About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 822rhondao0 contributionsWonderful Experience!Gorgeous weather, wonderful guide Chris, great travel van, delicious food and wine, truly a day we will never forget! Highly recommend!Written 17 October 2024
- Tuzmd770 contributionsBest day of our trip!Scott was knowledgeable and helpful. Having the option to spend extra time in places (like stopping for chocolate and ice cream in Leura or spending extra time feeding kangaroos) made the private tour the best option for us. Would do again and would highly recommend to others.Written 2 July 2024
- 5ginnym0 contributionsAmazing DayWhat a wonderful day we had with Scott. He was so great showing us the animals at Featherdale and took great pictures and videos there and at the Blue Mountains. You should book any of his tours.Written 23 March 2024
- Robert W0 contributionsFantastic private tour interacting with animals and viewing the Blue Mountains. We had a great time at Featherdale viewing and interacting with the animals. The Blue Mountains are beautiful! We also went to other wonderful viewpoints. Scenic World also has beautiful views. Riding the train and cable cars was an added bonus. Our guide was very friendly and informative. We are very glad we chose to do a private tour with just the two of us.Written 27 February 2024
- Z9741WSwilliamc0 contributionsBest Blue Mountains tour possible! This was an amazing tour. Everything was beautiful and completely worth going. You couldn't ask for a better tour guide than Scott. He knew his stuff, was super friendly, and knew all the little ins and outs of the tour to make the most of it. This is a fully inclusive price, Scott even bought our lunch at a great bakery. Never had a tour guide actual buy our lunch before.Written 25 February 2024
- JoleneB_10110 contributionsGreat private day tourMy husband and I had a fabulous day with Scott! We went to the Blue Mountains and Featherdale and a few other stops. I loved feeding the kangaroos and have a picture with a koala. He also took the lead when we were in the Blue Mountains so he would see a snake first because I hate snakes. Luckily, we didn't see any! He took us to a small town restaurant that had the best meat pies! The town also had a chocolate shop that's worth the stop! He is very knowledgeable and entertaining. This is a small business so it doesn't have the volume of reviews but I highly recommend them over a big group tour. Thanks Scott for a memorable day!Written 3 February 2024
- B1713LIpamelac0 contributionsBEST Blue Mountains Tour!Scott was an EXCELLENT tour guide! He really made our day very enjoyable. He first took us to a great picture point of the Sydney Opera House and Bridge in the morning that we hadn't heard of. He gave us some great insight about Sydney and the sights we say throughout the day. He went above and beyond and helped guide us through Featherdale Wildlife park - he got us food for the kangaroos, gave us information about all the animals, took pictures and videos of us feeding and interacting with the animals. He took us to a great lunch spot which had delicious meat pies! We then went to Scenic World and saw amazing views of Three Sisters and other rock formations. He even took us to one of Sydney's Oldest Pubs at the end of the day - the Hero at Waterloo. We really enjoyed this tour and Scott made it even better! Definitely worth the price for what you get!!Written 13 January 2024
- vbI5275PG0 contributionsOutstanding tourWhat an amazing day with Scott!!! He greeted us at our hotel and we quickly were quickly made comfortable. Scott’s knowledge of Australia was fantastic. Our tour of the Blue Mountains and Featherdale could not have been more enjoyable. He was also the photographer so we could really enjoy the sights. I HIGHLY recommend booking with him as not only was he knowledge, he was so kind and made our journey spectacular.Written 23 December 2023
- leekU6182EX0 contributionsAmazing Day trip around Sydney and the Blue MountainsThis was a amazing day trip. Starting with being picked up at the cruise terminal by Scott. After showing us around Sydney we were off to the Featherdale Wildlife Park. It is a must see for the different animals. It was an unexpected treat to have food for the Kangaroos and having our picture taken with a koala. Then off to the Blue Mountains. We were amazed of all that was included in the tour including food to feed the animals, pictures with a Koala, lunch and all the entrance fees in the Blue Mountains. Scott even took amazing photos and videos of the trip. Overall the trip was exceptional and we highly recommend it.Written 6 November 2023
- skanary0 contributionsPerfect Day in the Blue MountainsWhat a fantastic tour of the Blue Mountains! The trip started off with a pickup at the doorstep of our hotel in a spacious comfortable SUV. We got a brief tour around Sydney with stops for pictures and some history. Next we spent some time Featherdale Animal Park feeding Kangaroos and seeing some great animals. Next, we stopped at some ridge points that gave us perfect views of the Blue Mountains and great photos. After a quick lunch we were off to Scenic World to ride gondola cars and take in panoramic shots. This tour is a MUST DO in Sydney, as Scott was the ultimate host/guide.Written 5 October 2023
- Rachele W0 contributionsMemorable private tour with knowledgeable localScott was fantastic! From the time he picked us up to the time he dropped us off, he was professional, accommodating, and eager to share his love of Sydney with us. He’s a an attentive driver; we always felt safe in his car and with him driving. He took great care to take us to fantastic scenic spots to see different views and perspectives, including the harbor bridge, opera house, skyline, beaches, navy base, historic buildings, and more. We had a delicious lunch at Bondi Beach and enjoyed a courtesy drink at 1 of 4 “oldest” pubs in Sydney. Scott shared so much history, culture, stories, and experiences with us during our day. Thank you for sharing Sydney with us.Written 19 September 2023
- Hopstick0 contributionsAn excellent day outScott was an absolutely fantastic host for this trip. For a 32C spring day we certainly had summer sun and the water provided certainly came in handy. Everything ran extremely smoothly and the contact made the night before about possible changes due to city closures was appreciated. This is a very large city and this tour was a great way to get oriented, especially, if like me, it's your first time in the area. I learned a lot from Scott - from the history of the area to fun little tid bits about certain buildings he is clearly very knowledgeable. I didn't have any particular sites I wanted to see more than others but the option to customise the day was always there. I can be a bit weary of doing solo private tours but Scott was fun and personable which really made the day go by quickly. The SUV was clean and comfortable and I felt right at home hopping in and out all day. Truly a pleasure! (Bring a hat, that sun is rough)Written 17 September 2023

