koalas and kangaroos. Simon knows so much about Australian history and culture and bought the tour to life with all of his stories and personal ante sites. Thank you Simon for a great tour and the Aussie snack treats! I have to say, Simon was by far the best tour guide of our entire vacation. He shared so much info, was throughly enjoyable. I just loved him. He was attentive to our every need and want. He went way above and beyond to make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. I can’t say enough good things. We did tours at every stop, although they were all good..none were as good as Sidney and Simon. He made our trip amazing and I truly recommend him, we shared so many laughs and I feel like I made friend.

If you have little time and want to see it all THIS IS the tour to take. SIMON is the tour guide who is OUTSTANDING. He customized out trip to meet our time line, with our plane delys and eating. He was so knowlegeable and such a gentelman. Answered all of thousounds of questions with patience and understanding. I have traveled all over the world and have never met a better guide. The day was the highlight of our entire trip. Simon was terrific. Very interesting to listen to and very attentive to our needs. He took us to see some wonderful sights . It's a must-do excursion when you are in the Sydney area. Well worth the money.

We arrived at the cruise ship dock and Simon was on time and very helpful in loading our luggage in a very clean Mercedes van. He even had refreshments in hand. Simon was very pleasant and flexible on time as we decided to drop off our luggage at the hotel before our tour for the day. And to stop by an Hug store as we passed to visit Blue Mountain IT was evident that he knows a lot of history and willingly provided historical facts during the entire day of the tour.
