Awesome trip to the Blue Mountains!
What a great tour of the Blue Mountains! Les was a fantastic guide and gave a fun commentary the whole way. Really enjoyed Sydney Zoo as it was not too big like Taronga and was easily all seen within 1.5 hours. The Scenic World part was well done as Les gave an in depth commentary of the surroundings and the story behind the 3 sisters. Overall really enjoyed the tour and would heartily recommend it to visitors of Sydney.

Memorable Trip to the Blue Mountains.
We considered visiting the Blue Mountains on our own, but we were so happy we decided to travel with Oz Travels! They picked us up in time. Les, our Tour Guide was terrific! He had all the guests laughing and mingling. We enjoyed his knowledge of the area. I really enjoyed his discussion about the ecology of the rainforest. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining! We will remember his stories. We saw the most beautiful vistas and best parts of the park. The ferry back to the CBD was full of friendly folks. It was nice to see the homes and vistas as long the river.

The Best of the Blue Mountains
One of best tours and an amazing tour guide. Les was just filled with information! He did an amazing job at keeping the group organized. The stop at the Sydney Zoo was great. It was fascinating to watch the zoo keepers trying to wrangle kangaroos to a different enclosure! We got front row seats on the Blue Mountain cable cars. The scenic railroad was an incredible experience. He took us to some amazing overlooks and water falls. The end of the trip was taking a ferry back to Sydney on the Paramatta River, floating right under the Sydney Harbor bridge. This is the best tour for the money I have ever taken. About 11 all in.

          Fantastic day !
My husband and I were unsure about taking a tour or going independently. I am so glad we chose the tour route. Les our guide was engaging, funny and incredibly knowledgeable and knew all the places we should go. Highly recommend this tour to anyone. Les was incredibly thoughtful and took all ages and abilities into account.

Amazing trip to the Blue Mountains with Grant!
Grant was an excellent tour guide! Smooth driving, friendly and great communicator throughout the journey - he shared interesting tidbits about country along the way and kept us informed on the itinerary as the day progressed. The itinerary was well thought out and efficient. We had a few moments of changing weather during the day and Grant seamlessly adjusted the order of our route to make the absolute best of our experience! He even had bird feed for a unique cockatoo encounter and umbrellas for the couple passing showers. Grant thought of it all! The entire OZ Trails experience was a highlight of our trip down south!

Fantastic way to enjoy and learn about the Blue Mountains and some Australian history!
Great overall experience and highly recommend! Nothing “dodgy” at all about this adventure. From pick up to drop off and everything in between, it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable day. Lez was our driver and guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the day super cool! Beautiful scenery and even learned some very interesting things along the way. 10 out of 10 and thanks very much!!

          Outstanding tour by Lez
The tour was excellent. We were greeted by a friendly Lez right on time who took us to the Zoo, and then showed us around various spots in the Blue Mountains. Thank you to Lez and the rest of the group for such an incredible day.

          Worth the Booking ⭐️
It was a wonderful experience. Les was our tour guide and he is a ball of energy and very informative. It wasn’t a boring tour at all. His years of experience made the tour more fun and engaging. Side story: My friend lost her visa card. And Les contacted us to return the card because he found it in the bus. A trusted person indeed. Thank you for a worth it experience with the magnificent view.

Great customer service, great itinerary and great tour guide
I had been to the Blue Mountains twice before but it was my friend's first visit to Australia. She wanted to go on all the cable cars at Scenic World while I hoped to visit lookout spots which I'd never been before (such as Wentworth Falls). So we went with Oz trails as it fulfills both of our desires, while most blue mountains day tours only do either cable cars or bushwalks. When I booked the tour online, I accidentally entered the wrong date (11 July instead of 12 July). I realised the mistake on 9 July (Sun) evening and asked them if I could change my booking at 8:30pm AEST via WhatsApp. They responded within 10 minutes, saying that they've already amended it for me. Compared with my past experiences in Australia, that was a really prompt reply. The tour itself turned out to be great. It made the most out of the day but it wasn't rushed at all. We had plenty of time to admire the view and take photos at each stop. Besides, pick-up from Central Station was at 7:45am, so it wasn't too early for us who needed to get there from outside CBD on a chilly morning. At Scenic World, our guide, Les walked with the group along the Walkway and told us a lot about the plants, the rocks and the animals there, in an entertaining way. I hadn't learnt about those fun facts before, so it definitely made my third visit to Scenic World worthwhile. At first I was a bit worried that the bushwalks would be tough for a person like me who never does any kind of exercise, and for my friend who wasn't feeling very well that day. But they turned out to be manageable for both of us and the scenery was spectacular. Les even taught us how to take nice photos of the falls with the special effects on iPhone. If you are looking for a Blue Mountains tour which takes you to the zoo, the cable cars and scenic walks in one day, I highly recommend Oz Trails.

