About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Freedom8134260 contributionsPerfect dayGreg adapted the journey to our needs and interests. Beautiful day in winter. I don't think we could have learned more in 9 hours. Thanks for the photos, Greg!Written 24 July 2024

- RanceC_130 contributionsOutstanding! My wife, adult daughter, her boyfriend and I recently visited Sydney. We wanted to spend time in the Blue Mountains, but didn’t want to rent a car. We also wanted to avoid the “small tours” as they seemed impersonal. We came upon the “Blue Mountains” tour with Greg at Sydney Nimble Tours. It was a private tour for only the four of us, with Greg as our guide. This was one of the best decisions of our entire 3-week trip! Before we even arrived in Australia, he asked us about our sightseeing goals. Although there are stops already listed on the website for the tour, he was very flexible and wanted the day to be exactly as we wished. He made suggestions of things to add and subtract. He also adjusted the order of our tour to optimize smaller crowds. We wanted to do some hiking, and he recommended a hike with beautiful views and incredible rock formations. Greg picked us up from our hotel. He did all the driving, telling us various interesting facts along the way. He dropped us off at Scenic World for a visit and to ride the three rides, then picked us up and continued showing us spectacular views, stopping periodically for optimal lookouts and photo ops. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at a quiet grassy area near one of the lookouts and he made us sandwiches, served with side salads and drinks. He drove us deep into the mountains and we hiked the Butterbox Trail and saw stunningly unusual ironstone rock formations. Greg knew all about the rocks and flora and told us native lore and history from the area. We stopped by the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba for a late afternoon tea on our way back to Sydney. Greg was a tour guide extraordinaire! He was so kind and knowledgeable, a safe driver, local lore storyteller, knower of plants and rocks, hiking leader, and even took great photos along the way. We have been raving about our day with him in the Blue Mountains. We all highly recommend this Blue Mountains tour!Written 8 July 2023
- I5082VKkayl0 contributionsDefinitely a 10-star tripAbout to leave Australia after many years here so we decided to go somewhere interesting, and we’re glad we chose Greg from Sydney Nimble Tours to lead the way. Not our first tour with Greg but definitely the one most worth remembering! He took us to see so many breath-taking views and opened our eyes to a whole new different side of Blue Mountains. We enjoyed his hospitality and the talks along our long drives. Definitely a 10-star trip!Written 14 March 2023
- Alipat4860 contributionsBlue Mountains and MoreGreg picked us up for a three day trip that included the Blue Mountains, Capertee which hosts the second largest canyon in the world, Lithgow and Mudgee, with lots of sightseeing along the way. Greg is such easy company, knowledgeable and very flexible with what to see and do. Lunch, drinks and snacks were all provided, so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves, which of course we did. Thanks Greg for all your hard work, we were very appreciative and can highly recommend you.Written 9 March 2023
- H4860HDgregoryg0 contributionsBlue Mountain exploringOur day in the Blue Mountains with Greg was an amazing experience. His knowledge of the best hikes and lookouts enabled us to see and experience so much. He brought a delicious picnic lunch for us to enjoy that was a very nice touch! Our group highly recommends him for a truly high level personal guide experience at a very reasonable cost! Will certainly contact Greg again when we make our way back to Australia.Written 23 January 2023

