Lacking picture quality, poor management. 10 years ago it was great, now the experience was far from good.
Did the climb many years ago for the first time and it was much better then. This time it felt like we were rushed through it. Our guide was cool, although all pictures he took came out very weak. Some were even censored and rated as inappropriate. We talked to the manager after our climb and tried to convince her, to at least show us the pictures. Unfortunately, we were even refused to get a glimpse of them. Touching one's wife's hip is considered inappropriate, which no-one informs you of prior to the experience. To the question where they draw the line of what is considered inappropriate and what not, the manager could not give us a proper answer, which was very disappointing. This whole issue left the experience with a bad taste to it. I do advise people to not book the photo package in advance and see how you pictures come out first. Otherwise it is like buying the cat in the bag. Furthermore management needs to improve to better handle complaints, which are being resolved poorly at this point. I've done the climb twice, first time in 2015, which was awesome, this time it was sadly far from that. Still 2/5 points, because we had a funny guide and the views are still spectacular.

Great experience, but paying photo package without good photos
We did the inside walk package at twilight (19pm) which was great timing as we could see the scenery in day light, sunset and evening. The climb was present and not tiring at all as there were many stops to take in the views and catch your breath. The only complain was that the guide didn't allow us to take individual photos but I saw other groups take individual shots in addition to family. But we still need to pay additional 69$ for this photo package.

      Amazing experience
We had visited Sydney a couple of times before but had never climbed the bridge. Being in my 60's I was a little worried that I might hold the group up, but the way the climb is organised, how wrong I was. The whole experience takes about 3 hours, but the first 45mins is all concerned with preparation, training and safety, including being breathalysed ! The climb to the summit was not difficult and included stops for pictures which meant no one was ever left behind. Our guide was very good and took plenty of photos of everyone as you cannot take your own camera/phone. I am so glad we did this.

Finished climbing with a huge smile
Did the summit (3 hours), at 14:00, under good weather conditions (not cold, not too hot, and a bit windy), and our guide was the one and only- Jonnie. -Subject to this Really great experience. Time (3 hours) past very quickly. View from the summit is beautiful, and most important: the feeling- standing up there in the open air- is unreplaceable. Our guide, Jonnie, was amazing. Besides being nice and funny, she was calm and relaxing ( which is very important for that kind of activiy). In addition to all the fact, stories and anecdotes about the bridge that she told us during the climb, she made us feel very secure, in good hands, and thanks to her the level of anxiety dropped down at the very beginning. We finished the climb with a huge smile .

      An amazing experience for Sydney
Amazing experience. A must do if you’re in Sydney! Make sure you arrive early so you don’t miss your slot, there is a cafe and shop there where you can relax before the climb. All staff are super friendly and professional and are there to help you. Set up and safety takes about an hour before the climb, the climb itself around 90 minutes for the summit. The climb itself is very easy, groups of children were doing it without struggle. There are multiple water fountains along the climb and refreshing water sprays as you get higher. Our guide was Daniel and he made our experience brilliant from start to finish. Very informative, friendly and took great pictures for us during the climb. You aren’t allowed to take any items with you, so for a photo you have to buy the photos from the gift store. The prices are reasonable, but it is a shame that it isn’t included in the climb price, as the price itself it not cheap. However it is worth it. Would definitely do it again.

      Must do in Sydney
This was my second bridge climb and my son's first. We did the night climb to change it up and also so that the climb didn't interfere with our daytime sightseeing. The night climb was excellent. You really get an appreciation of Sydney's size and population of 5 million with the lights just extending out in every direction. The climb isn't cheap but they do a good job of keeping everyone safe and sound. Our guide was excellent and the winter rain held off until we were 90% done. And the gift shop seems a better value than I remember 20 years ago with prices for t-shirts and other items being on par. I couldn't replace my old polo shirt but got a nice deal on a pair of tee. I had an issue with our video not being included in the photos download but the staff fixed it within a day's time so not a problem at all.

Thrilling experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff
Having arrived about half and hour before our planned climb, we were asked if we would like to bring our tour forward and join an earlier group, which we gladly accepted. Once through, we were shown a short safety video, checked for loose items and taken through to get kitted up. Lockers were provided and we were able to take the key with us, so we knew our belongings were safe. Once kitted up - harnesses and clips to secure all the necessary climbing safety devices, we had a practice climb on some of the ladders which were inside on a sort of climb up/down wall. This was to get adjusted to the expectations and practice how to safely use the equipment. Then it was time for the climb. There was a bit of horizontal walking at a height to go from the centre to get to the actual ladder climb and there were some thinner sections and areas where height was less but as a 15 stone chap, this was not an issue for me. Once we began climbing, there were some timely stops for photos, and Amy, our guide kept us informed about the history of the bridge, the vistas and the landmarks we could see. This was done through a one way radio and headsets so we could all hear her talking. We were lucky - today was a gloriously sunny day and there was very little breeze. At no point did we feel rushed and the walk was well planned with relevant and scenic photo stops. Something some of you may want to consider is that on the way down, you need to face the ladder for safety - personally found this much safer. Having read some of the less positive reviews where people have complained about not being informed of things such as correct footwear and the photo costs being a surprise, if they had read the guidance which is advised by the company via email on having booked, they would have known about these this in advance. As a first time visitor to Australia, this is something that was on my itinerary as a must, and I would highly recommend this. If I am ever fortunate enough to return, I would definitely do the climb again - maybe a night time one?