- jameshQ9160PQ0 contributionsOutstanding Private TourScott was an excellent tour guide. A native Sydney sider, he knows where all of the best vantage points are around the city for photos of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. He is also a compelling story teller and provided us with many stories about life in Sydney. The drive up to the Blue Mountains was interesting and the stop at the Featherdale Animal park was a lot of fun and included feeding the animals. His vehicle was very comfortable and roomy. The day was most enjoyable and all of our expectations were exceeded. We highly recommend Scott and Sydney Private Tours.Written 15 December 2022

There was a little confusion about the initial pickup time for the tour. Viator had inaccurately listed the start time. We called the operator (Scott) and he explained that he would be there at 9am to commence the tour and he offered an apology on behalf of Viator for their listing the time inaccurately.
Our first stop was in the Botanical Gardens. We arrived prior to the onslaught of buses full of tourists and we able to enjoy serene beauty of the park. We traveled through the city and traveled outwardly. Our path lead us passed Rose and Watson bay and onto Bondi Beach. Scott, our guide and driver, gave us a brief history of Sydney and the areas through which we traveled. As we stopped in all the beautiful places, Scott gave us plenty of time thoroughly enjoy in the views and take photos.
On our way back towards the city we stopped at Steele Point. We sat on the rocks that overlook Shark Beach and Scott provided us with blueberry muffin and juice. He allowed us extra time to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waves lapping over the rocks that accompanied the breath taking view. As we travelled back we requested that Scott return to the overlook adjacent to Gap Bluff. He was more than happy to oblige our request as he had done, and continued, to do during our entire tour.
We traveled back through Sydney. We stopped and shared the "must have" pie at Harry's Cafe On Wheels. We continued on and across the bridge to the northern side of Sydney. We next stopped at Manly Beach for some more sight seeing and lunch. We were given ample time to both select and enjoy a hearty lunch at one the local restaurants facing the beach. We had made arrangements with Scott to meet after lunch. As part of our final visit to the north side of Sydney, Scott took us to North Head. It's an area that forms the northern section of the entrance to Sydney Harbor from the Pacific Ocean. Very quiet and beautiful area away from the typical tourist track.
We traveled back towards the city and Scott continued to give us in-depth information and history. We stopped at The Rocks prior to the conclusion of our tour. Scott explained the historic value of the bridge and the residences and building surrounding it.
We really enjoyed our day. A vast amount of information and history about Sydney was provided through the whole tour. Scott gave us some unique local insight about Sydney. We at no time felt rushed or hurried to meet any prescribed time schedule. I would highly recommend this tour as it gives travelers ideas of other areas of interest and beauty to visit beyond the "visitors guide". Scott is a proud Australian, excellent driver, and informed and knowledgeable tour guide.

We selected pick up at the airport as our flight arrived early in the morning and hotel check in is always in the afternoon. This tour was the perfect choice to spend our time seeing the sights and more of Sydney and afterwards being dropped off at our hotel. Julia, our guide is a local and the perfect ambassador for the city.
She was knowledgeable of the significance and history of the places we visited. We were provided suggestions for dining, shopping and other sights to visit nearby our hotel. We enjoyed our private tour and highly recommend it!
