We had 3 x 14 year old NRL fans who love their footy and they were amazed by the facilities. The tour was not rushed and plenty of chances to take photos. - Camper571027365240 contributionsA fulfilling experienceThe SCG, for me has always been one of those iconic grounds that I wanted to visit. So today, that was done. Was a lovely tour, a lot of trivia thrown in.... Was simply awesome to walk into and experience the dressing rooms, the ground itself and soak in that atmosphere. Will always stay in my memory. Am so glad I did this!!Written 27 July 2024

Stuart was a superb tour guide, he was extremely informative and passionate about the SCG and all its history. We got to see all different areas of the grounds including changing rooms, media and press areas. - pgc600 contributionsSCG tourThis is a fabulous tour of one of the most famous cricket grounds in the world. The tour was well organised and well presented, giving a great overview of the historical significance and the modern day stadium. The guide was great, with extensive knowledge of facts and figures and a friendly, humorous attitude. The group wasn't too big, so there was a chance to ask questions and the tour progressed at a suitable pace to take everything in and get a proper look at things. If you like cricket, don't miss this.Written 14 January 2024
- X9469RLrogerg0 contributionsA highlight of my trip to SydneyMy walking tour of the iconic SCG on Dec 23, 2023, was a highlight of my trip to Sydney. We were given access to all the key areas, including the players' dressing rooms, the press boxes, the stands, the dining areas & the Members bar. All of this built up to a walk on the hallowed turf of the SCG pitch itself. Superb. And a special thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Kaz, who shephered our group round at a leisurely pace with great patience & humour, allowing ample time for photos & questions. Another star of an overall fantastic experience which I would strongly recommend.Written 30 December 2023
- Murray Y0 contributionsSCG tourGood tour of the of the SCG. I learned a few things on the day. I’d recommend to do this. We went a bit over time which was great. I could have spent the whole day there reading all of the plaque’s and looking at the memorabilia.Written 19 November 2023
- gsclash10 contributionsThe History of the SCG in a 90 minute Tour, the incidents and the people that have made the SCGA group of 4 of us , from various non nsw states, did the scg tour last week. I can highly recommend the tour particularly for anyone with an interest in cricket. Access to the Members stand was the highlight including the players rooms. The tour guide Stuart was excellent and his banter gave us all a laugh. Do itWritten 17 November 2023
- Shaolinwill0 contributionsLoved it... Now Boxing Day.We visited the SCG on the morning of 22nd of October for the approximate 11am slot, I honestly can't remember the exact time but it's give or take 20 minutes, though the date was right. The tour guide was a lady who works in a primary school, again I can't remember the name, but the lady was fantastic. I'm 39 years old, and I was a tad excited at the prospect of walking the long room. The tour was fantastic, the stories about Yabba, the various rolls of honour, and of course the late, great Phillip Hughes. If I was back in Sydney tomorrow, I'd be booked into this tour. I'm an Irish man who loves England cricket, but while growing up and watching cricket throughout the years, despite the dislike and despise I had for various Aussie cricketers, there was always that degree of admiration for how good they were, and for me, to walk in the footsteps of those greats was absolutely fantastic. The tour had a group of kids who were on a birthday party/outing. The kids were always upto no good, but they were absolutely amazing. The knowledge of those kids and the presser they gave in the media room was amazing. If you read this, thank you, you gave us a great chuckle! Again, the tour was fantastic and I recommend it.Written 9 November 2023
- domb9120 contributionsTour did not happenWould have enjoyed it, I'm sure, and was very much looking forward to it, but THERE WAS NO TOUR ON AT THAT DATE AND TIME. It just didn't happen. No-one showed up to take the tour. I'd like a refund.Written 16 October 2023
- Galpo950 contributionsExcellent Tour with a great guideExcellent guided tour which ran slightly over the 90 minute allocated. Ron was our tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgable about the history of the ground. Ground was between AFL and cricket season so was under renovation.Written 26 September 2023

Thoroughly recommend this 90 min access all areas tour that has something for the cricket buff and also the mildly interested. Well led by the entertaining and engaging Jim Robson who guides you through all the key areas in the ground such as the pavilions, dressing rooms, media areas, with associated anecdotes and key information about the terrific history. Plenty of opportunity to take photos from the key parts of the ground, view the statues and commemorations as well as the museum that reflects all the various sports that have taken place at this historic stadium.

