About the operator
- Michael B00Another outstanding adventure with Chappo and his crew! This is truly an incredible experience. The word tour just doesn’t do it justice. The stories and knowledge of Australia and its history are amazing and much appreciated. You would never imagine all that beauty so close to Sydney. I’ve actually done this with them multiple times and I always love it and learn something new. Do yourself a favor and make the time to spend the day with Chappo and his crew.
- rickyk95700Best day in the mountains!Blue Mtns Day Tour was a five star experience all around! Our tour guide, Mick, and owner Chapo clearly take this as more than just a job - you can tell they love what they do, love where they live, and love sharing it with you. The tour took you up the mountains for a quick small town stop for breakfast, then right up to the Three Sisters, down to the forest floor, up and down the rides at Scenic world, another small town lunch stop, and a final stop at Featherdale Wildlife park. Mick was both funny and educational and really made the experience with his extensive knowledge of the land. Featherdale was incredible as we got to hand feed kangaroos and get up close with koalas. There are no pop up costs - your tour price includes breakfast and lunch (at real local spots, no bagged lunch here) as well as national park tickets, scenic world tickets, and Featherdale tickets. It’s really an all in one experience that you shouldn’t pass up!
- W3000OTmichellet00Wonderful tourEasy prompt pickup at our hotel, Mick was our tour guide. He pointed out historical landmarks on our way out to the mountains. When we went for breakfast Chapo, the owner met our group and introduced himself to everyone. He took time to learn our names and find out where we were all from. Breakfast was tasty and prompt. The restaurant workers were very friendly and pleasant. The mountains and parks we visited were wonderful and it was the perfect day. The group was small and intimate. We met people from around the world. 100% would recommend!
- alaneY5842JM00Very goodI had a great time took lots of photos and Sean was a great tour guide who explained everything would recommend to anyone
- Laura18-11-0000Fantastic day !Trip with my daughter to the blue Mountains tour very well organized our guide was Sean absolutely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Thank you very much to Sean for sharing with us his high knowledge about the blue Mountains and three sisters and the waterfall thank you very much for making us have a great day!!!! Hey Chapo thank you very much also to you for coming to say hello for breakfast and lunch .. !! Grazie mille !!! Laura e Giulia
- Matthew S00Best day of our tripThis was the best day of our trip to Australia. Sean was a fantastic guide and driver. His local experience was invaluable. He was funny and kind: the bud was comfortable. The experiences were great and were again enhanced by Sean’s knowledge. The Blue mountains are amazing but the native animal exhibit exceeded our expectations. Such fun to feed the kangaroos and learn about the koalas and other animals. Don’t come to Sydney without doing this tour. And ask for Sean!
- lynw84300It was our 60th Wedding Anniversary. We were last there in 1963 on our honeymoonThe views were fantastic. Meals were excellent. Bus very clean and conformable . Sean's commentary was excellent for all but especially international visitors. His care of us as elderly citizens was excellent.
- Karen c00Words can’t describe how great a day this isWow. We will remember this day always. Even before it started the team was proactive to the minute updating us on their arrival to pick us up. We stopped at a charming place for breakfast, then to the blue mountains for a couple of stops that were breathtaking. The tour included a ride on the gondola and train. Then it was off to a lovely lunch where we actually met the owner of the tour company. Both he and Sean our guide/driver were fabulous. Then it was off to Ferndale “zoo” for up close interactions with so many animals. Too many to count. A++++++!
- mike66cobra00Perhaps the best tour we have been onThe entire trip was wonderful. Sean, our guide, couldn’t have been better, more knowledgeable and patient and they include at no extra charge breakfast and lunch. Well worth taking a day
- Trip2939407804100Incredible experience! Highly worth it!!!Excellent experience all round! I went with my family and we had a wonderful day of variety. Sean was our tour guide and was funny and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend!
- Debra M00Experience of a Lifetime! This is an outstanding experience from the first contact after booking, to all the places we visited, to the final follow thru. It can be risky placing reservations online, way in advance and across the Pacific, but Chapo, owner, kept us informed via text/What’s App,and answered any concerns promptly. Amy, our driver and guide, was super efficient and stayed smiling and upbeat all day. She shared her vast knowledge of Australia with us and kept us engaged and entertained during the drives between stops. Meals were delicious and eating in local places added to the ambiance. The Blue Mountains are spectacular! Made numerous stops to take in the major sites. Had a great time at Ferndale where we got to hand feed the kangaroos! One of the best tours I’ve ever taken!
- stephanie9721900Excellent trip. Great tour guide.Great Tour. Amy was one of the best tour guides we ever had. Informative, friendly, willing to answer any and all questions. Touching the Koala and feeding the Roos was a highlight as was the trip to the blue mountains. .
- jerrypN1069CF0010/10Amazing day! Our driver/guide, Amy was top notch! Professional, informative, entertaining and very talented driver! Included breakfast and lunch meals were amazing! Highly recommend for a quick day day trip out of Sydney. From two Canadians with love!
- charmie201500Highly recommended Blue mountain tour! Worth the money and we were super satisfied!Lovely Tour! Tour guide Amy so knowledgeable! She’s fun and no dull moment while on travel to Blue Mountain. We were happy and well educated about everything in the tour. Thanks Amy! And also to Chapo, place to meet, response to messages was so quick. Easy communication to n everything. Highly recommended Blue Mountain tour and tour guides! Fully tummies with delcious food and full eyes with beautiful places we’ve visited!
- Road6092494980800Great 1 day tour to blue mountainReally enjoy this tour. Sean was a great knowledgeable local guide, fun and friendly. The tour was well setup, great places and stops to take pics. Breakfast and lunch were included and did not disappoint. Must do!