      Amazing experience with stunning views
Had an amazing time doing this bridge climb today with a friend. We were the only ones in our group so effectively got a private climb with the instructors Kate and Ellidy. Amazing experience, Kate and Ellidy were very friendly, knowledgeable and all round great guides. The photos they took were great and well worth the purchase. Would definitely recommend to all who visit Sydney!

Why pay so much when it's free and you can take your own pics. Just a bit lower down. 🤔
You can walk, run, cycle across the bridge for free. Have a coffee in Kirribilli and walk back. You can take all the photos you want. The bridge climb is nice to have, but is it really worth the high ticket price. You are literally paying to walk over the arch with no photos allowed so they can sell you overpriced ones at the end. Don't feel like you're missing out if it is out of your price range. Walk across for free. I've done both and the walk in my own time with my own camera was way better. Dont spend on this, save for other way better experiences. Imo. X

Our first Sydney excursion and it set the bar pretty high
Definitely consider doing this if you're visiting Sydney. The views from the bridge are amazing. The staff were all fantastic and the pre-climb preparation and safety checks make you feel like you're in good hands. Your walk leader takes all the photos so you end up with great pics and get to enjoy the walk without having to think about snapping the views. We had Jack lead us on the bridge and his knowledge, name recall and stories were fantastic.

I was very nervous about this but you feel 100% safe the entire time. You change into a climb suit (it was warm the day we went so they recommend no clothes underneath), they have sizes to fit everyone.

Then you get your harness and all your other gear on before you head to the bridge. The guide stops many times on your way up the bridge so everyone can catch their breath and to take pictures so you never feel winded.

It is a well oiled machine so you will feel safe the entire time. I highly recommend.

This was a bucket list item of mine and I never thought I'd have the opportunity to actually do this as I live in the U.S. It was well worth the money! The staff is very friendly. What I liked is that we had some people who were afraid of heights and the staff was terrific in assisting them throughout this climb. First, you will be given clothing that contains your harness and carabiners and a place into which you'll change your clothing and be given a locker to hold your belongings. You will not be able to bring your camera, phone, backpack or purse -- you'll have to lock those up in the locker. Next, there's an instruction demonstration and you'll be taking part in it to ensure that you will be able to navigate the carabiners and rope to which you'll be constantly tethered, along with climbing straight up through the tunnels at the beginning and end of the climb. We were given several breaks during which the guide provided history of the bridge itself and the sights we were seeing once outside and climbing the bridge. It made the climb less daunting and more relaxing and fun. Once you reach the top the guide will take pictures and I highly recommend that you. We did the sunset climb and Mother Nature decided to cloud up our descent but our guide was still able to obtain good pictures of my sister and I. Don't hesitate to experience the climb no matter your age (except there is a minimum age of

I've always felt this attraction too expensive for what it is, and quite frankly also been a little too intimidated by the height to examine that more closely - until I was given a voucher as a gift, that is!

And mannn am I glad I did.

In fairness, we were very lucky - the weather was perfect and we somehow lucked out with the only others in our group consisting of a dad and his 13-year old (and that both of whom were delightful bridge companions).

I was surprised whilst up on the bridge that the height was not at all an issue for me. There were some parts where grilled flooring meant that looking down might unsettle some, but, for the entirety of the time on the 'rim' of the bridge itself the ground was very solid and railings sufficiently high that it really just felt like walking up some outdoor stairs.

And even then, 'stairs' is overstating it; strictly speaking there are steps, but the incline was way more gentle than I'd've anticipated. The vast majority of the activity was actually quite low exertion - there are a few key points where this is not the case, however; there are quite a few actual stairs at the start and end, several 'choke-points' to go through that require some degree of bending, and two sets of four stepped ladders (quite steep). Don't just assume any of those might prevent you, though - definitely worth talking with them.

There are lots of breaks whilst on the bridge itself; many of which for photos, whcih I'd image would for larger groups take quite some time! Note that this won't be on your own camera, though - I was annoyed by that at first as it feel a bit cheeky to forbid you from taking your own camera then to charge you for the photos they took for you, but, admit that I've come around somewhat. The reasoning was actually relatively convincing (not entirely, but still), and the number and quality of photos you get likewise exceeds what you'd ordinarily expect from an attraction photo - it does cost extra, though, which I do find a bit iffy when so much of the time is spent on taking them.

Overall though there was something really quite special about being up there on top of the bridge; peaceful, somehow.