Another great tour which I would highly recommend to any cricket fan.
This tour has it all, starting from the museum and gift shop area which had some serious pieces of sporting history in it, too the statue promenade area with memorial statues for some greats of the game, then into the stadium dressing rooms and pitch side walk which is again a surreal experience. It was great. On top of that our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we asked.
Definitely recommend to any cricket fan! Great time

Our tour guide Ron was full of historical information about the Sydney Cricket Ground and its rise to modern-day sporting venues. We even had the opportunity to step onto the hallowed turf. Ron's commentary was insightful and friendly. We were in a small group on this day and were taken around the main areas of the grounds, including the original members areas, which thankfully has been classified national heritage. The tour was interesting and informative, and I would recommend any avid cricket fan to enjoy the 90-minute tour..its great value for money.

Our guide Stuart was incredibly knowledgable, personal and fun. He made the statutes, notice boards, changing rooms and media rooms come alive. He was brilliant at dealing with a mixed audience, many of whom were cricket die hards. He respectuflly acknowledged the role of women in cricket and other countries involvement. He was able to get us on to the pitch and enabled us watching a game after the tour was finished. He even sent us some fab photos of the members stands afterwards. We have been on a few tours, here and overseas, and Stuart as a guide was exceptional. We would recommend this tour to anyone - both visitors to
Sydney and locals!

Excellent tour. Guide was polite, courteous and her presentation and story telling/anecdotes just great. The SCG tour is for everyone; not just cricket or AFL aficionados. If one is interested in early Australian and Sydney history, then this tour is great value and will addsto your knowledge base in many ways. As a cricket and AFL follower (and sports more generally), and history, I found this tour really informative.
Highly recommended.

I am glad I took this tour while visiting Sydney. It's so nicely organised and the tour guide explained many activities that happen behind the screen to make any Cricket match enjoyable and informative. Loved the tour and would recommend it to all visitors to take up this 90 minute tour at a very reasonable price, worth every cent.

Such an amazing tour of the SCG I enjoyed it as I am a huge cricket fan and a huge Sydney Swans fan. We started our tour with our tour guide Stuart taking us to the SCG museum then we walked to the footy Away teams rooms press conference room & the Richie Benaud media centre up in the Bradman stand. Then we got to go onto the ground to take some photos, after we went into the historic members stand we went into away teams' rooms and Aussies' rooms then through the member's bar then finished our tour back in the museum.
Our tour Guide Stuart had Great knowledge telling us all of the history and stories of the SCG. I highly recommend this tour to any sporting fan will love it.
Thanks Stuart for the great tour🙌🏼

Visiting the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) was an unforgettable experience! This iconic venue, steeped in rich history, offers a glimpse into the glorious past of Australian cricket and sports culture. The guided tour was the highlight of my visit, and our guide, Stuart, was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling made the history of the SCG come alive.
To top it all off, I was lucky enough to meet Brett Lee and even saw him bowling—it was a dream come true for any cricket fan! From the historic Members Pavilion to the museum showcasing legendary memorabilia, every part of the tour was fascinating. Stuart’s passion and attention to detail ensured that every moment was engaging.

Took this tour with a friend visiting from England and both enjoyed very much. It was quite a comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour, starting in the small SCG museum and including the members' pavilion, the media centre, the teams' changing rooms, the members' bar and dining room. After about 1 and a half hours we finished back at the museum, where if they wished people were allowed to stay on for another gander. Our guide Kaz was excellent, knowledgeable, amusing and inclusive. My favourite section was the change rooms and the extraordinary story that in the old days, the Visitors (usually the English) had two changing rooms and the egalitarian Australians had just the one. No-one ever said that cricket was immune from the demands of the English class system!
