Awesome choice and a great time
Our driver Manashe was very informative, the ride to the mountains went by quickly, including a stop at the Olympic Park. The walk wit Yamandirra was a highlight, he’s very passionate about his people and we had a wonderful day. The food was excellent, the animal park was nice , all in all a superb day!

          Blue mountains aboriginal experience
Had an amazing experience at the Blue Mountains Aboriginal tour experience! Menashe was very accommodative of our dietary needs, going out of his way to assist with them. He was also a fountain of knowledge with regards to Australian culture and history. Booking with him was a seamless experience as well and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip from start to finish. The aboriginal experience with Yamandirra was spectacular as well as we learnt a lot about the different plants, Aboriginal customs and traditions. Would definitely recommend this trip for those looking for an immersive cultural and natural experience

          Beautiful Views, AMAZING INSIGHTS
There are dozens of companies who will drive you to the visitor center and walk the path with you - this experience is not that. Yamandirra took us through not just the landscape, but also the biology, the history, and the rich cultural chronicle of this area. We did more than learn the names of the plants and animals. We got an understanding of the people who lived here for (at least) 50,000 years before everything we consider "history" happened. We got a glimpse into how those people lived with those plants and animals, how they worked the very geology into their lore and then used that lore to guide the daily lives, including the ones still living there today. It's not possible to put into a few sentences of an internet review how deeply thoughtful, educational, and inspiring this experience was. You didn't just leave thinking about the land, and its people. You left thinking about your own ways and your own priorities. Menashe, thank you for your hospitality, warmth, humor, and care for our group. But thank you especially for introducing us to Yamandirra.

Such a great experience. I learned so much, saw so many beautiful sights and gained a new respect and understanding of the culture and nature. Thank you to both Yamandirrra and Menashe for an unforgettable day.

Brilliant Blue mountains day with amazing Aboriginal experience
Myself and my daughter experienced this amazing day together. First time for both of us seeing the blue mountains. First of all I would like to compliment Maneshe our driver and tour guide for his knowledge and history of Sydney, the aborigine people and the blue mountains, he made the whole experience both informative and fun. The food stops were really good, fresh scones and coffee in a gorgeous homely cafe and proper pies and sides for lunch. Thank you Maneshe. Yamandirrra our Aboriginal guide for the Aboriginal experience was quite simply phenomenal: Interesting, honest, insightful, fun, unique. His knowledge about the land and vegetation was so interesting and he was so generous to share this with us. It certainly made me think about the land and the world around us and how if we worked together and respected this world much more what a better place it would be. Thank you Yamandirrra for opening our eyes about your culture in just a small way today, I'm sure we could have learned so much more from you if we had more time but what we have learned we will never forget. The animal park on the way back was lovely and I had my first experience of seeing koalas, kangaroos, wallaby's and ostriches. Such beautiful creatures all of them. I would recommend this tour to anyone of any age and if you want an authentic Aboriginal experience this is definitely the tour for you.

Our guide went above and beyond! I injured my hip and he picked us up - out of the way, He modified our tour so I could participate. Plus he was a great guide. Menashe was knowledgeable and helpful. The Featherdale park was great, too! Thank you!

One of the Best Tours-- Aboriginal Experience
One of the best tours I have been on. Very informative about Aboriginal people and the history of the Blue Mountains. Driver and native guide were both excellent, responsive to all questions. ON morning drive, we stopped at Dolly's Donuts for an excellent snack. Would highly recommend this tour to all people visiting Sydney

          Awesome Aboriginal Experience.
We enjoyed learning about the culture and history of the area from Manosh, the van driver and owner of the company. We had a small group of five in a very comfortable van. Being with an indigenous gentleman on a walk through the rain forest was amazing. The culture intriging.

          Amazing Blue Mountains Tour
Our tour of the Blue Mountains was a fantastic experience. Danny, our guide from Runaway Tours, was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable; he provided so many great insights and anecdotes and was thoroughly entertaining. He seemed to customize our tour, getting us unique views and perspectives of the highlights of the Blue Mountains. We had a tour that very few experience. Thank you, Danny, for providing us a lifelong memory.