We had a very good experience visiting University of Sydney, chatucak museum, potts point, Barangaroo and surrounding. The tour worth every dollars spent- it is what has been expected. - Luvpeace7130 contributionsWill look for Greg should I visit Sydney againMy friends and I loved every part of the trip especially having Greg as our tour guide. He is the most hardworking, passionate and nicest tour guide I have met thus far. He fed us with information along the way. He carefully guided us through the trails but he set strict rules about boundaries in us taking selfie too near to the edges for our safety. He prepared simple but yummy picnic lunch for us. He took great pictures for us. So glad to have have him as our superb tour guide. The part that left a deep impression was at Lincoln's Rock. The sky was blue, the sun was setting. It was breath-taking. It was well worth the hike. So thankful for the good weather and blessed to have Greg as our guide.Written 16 September 2022
- shantinir20220 contributionsLovely trip to Blue Mountains! We highly recommend any of Greg’s tours; he went above and beyond to make our tour an enjoyable one. The tour was extremely flexible, and Greg let us spend at much time as we wanted at each site, without rushing us. He also gave us space but was always there to help or to give information whenever needed. He also helped us to take spectacular and high quality group pictures with his camera. For lunch, Greg made us sandwiches and had delicious salads, as well as cold drinks for refreshments. He also gifted us tshirts designed by himself and his family which was such a thoughtful gift! You will definitely be in safe hands with Greg— we were so glad and grateful to have had taken his tour to the Blue Mountains.Written 2 June 2022
- yemid20190 contributionsAmazing!!!Greg offered us a door to door service which made the whole tour possible as it was a raining day. Greg was very knowledgeable at what he does that he planned the journey well despite the heavy rain here and there…Greg made sure we covered a lot of places and even took us to the Zoo and waited for us to finish before dropping us back at our hotel. The lunch was also perfect. I will like to recommend Sydney Nimble tour (Greg) for anyone looking at visiting the highlights of Sydney in a day.Written 13 April 2022
- Voyager589595081330 contributionsHidden SydneyMet Greg At Kings Cross & began our tour of this old & historic part of Sydney . Loved the old houses ,elegant terraces, colonial mansion ,retro architecture & hidden little green areas. Greg was Able to give us the historical background of the buildings & some of the history of people Influential in the area. A relaxed & informal tour where we dictated the pace . Greg is a very knowledgeable guide with a dry sense of humor . Lots of fun Finished with a lunch on the shore of the harbour A great day Kate & GraemeWritten 14 May 2021
- O4agoodtime0 contributionsTo Sydney with loveAs Melbournians we have often visited Sydney but it was not until Greg took us on his Northern Beaches Tour that we really appreciated the natural beauty of the Harbour City. From Wooloomooloo to the Hawkesbury and all the beaches in between this is a magnificent tour. With morning coffee (almost as good as Melbournes) to a picnic lunch in the Ku-ring-gui National Park everything was organised to perfection. After 50 years touring the world this is one of the best private tours we have ever been on and it’s right in our own backyard.Written 17 April 2021
- Relax439289481690 contributionsOutstanding Day!We were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of this tour. We covered many, many sights, but had the flexibility to enjoy each one. Greg clearly tailors the tour to your desires, and is knowledgeable about each area.Written 24 March 2020
- walker1ann0 contributionsWe had a great tour of the Blue Mountains with GregWe spent a full day at the Blue Mountains on a tour with Greg. The Three Sisters rock formation were very fun, and the Fern Cathedral was gorgeous, but my favorite was the enormous waterfall and Greg provided a delicious lunch and we dined at the waterfall. The Blue Mountains are quite an experience. Greg customized our tour to meet exactly what we had indicated were our interests. I highly recommend the tour.Written 1 March 2020
- John M0 contributionsSydney Nimble Tours Delivers - Again!!We made a return trip to Sydney in Jan. 2020, and contacted Greg a few weeks before. He put another fabulous, customized tour together taking into account all new sights that we hadn't visited in 2019. The best summary of the overall experience is that you do not feel like a tourist, which is extremely important to us. We went swimming in a beautiful, hidden spot on a fabulous day, experienced two art galleries, relaxed in a microbrewery with all of the locals, and had a great dinners at his restaurant recommendations. It was exactly what we wanted. Greg also takes high quality photos of your trip that highlight the candid side and which you will want to keep forever. Also, be sure to ask Greg for a Sydney Nimble Tours T-shirt, which is very comfortable and has a great design. You will love the Sydney Nimble Tours experience!Written 14 January 2020

We took the Royal National Park with Greg, and it was an amazing experience. He is very nice and takes care of the customers. He rescheduled due to bad weather, at no extra cost and accommodate the itinerary to be the best possible given the weather conditions. We have visited the Symbio Wildlife park, which seems to take more consideration on animal ethics and conservation. I will totally recommend Nimble tours and will go with them again next time I visit Sydney.

An awesome walk to the wedding cake rock. It was a windy, rainy day but Greg guided us so well and helped us reach our destination. He even got delicious lunch for us. He took beautiful photographs with his DSLR camera and shared them with us! The limestone and sandstone rocks looked ethereal. Visit to the bald hills was also included in the trip. The views from the royal national park were mesmerizing. A special thanks to Greg for guiding the difficult trek to the wedding cake rock especially on such a rainy day.