Had a wonderful time on this tour and really made our time in Sydney! We did our tour with Les and he was absolutely brilliant - full of knowledge, enthusiasm and kept us laughing all day! We loved going into the Zoo so early - felt like having a mini private tour which you do not get everyday! Also being at scenic world and going on the steepest train in the world is not something you can say everyday! Would 100% recommend this tour and such great value for money! Thanks again Les for such an amazing day!

Not backpacker friendly. Very few other young backpackers. I booked it through Summer Travels in Sydney Central Hostel - they did not offer to show me an itinerary of the day. Do not book this trip unless you’re prepared to spend an extra almost $100 dollars to go to the zoo and Scenic World. I was disappointed that there was hardly any walking on the trails during the day, those listed on the itinerary lasted maybe 15 minutes max. When I asked the tour guide if I could do a trail instead of the Scenic World he was least helpful and suggested in a quite patronising way that it would be far too difficult. The tour company insist he was looking out for my safety despite it being a recognised route taken by several elderly people and children on a daily basis. The trail was simple and I managed it easily. He also made some quite inappropriate jokes about previous annoying tourists he’d encountered with but felt the need to mention their ethnicities/countries of origin when doing so. Seemed very inappropriate especially when considering the diversity of the people on the tour. Save the money and go yourself!

This was the best day so far in Australia. Les was our guide and he is so funny and full of "useless knowledge" so he said. But i think we were very pleased with all of his "use knowledge". The day started off with Les picking my daughter and I up in the city and right from hello he was funny. We finished picking up the rest of the folks then the adventure started. Off we go in the rain but Les kept reassuring us the rain would eventually stop which it did. The clouds rolled away after we got soaking wet haha then the sun came out and we all dried off the day was wonderful.
Les took us to all the stops as it describes he would but it just wasn't a stop it was a stop and stories of the area as this is where Les grew up. He knows the back roads and lots of great stories of his childhood growing up outside in the mountains.
If you are thinking of doing something like this trip all i can say is please do not hesitate to go. I am not sure if you can ask for Les but i hope you get him. Les is very passionate about the forest, his country, the environment and just life.
Please take $49 cash with you for the Scenic World it is worth it. Leura was a quant little village with alot of great little cafes and a great chocolate shop. Les loves chocolate by the way. Then you finish the day with a lovely river cruise back to the Harbour.
I can not recommend this day trip enough.
        Thank you Les

It was a very good tour, the sights were lovely and the guide was knowledgeable. Just a few things to be aware of though, it's a long day squashed into a little 28 seater bus. The 1 hour walk to Wentworth falls is great and amazing scenery, but it isn't really advertised that well, we enjoyed it but some people didn't have the footwear or fitness to walk for an hour. The zoo was ok, but it would be good to have a no zoo option as some people had already spent a day at another zoo. Take snacks on the bus, it's a long time until lunch. Scenic world was great and 1.5 hours there was enough. I'm glad it wasn't a busy day as we were told it can be 1.5 hours wait to get on each of the 3 rides which would make a 1.5 hour stay into a 4.5 hour nightmare. Payment for the zoo ($30) and scenic world ($54) is made to the bus driver after lunch. There is a lot of traffic on the way home at the end of the day. I'd probably hire a car next time or take the train straight to scenic world. This is not meant to be a downer but just be aware of what is involved. Don't organise any evening activities as, depending on traffic, you may not get off the ferry until 7pm

We love the group size of max 28, makes it so much easier to get the day going smoothly especially our group members this time were so punctual! The itinerary was excellent covering the Sydney Zoo, the Blue Mountain National Park and a river cruise down the Parramatta river to Circular Quay with magnificent evening views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House in addition to avoiding possible traffic jam en route back from Blue Mountain to Sydney. As equally important is our guide, Les, who is so knowledgeable in all areas. Heard so many interesting stories from him other than introducing us to the places we visited. As for the short lunch break we recommend Leura Chinese Restaurant which serves exceptionally good Chinese foods and very fast service.

What an absolutely superb day! Matt picked us up promptly in a nice coach (not a full size coach) and got us out of the Sydney with first stop being an optional trip into the zoo - of course as brits we were keen to see the koalas and kangaroos, but it was lovely, animals free roaming and a lovely calm atmosphere with not many people in as we arrived early

On to the blue mountains with a few stops on the way, we picked up pies at the bakehouse on wentworth, where my son had a kangaroo pie 😃 followed by 2 stops to look at the breathtaking views.