This was an absolute highlight of our holiday. I thought I would be nervous but I was excited instead and I even looked down whilst on the top of the bridge. Everything was extremely well organised and ran like clockwork and there were so many people helping to get your equipment on and off. The guide was very good and informative and I found it fascinating to hear all the stories, especially of how the bridge climb was started.

I would absolutely recommend doing the bridge climb and the Twilight tour was worth the extra cost.

As a person who has travelled Australia extensively, this experience is the number 1 thing to do in Australia. It is also extra special to do on your birthday or any special occasion.

Don't worry about being scared of heights, so am I and with the professional staff you will do this with ease.

The views are spectacular, the safety mechanisms in place are world best practice and the quality shines through from their reception, to the gift shop, and all the staff who help you with the climb as well as the photo staff. It is not surprising millions of people have done this, and hopefully you will too.

Thanks to August at reception who offered to change my booking as I got their early, to all the staff at the gift shop and the amazing, energetic and happy people who helped with the climb from beginning to end.

Very expensive to do this in the first place, so you're thinking "once in a lifetime, it must be worth it". Not so much. Views were cool, but could've been done so much quicker. Frequent stops for each separate party in the group to get their own pictures taken. And then, you don't even get the pictures for free with your experience! You can't bring your own camera or anything up with you. This is such a scam. Too pricey of an experience for the pictures not to be included!! I was farely outraged to find that out when we finished the climb. Yeah, here, spend another $60 on this so you have something to remember it by. No thanks. All they give you is a crappy paper certificate and a lame ball cap, both of which we threw out. And to waste 3 hrs, when it could've been done in 1 if you weren't taking everyone's pictures. I will tell others visiting Sydney to skip this experience.

I travelled over from Ireland to spend time with my family who live in Melbourne. We stayed a night over in Sydney and had arranged the Sydney Summit climb for my Mum's 70th birthday. Myself and my twin are 42. We did the tour on Saturday 9th of November @ 11.45am. Check in was fast and easy. The store is well laid out with sitting areas to sit down in while you wait. They have changing rooms if you want to try on merchandise. We actually we went back the next day to get our tshirts. Glad that I made the decision to get a tshirt! If you spend over $30 they give you a tote bag! That was a nice surprise.
Our main guide was Ameer and Chris another guide came along to. I can't praise the guys enough! They were exceptional, professional and Ameer had vibrant and fun engery. He really excelled at trying to get a good buzz going. Chris was great. He was very knowledgeable and him and Ameer make a great team!
They tour itself is epic. They take care in safety measures and when I said I was a little nervous of climbing up and down the steps, Ameer put me at ease.
The views are stunning and the guides give you time to soak in the stunning views that Sydney has to offer. It was then that I had a moment to myself where It hit me, that I am in Australia 🇦🇺
I would definitely recommend this experience and encourage anyone that goes to Sydney to book this Tour. You would be lucky if you get Ameer and Chris as your guides!

Our family of four recently did the BridgeClimb (summit) in Sydney. It was a fun, safe, “once in a lifetime”experience for all of us! The staff ensures that guests are safely equipped and guided throughout the entire duration of the climb. I honestly was a little anxious prior to the climb but my fears quickly dissipated once I realized how many safeguards are in place. Physically it wasn’t strenuous for any of us including our 9 year old son. He loved every minute of it!

Our guide, Reign, was excellent! He was so kind and personable. He kept checking in on the group to ensure we were all doing okay. He was also very knowledgeable with the history of the Bridge as well as the history of the city and surrounding areas. Very impressed!

We probably wouldn’t do this again but so glad we did it. The main factor is the price which is quite steep but is worth doing at least once in your life. We did the climb at noon and by the time we reached the summit (a couple of hours later), the sun was directly over us which didn’t work too well for our photo shoot. We were all trying our best to not squint but it was very difficult for us. Nevertheless, the photos still came out decent. If I could do it again, I would’ve booked the early morning or late evening tour for better pictures though. Other than that, we had an amazing time. Whenever we visit this beautiful city, we can fondly look up and proudly state that we actually climbed to the top of the Sydney bridge! Thanks BridgeClimb and Reign for taking such good care of our family and helping us to have a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Great experience, but I felt a little jaded that they charged for photos which I feel given the price for the activity should have been included. If there are two of you the cost is around $53 and if you are in a group it is around $93-100. You are not able to take any forms of electronic equipment with you. They put you in a position where you can’t say no to having your photos taken as it is not every day you are doing something as special as this. It left a slightly salty taste in my mouth after this.

I wasn't sure about doing this as I had read that a lot of time was spent waiting around for others and having photos taken etc.
My wife persuaded me and I'm glad she did. The tour does take quite a while to prepare for but it's all about being safe and in that respect it was spot on.
The guide was friendly and funny and we could hear what she was saying through headphones. You don't have to be superfit to do this. If you can get around a castle you'll be fine.
It is a bit pricey but you can see where the money is being spent in terms of equipment and the preparation that must be involved behind the scenes. Plus the view is really good!