It was a wonderful experience, where we enjoyed incredible landscapes.
Our guide (Greg) picked us up directly at our hotel, and planned the day according to what we wanted to see/do. We're a family of 4 adults (parents + 2 grown up daughters)
We started by a ~2h30 walk (including all the photo breaks) on the coastal track, heading up to the wedding cake rock. Greg provided us some nice information on the geology, birds and plants around us.
After this nice walk we had a great healthy lunch that Greg prepared for us.
We then went to the Wattamolla falls, and to the Symbio Wildlife park. Greg managed to bring us there just at the time where the feeding of the koalas happened. The animal keeper also provided nice information.
We fed the kangaroos, the wallabies and the emus.
At the park closure we went to the Sea Cliff Bridge, and to the Wombarra beach. It was right at sunset, and we got really nice pictures.
Greg also took some family pictures and sent them just the day after.
Since going to the Royal National Park via public transport is close from the nightmare, that was a great opportunity for is to visit it. We highly recommend it!

We had the best time on our private tour with Greg. He was very friendly and provided so much information throughout our time with him. There were plenty of options on which area we wanted to see in the royal national park.
We were very impressed with his knowledge on hidden gems throughout the park, we managed to visit a waterfall to ourselves where we got to swim and have lovely pictures taken.Greg provided a delicious lunch which was a nice way to recover from our hike to Eagle Rock (which we highly recommend seeing!)During the tour Greg was taking amazing photos which was sent to us after the tour, we also loved the T-shirt we got. The day with Greg was the highlight of our Sydney trip, we would recommend anyone visiting Sydney to do this tour!

I had an amazing day with Greg, doing two fantastic walks, one to Eagle Rock and another to Wedding Cake rock. Amazing scenery: waves crashing on rocks, waterfalls, craggy cliffs, and rock formations. This was a perfect daytrip, not too far, a good amount of walking but not too much.
Greg was excellent as a guide: friendly, knowledgeable, easy going, eager to customize the trip to focus on what I wanted to see, and funny.
I especially appreciated him showing me off-the track spots that I wouldn't have seen myself, so I got a lot more out of it than I would have trying to do on my own.
Very highly recommended.

Many thanks Greg for a marvelleous day out to see the various landscapes of the Royal National Park and a terrific walk to Eagle Rock.
Greg pointed out so many interesting things and tailored our walk to our interests in the geology, flora and fauna of the area. He supplied a delicious lunch which we had under the trees at Governor Game Lookout...a beautiful quiet setting and ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy some of the spots I had visited as a child.
We can't recommend this tour highly enough! Greg is such a polite and attentive guide, a safe considerate driver and has a wealth of knowledge...and an obvious passion for what he does.
Thanks again Greg for a great day!

The tour of the National Park is a great complement to any trip to Sydney. The park is just over an hour's drive from Sydney and it's a world away from the skyscrapers and pricey bars! The scenery is stunning and Greg is a wonderful guide. His recommendations were all great, the day was unhurried and he made every effort to get the most out of the day for us. Highly recommended!!!

Greg is a fantastic guide. His meticulous planning for the day is superb. He offered to pick us up from our Airbnb which made the travel so much more smooth. Greg is passionate about nature and photography and this is evident in his tour. He does recommend good walking shoes and one should not slough this off…wear hiking shoes! Greg keeps a fast pace to ensure you get the most of your day so be ready to walk and hike about 8 miles. My wife and I LOVED this tour. Spend the money and enjoy your day with Greg.

It was a wonderful experience going along with Anne Maree to the Symbio Wildlife Park where we were lucky to see the cassowary. The trip continued to the Bald Hill Lookout where the view was beautiful and then a walk along the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. This was followed by a healthy lunch packed by Greg. The trip concluded with a memorable Rainforest Walk where Greg and Anne gave us informative details about the forest and then a visit to the scenic Wattamolla picnic area. Many memories made!

Sorry Jackie but I have only just discovered this question. Yes we could organise this trip for you but you do need to have reasonable walking fitness to do the bushwalk to Wedding Cake Rock. If you would like to discuss further please call 0447146741. Apologies for the delay in responding. Warm regards Greg, Sydney Nimble Tours.