We took the bush walk around scenic world as I thought the cost to go on the cable car down to the forest floor was a bit steep (no pun intended as that drop really is steep), not sure if folks had to queue being part of a tour, but it was a hefty queue.

Views of the three sisters and karoomba falls was just amazing

It really was a brilliant day, Matt was a great story teller (my fav him scaring his mother with a snake as a young lad) and described the sights brilliantly

        Highly recommend

From the prompt pick up and friendly welcome from Les the tour guide to the great scenery and cruise back to Sydney harbour afterwards the whole day was very enjoyable. Les was incredibly knowledgeable and told us so much information about the history of Australia and the Blue Mountains and with some good humour thrown in! He took us off the beaten track to glimpse some wild kangaroos. Some of the lookouts and trails were closed due to the fires but Les did his best to find us good viewpoints and visibility of the key sights. We also visited Scenic World (extra cost) which was worth the extra money. The tour finished with a cruise back to Sydney which was a great way to finish the day! Would highly recommend this tour and if you have Les all the better.

        What a fantastic day out!
Don’t hesitate to book this tour.
First off, I would like to say a massive thank you to our tour guide - Les.
You made the tour even more special and provided us with such an amazing day and some great memories.
From the very beginning Les was fantastic, he wanted to make sure the day was special and we got to see as much as possible, he tailored the day with the best itinerary based on the busy peak period. We had little stop off’s along the way to look at some amazing views.
We learnt so much and his sense of humour was the icing on the cake.
We truly got the best of the best

Now the tour itself, the blue mountains are gorgeous, some really stunning views from every point.
Don’t miss out on the cable cars in scenic world, it’s such a fantastic experience getting to see the scenery from different perspectives.
You also get to visit Sydney Zoo with this tour. You don’t have to go in there’s a designated area if you don’t wish to pay to go in, but it’s worth every penny, and it’s at a discounted price with the tour. Because of the tour you get to go in before opening so you get the zoo to yourself for a little while before the general public come in.
We went to Taronga Zoo a few days before and Sydney Zoo was so much better, you can see more and it’s set out perfectly.

The river cruise on the way back is also a nice relaxing way to head back into the city with again some beautiful scenes.

If ever there is a tour where you need to read the itinerary carefully this is it!
We booked what we thought was advertised as a tour to the Blue Mountains and River Cruise.
We hadn’t noticed there was a stop at Sydney Zoo for 90 minutes, and a cable car and vehicular railway stop which added another $89 Aus to the cost. Yes these were voluntary, but apart from sitting outside the zoo for 90 mins, or sitting at a visitor centre for another 90 mins there wasn’t a lot of choice.
That being said no blame attached to our tour guide Les, who on a wet foggy day used his local knowledge to salvage something from a day when visibility was very poor.

This trip provides transport to Blue Mountain trip via "Sydney Zoo"(Which is not Tauranga Zoo). if we buy the entry tickets(A$35 bus / Guide) they will be discounted then our guide took us to a real rainforest trail it was an amazing experience around 40 mins walk to the bottom of the hill and climbing up.

Blue mountain trip again bought a ticket from bus A$55/- (SKY BUS + SKY Trolly + Stip train) total experience was worth.

Finally dropped us at Olympic Ferry Station with a return of A$ 10/- to buy ferry tickets back to the city center

Overall satisfactory and comfortable tip, by 28 seater minibus..

The Blue Mountains trip was so much fun! Our guide was Les. He was extremely knowledgable about the area and all sorts of amazing things in nature. He was right on time when picking up from the hotel and was punctual at every meeting spot. We drove up to the Sydney Zoo where you could choose if you would like to go in or not. I stayed out and was able to have a drink and something to eat at the cafe. The zoo trip was 1hr 30 minutes. We drove straight to the mountains after this, Les telling stories and sharing interesting facts for the rest of the drive. We stopped at an amazing viewpoint for around 15 minutes for a taste of what to come. We then were dropped at the town of Leura where we had some lunch and looked around a bit. Lunch isn't included in the price but the towns restaurants were reasonably priced so this wasn't an issue. We then drove on to Scenic World which was $55 for all of the activities. We did the skyrail, the skyway, the steepest train and some walkways. We had beautiful views and Les continued to be informative about the rainforest and creatures and fungi within it. At 3 we then drove to another lookout point where we saw a snake, Les handled it very well and showed us that there was nothing to be worried about. Our final stop was a brief drive through the Olympic Park as we had some extra time before the ferry. We were each given $10 as reimbursement and hopped on for a scenic sail back to Circular Quay! A long day but lots of fun and super interesting. I highly recommend!