There are SO many companies out there and I cannot tell you what they offer, BUT I will tell you what you’re getting with Chapo.
Pickup / drop off your hotel or one close by
Breakfast at a cute little cafe in Glenbrook
A trip up to the Blue Mountains including a Scenic World entry and guided walk about
Lunch at Baxland
An hour or more at Featherdale with many opportunities to feed the kangaroos! 🦘
Chapo will keep you engaged the entire trip with stories and local history! You will pay a little more, but you will not have to pay a cent after. All food, fees and entries are included in your ticket price and there will not be any surprise costs!
Chapo is fantastic, you will not feel gypped and you’ll have a fabulously full day!
He’s a kind and passionate man who loves what he does, wants your trip to be something you’ll remember forever and something you’ll hopefully recommend!

Wow. What an incredibly well-organised and fun-filled day. Our tour guide Chapo regaled the group with tales from his younger years while teaching us about some lesser-known historical figures from Australia's past. It was such a unique way to run a tour and it felt so much more personal than if he simply recounted facts and figures. The hour bus ride to breakfast flew by and we were served almost immediately when we arrived. Everything was organised with military precision but somehow it never felt rushed or like we were being herded around.
The Blue Mountains are breathtaking and the tour is great value for money as it includes three rides at Scenic World and a ticket to Featherdale Wildlife Park. There are many options to tour the Blue Mountains but this is the one to go for. Thanks Chapo. Top man.

Excellent tour! The trip starts early and ends right before sundown (winter) to ensure you spend less time in traffic and lines at Scenic World.
Sean was an excellent tour guide who provided an excellent overview of the Blue Mountains, and personal touches from his vast experience living and growing up in the area.
Transportation was safe and arrived promptly at the scheduled meeting location.
Breakfast and lunch is provided with your tour fees, which is an awesome perk!
After completing all three rides at Scenic World and taking plenty of photos at the lookout points, we were provided a special tour with kangaroo feeding at the Sydney Zoo, which was special and much better than going outside of a tour group.
I went solo, but this trip would be perfect for couples, solo travelers, and families with older children. Highly recommend this company!

Chapo was a great tourist guide. He kept the group engaged and making sure everyone was well.
As described, the tour started from been picked up at your hotel and then get breakfast at a small town in the Blue Mountains.
Everything goes on schedule as Chapo mentioned from the very beginning, which helps you keep your night plans on track.
If you prefer to explorer and walk around the paths at the Blue Mountains, maybe this tour might not be a good fit for you. It worked for me even though I am an adventurer person that likes to see as many places as I can, but this tour gave me the opportunity to take a break and relaxed on this day during my visit to the Sydney area.
Perhaps, a little bit of more time to see the Blue Mountains views might be a bonus on this tour.
I highly recommend this tour and best of all, you will get the opportunity to touch a kangaroo and a koala at the Featherdale Wildlife Park, which was part of the stops on this one day tour. This park is even better than Taronga zoo from my perspective, if you are interested to see Australian animals only.
Overall, the tour was great and relaxing.
Good job Chapo!

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the minute we were dropped off back at our hotel this was one of the greatest adventures my wife and I have every enjoyed!!! First off we had a smaller group of folks 6 to be exact, Chapo made us all welcomed and set the expectations for the day clear and right up front. The drive up to the blue mountains he shared with us his passion for the history of his country which in turn made us enjoy and learn so much about Australia. Then we made our first stop and I wish I could remember the name of the place, but we had the best cup of coffee I have had in such a long time. The breakfast was absolutely delicious to boot. Then we went to the blue mountains and visited the legendary 3 sisters. We got to see them at 5 different angles. Another great adventure as I had to fight my fear of heights. We then made our way to the zoo, which was what my wife wanted to go to the most so she can pet the koalas and kangaroos. Oh I forgot he took us to find wild kangaroos as well. I just cannot tell you all how much fun and all the things we did during this wonderful day of adventure. I am running out of space so I will definitely recommend this tour to everyone who love a good adventure.