          Blue Mountains with fresh eyes
A trip never to be missed, Menache creates a from-the-heart tour experience. He creates a sense of wonder and deep respect and sensitivity for the indigenous people and their culture with his "brother-from-another-mother." It builds curiosity and a yearning to learn more. My husband and I are so happy to make this trip. Yum food plans too!

One of the most informative and important tours we have every been on
My wife and 2 daughters had an amazing experience. Our tour guide was very informative, professional, and just a great guy. We did not want to do the typical "ride the ride's at the park" tour most people do when they go to Blue Mountains. We wanted to learn the history of aboriginals in Australia and boy, did we ever. Our aboriginal guide was amazing! After spending about 15 minutes with him, he felt like family and gave us a history of the aboriginal people that was amazing. He showed us so many things about nature, culture, and the story of Australia. It was truly a once in a lifetime tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic aboriginal and Australia experience.

          The Best Blue Mountain Experience
The Aboriginal experience with Yamandirra was absolutely incredible. He was informative, friendly, and provided us with a lot of stories about the indigenous people of the Blue mountains as well as the rest of Australia. I learned so much about the 7 Sisters and species of plants and animals native to the area. I didn’t want the tour to end! Our driver and tour guide, Menashe, was also top notch. He made us comfortable, answered our questions, and personalized the tour. It was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour of the Blue Mountains

Four of us booked this trip through the Four Seasons Hotel where we were staying in Sydney,we were picked up in the Mini-Bus early morning at our hotel and made our way out of the city given a guided tour as we went.
Our first stop was to spot Kangaroos in the wild near to a military site where we were lucky enough to see a handful and from there we proceeded to a BBQ site where we had breakfast cooked and were able to take advantage of the toilet facilities.
After breakfast we were then driven to an area with a Waterfall and had a short walk around the area being shown the Fauna etc.,i should mention that by this point the rain was pretty heavy and waterproofs were required, which luckily we had brought with us.
We then moved on to the viewing point for the 3 Sisters but unfortunately due to the Mist cover and Rain were not at all visible, which was such a shame so we instead spent some time wandering along the various paths nearby and had a brief look around the souvenir shop and visitor centre.
During our time here we also went on the Cable Car down to a walking area where we could walk around the trail at the bottom which was quite exhilarating in the rain.Afterwards we went back up on the Cable Car and onto the train and then another Cable Car but due to the mist cover was a bit like driving blind, but an experience nonetheless.
Lunch followed in a local restaurant which was decent enough before heading off for Featherdale Wildlife Park, this was excellent and was the highlight of the day for most people, everything from Koalas and exotic Birds as well as Reptiles and even a Crocodile.
To end the day off we then headed back to the Ferry port at Parramatta for the delightful cruise back to Circular Quay to disembark.
A great day out and considering what you cover the price is very reasonable, shame about the weather but our guide who was excellent throughout and certainly kept our spirits up with his endless little stories with plenty of Aussie wit.

We had overcast weather with rain and fog throughout the day but our guide, Manash (sp?) kept our spirits up with educational conversation about Sydney, Aboriginal culture, and The Blue Mountains. We were picked up in a Sprinter bus which was spacious, clean, and included USB ports for charging mobile phones. Meals in local restaurants and fare were included on this tour, except for The Blue Mountains scenic cable way and cable car (even though we couldn't see much through the thick fog it was still fun!). Would recommend this tour to all ages and groups!

Menashe did a great job of communicating (email) regarding the trip and the pick up. Everything ran on time and was very organized. The bus has A/C and is comfortable for the driving. He has a speaker system so it was easy to hear as he narrated all along the way. He is very knowledgeable about the area and has traveled extensively so he is able to relate to many cultures and lifestyles.
The tour is very busy with so many things to see and do during the day. The walking and hiking is minimal but wear comfortable shoes. The itinerary is listed on the website and we covered it all. It's hard to imagine how beautiful the mountains are so this trip is a must if you have an extra day in Sydney. I highly recommend Menashe and Zanza tours! He did a great job and when I'm back in Sydney I will go again!

Hi Weigh, Thank you for your outstanding 5-star review! We truly appreciate your feedback and recommendation. We are thrilled to hear that Menashe did an excellent job of communicating with you prior to the trip, ensuring everything was well-organized and on schedule. The comfort of our bus, equipped with air conditioning, added to the enjoyment of the journey. Menashe's informative narrations, sharing his extensive knowledge about the area and his diverse travel experiences, enhanced the experience. The itinerary, which includes all the listed activities on our website, provides a busy and fulfilling day. While there is minimal walking and hiking involved, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for your convenience. The awe-inspiring beauty of the mountains exceeded expectations, making this trip a must-do if you have an extra day in Sydney. Menashe's ability to connect with various cultures and lifestyles, stemming from his extensive travel background, enriches the educational aspect of the tour. Menashe gave my family and I the best Blue mountain experience. Menashe’s passion and knowledge of Australian history and culture captured us all particularly for my 13 year old daughter.
The ease of entry into the parks and quick access to the activities made our day fly by.
A definite addition to the list when visiting NSW.

This was such a lovely first trip to the Blue Mountains! Menashe was an excellent tour guide.

We started the day by driving through the northern suburbs and we went to visit the Olympic Village. Then we continued driving west towards the blue mountains. We stopped in a town to have breakfast - excellent scones with cream and jam and coffee and tea.

We then continued on to the first overlook. The blue mountains truly take your breath away WOW!

We then went to the park and took the sky tram. Even as someone with a significant fear of heights the sky tram was great - a very smooth ride and unbelievable views. We then took the steepest train in the world. It’s a pretty short ride and it moves slow but wow you really feel like you’re going straight down. We then walked through the park for a while and Menashe told us about certain birds and tree and other park details. Then we took the last sky tram back to the top and left that area. I would’ve liked to stay here more and done the hour long walk but realize that was not built into the tour.

We then went to two additional lookout points for other views including a great one of the 3 Sisters. Then we went to lunch in Leura. I think the restaurant changes based on the day/dietary restrictions but we went to a Thai restaurant. Then we had about 30 minutes to walk around town. There was an excellent chocolatier in town so picked up some goodies there.

We then rode for about an hour to get to the animals. We had about an hour to walk around and see the koalas and feed kangaroos and wallaby’s.

Then when we departed Menashe gave us the option to get home via a drop off in the CBD by bus or by ferry. The ferry takes slightly longer but that’s the option I chose.

Overall I thought this was a great first tour to the blue mountains. Menashe was a kind and knowledgeable tour guide. The structure meant that we saw a lot in a short amount of time.

I would give 6 stars to this travel agency and Menashe. We were the only family who booked the trip due to the weather and yet he did not cancel the trip or transfer us to another agency. He also tailored the trip to what we could see due to the foggy weather and brought us back to view 3 sisters multiple times, so we could get a peak. Our seven year old daughter also thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour. Thanks for making the trip memorable for us.

Very well organized trip. Our guide operator, Menashe, nicely managed the whole tour and gave us enough time to enjoy some of the hot spots and chill out while hiking around Blue Mountains. Due to post Covid situation, some of the spots were closed and not operational. Nevertheless, Menashe made sure to accommodate all our requests and ensuring to get the best our of this experience. Highly recommended as a one day tour!

Our guide, Menashe Salomon, picked me up exactly on time and we only had 4 customers that day so it felt like a private tour. The bush fire smoke certainly was making the day “iffy” but as it turned out it was clear in Sydney and clear on the top of the mountains, with heavy smoke in the valleys in between, so other than making for an interesting view, it was all right for sightseeing!

He was very knowledgable about the area, the history, the facts and the legends, and the towns along the way, seeing Olympic Park, en route, for example.

We had a nice coffee stop and a sit down lunch, never feeling rushed, yet plenty of time to do and see everything including a trail hike to a waterfall viewpoint where he discussed the rocks and the plants from an Aboriginal history standpoint.

I highly recommend this tour and especially Menashe as a guide!

Menash is an awesome, humorous guide and also a great driver. With his great driving skills, we managed to always be the first to reach the different attractions and hence less crowded. And going the scenic world on a reverse route was a brilliant idea again to avoid crowd. We also managed to reach city centre early and I was delighted as more shopping can be done before shops close. Hahah! Plus point. For someone who tends to have motion sickness, his driving and the nice spacious van really makes it an ease for me!

He is also very knowledgeable and explains and shares his knowledge with us. Indeed a day well spent!

This was an extremely good experience! Got to see the best of the blue mountains and visited the zoo where you got up close to the animals and fed kangaroos. Good food was served and the tour guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable.