We had the best day out with Chappo. The weather was inclement but that certainly did not out a dampener on our day! We were picked up from our hotel at 7.00 am and discovered that the tour participants were just my husband Don and myself. We had Chappo to ourselves! We stopped at his hometown in the Blue Mountains for a wonderful breakfast and it was obvious from the many comments Graham received that he was one of the best! It was a privilege to spend the day with such a knowledgeable person - I don’t think there was anything he didn’t know. We then headed off to the Three Sisters but unfortunately the weather had plans to spoil our view and the mist was so thick that we couldn’t see them. Not to worry we’ll come back later said Graham. From there on in he made it his business to ensure that we would get some of the best views available to us. Chappo went above and beyond on our day out to ensure that we would not be disappointed by not seeing the Three Sisters. We went all over the place to secure amazing sights and create wonderful memories. We visited Scenic World and enjoyed a one on one historical tour of the mine and it’s workings. We stopped for lunch at Leura and then back up the mountains! We did call in again at the Three Sisters on our way home but it was still very misty and it wasn’t to be! I cannot recommend Chappo highly enough. His personality, knowledge and passion for Mountains was amazing.

I went on this full day tour with my partner and my mum and I can say it was the best tour I’ve been on. From the start, Chapo our host was in fine form giving us a full Australia history lesson as we drove up the blue mountains. The stories he has are inspiring and adds to the overall experience. The views are spectacular and with chapos experience he knew exactly where to go. The tour was never rushed and you have plenty of time to see the views and experience the rides at scenic world. The final part was a trip to featherdale an animal sanctuary were we saw all types of animals including a photo with a koala. The overall experience was brilliant and the best part was Dave with his fake cockatoo’s all lined up lol. I would highly recommend this trip and ask chapo about the kookaburra bird sounds!! This is from the Sydney Jamieson family, Donna, Ian & Kathleen

The Jamieson family 💕 I’ll never forget you. We brought your dads memory to the entire group. I’m glad you found me inspiring that’s the greatest compliment of all. You may be back home now and Australia just a memory but I know it’s the greatest memory. Oh and Dave and his cockatoos are still working hard to impress our international community. God bless you all and thanks for being a part of my story. Chapo💕

This was the highlight of our stay here in Australia. I recommend this tour for romantics, tamiles, friends actually just anyone breathing should take this tour. You will NOT be disappointed in this choice. I thought a bit pricey at first, but then when I saw everything that was included it was well worth it. So much so I tipped extra! Great memories were made today!!!

Had the most amazing, funny & memorable day with my tour guide Chappo! I joined this group tour, of the blue mountains & featherdale wildlife park, as a 23 year old solo traveller, and I was made to feel welcome instantly. The whole group were bouncing off each other within seconds. Chappo knew us all by name within minutes, and took the banter to a whole new level. He didn’t feel like a tour guide at all!!
Chappo had such a passion of both the blue mountains, and of Australia in general. His stories throughout the bus journey were touching and interesting, never got bored.
I’ve got memories to last a lifetime, and I would highly recommend the tour to solo travellers, couples, friends etc. Even without the scenery, the bus journey would’ve been worth it.
Thank you :)

This would have to be one of the best reviews ever! The biggest mistake tour guides make is not understanding and getting to know the guests. Whilst you love the stories of the mountains, indigenous and white Australia 🇦🇺 I love the stories behind the people on the bus. You are an amazing person for just 23. Thanks for this amazing review and continue to carve your special place in this world. Chapo 💕

Yes. We stopped for an hour and a half. Focus on your top animal first and then walk around to see the others. We fed kangaroos since that was our goal.

Chapo May be able to drop you off at the airport if you have a flight to catch in the same evening though 845pm may be kinda tight as the tour ends at round 6pm . Which was about the time we got back to our hotel . You can discuss the options with Chapo 👌😉.

I do not know. Our tour included breakfast. It was camping style. The tour guide's son had coffee made, and cooked fried eggs over a camp stove, served on a hamburger bun. We sat at picnic tables to eat.

Breakfast is fried eggs in a hamburger bun, and coffee. The restaurant we went to for lunch served us a salad, with a choice of fish & chips, pasta, a burger, and something else. You should probably call them.

Sorry! Just saw this question! There is a little hiking, but not a lot. You see a lot of the area in a short time. And, as in small group tours, you need to return to the group at short intervals of time not lending to long hikes.
