I have been formerly from Sydney and have been to the Blue Mountain countless times when I used to live here.
This time around, I took my teenage son for the first time to experience Blue Mountain on a package tour as a tourist.

Cat, our tour guide, was really engaging and knowledgeable. From the moment she picked us up, throughout the whole drive from Sydney to Blue Mountain and back, she shared interesting facts about Sydney, landmarks, locations, myths, and facts about a place I thought I had already known so well.

I have been to many different theme parks and touristic attractions over the years in many countries so the Ride on the Cableway, Skyway, and Scenic Railway at Scenic World are rather ordinary. What makes this very special is that our tour guide - Cat - is very interesting and knew how to tell the story well.
For this reason, not only was Cat able to delight the predominantly overseas tourists in my group, but she had impressed me and my son enormously with her style.
I think Sydneysiders should book this tour to learn more about their state so they can impress their own families and friend with their newfound knowledge about Sydney and Blue Mountain.

The 1 day tour of the Blue Mountains (incl Scenic World and Featherdale) was wonderful. I am not a fan of doing tours because I feel like everyone moves so slowly and you spend more time waiting for the rest of your group than seeing actual sites. Our guide Tash was AMAZING and kept our group moving along so we could make the most of the day. She was flexible and planned our itinerary based on the weather and our group’s interest. She was funny and informative (she admitted she didn’t know the answer to a few of our questions but made a point to find out).

For families with kids (ours was 6), this is the perfect way to get a taste of the Blue Mountains, Scenic World and Featherdale Park. It may seem expensive but when you look at the time it would take to take a train or drive yourself and figure out where everything is, it is well worth the cost. Add on the experienced tour guide and small group size, it’s definitely worth it.

P.S. we also appreciated Tash offering to take our picture. She has a great eye!

We selected this tour for it's itinerary, all inclusive rides and lunch and small group size. The van was very comfortable and the guide was really great. Robert Mason was very knowledgeable and entertaining! The timing of the tour was perfect.

It was a cloudy day and a bit rainy but even though we didn't get to see the 3 sisters, the mist really added it's own beauty. Robert took us over to the next valley and we were able to see incredible views of the canyon, and then watch the mist roll in. It was awe inspiring. We walked through a rain forest, saw waterfalls, and
The tour included 3 different fun rides (including an extremely steep railway, and entrance to a wildlife park where we hand fed the wallaby's. We even got to try throwing a boomerang!

The lunch was really yummy, between the 4 of us we sampled 3 of the different choices and all were very good. The pièce de résistance was when Robert, a former Disney animation artist, autographed a sketch of mickey mouse for our granddaughter. We ended the day with a ferry ride back to Sydney. It was a perfect day that we all enjoyed.

This was a great tour for a wide rang of ages. There were no kids on the tour but the ages ranged from 20 somethings all the way to our 82 year old mother, and all had a great time. We looked at a few cheaper tours but decided you get what you pay for, and we certainly got our money's worth with this tour!

Had a wonderful day guided by Robert who went the extra mile to ensure we got the most out of every part of our trip. The day was a lovely combination of stunning scenery and native animals, and was completed by a sunset ferry ride back to the city.
If, like me, you get chilly remember to take an extra layer into the mountains in the cooler months.

Blue Mountains - Day Trip with a fantastic tour guide - Bob

What a lovely day we had in a small group with a great tour guide Bob. Travelling across Australia with my friend we decided to visit Blue Mountains being for a few days in Sydney. The bush fires alerts were getting worse at the beginning of December 2019. We were kindly inform by tour operator via email/call that the trip plan has to be changed and then we were asked if we are still interested to take the trip. Even though we couldn't see a few attraction caused by the bush fire (pictures attached) , we had a lovely time and we were safe. Bob is an excellent driver and story teller, his knowledge about the history of Australia is impressive.
We also had a fantastic and delicious lunch together. As a group of tourists from different places all over the world we shared so many topics and experience. We all had a fantastic time.
In addition, the tour operator Anderson's Tours made a refund for changing tour plan.
I strongly recommend to book All Inclusive Blue Mountains Small-Group Day Trip from Sydney to all of you visiting Sydney.

Enjoy Australia!

I am not sure where to start because the tour is great but I had a terrible experience because of my driver so I’m torn.
The actual tour is great, worth the cost. We had perfect weather that only made it better.
The company seems very reputable and they were easy to contact regarding pick up location.
The driver we had Kat was rude, didn’t help accommodate me and my daughter to sit near each other on the bus when we were the last ones on and talked none stop without so much as a breath for an hour and forty minutes from 7:30 am until our first pit stop. She invited a gang up on me and my daughter group mentality on the bus where other passengers vocally abused us and cheered when we got off.
The second driver Mark (we were allowed to switch buses at the first stop) was an absolute delight. He provided information and shared knowledge of the area we travelled. He was professional and made an effort to acknowledge everyone on the bus throughout the day.
The management team offered me a free koala experience (valued at $25) for my humiliation and advised they would talk to Kat about her behaviour. I didn’t ask for anything and thought this was decent yet honestly not enough for the fact that their driver was mainly the problem.

Thank you for your valuable review. We are so sorry about the saddening incident that occurred, we have talked to Kat about it and it has been brought to her serious attention. We are so happy to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed the rest of the time with our awesome guide Mark, and hopefully you get to take home some lovely memories of the Aussie attractions we offer! Best wishes! Regards Anna ANDERSONS TOURS

Booked this quite late as wasn’t sure if the bush fires would impact the tour but we needn’t have worried. Apart from a bit of haze left over from the smoke in the air, we still enjoyed some spectacular views at each look out! Was such a great day from start to finish. Our guide Robert was very knowledgable and really made the day for us. The timing for everything was spot on, we had plenty of time at each stop and our pre-selected lunch was ready as soon as we arrived at the restaurant! Compared to all the individual costs of the entrance fees plus the ferry trip at the end this tour was also great value and would definitely recommend it if you’re limited for time. Only downside was we didn’t get to hear our guide Robert play his ukulele!!

The tour was exactly what we expect it to be. Robert was our tour guide and he is HILARIOUS, knowledgeable, and personable. He went over and beyond to help us all learn about the history of Sydney on top of the blue mountain tour itself with a sprinkle of humors. I loved the tour and highly recommended Robert as your tour guide.

We had a wonderful day in the Blue Mountains with our extremely knowledgable tour guide Bob. We were taken on a small bus from Sydney up to the mountains where we enjoyed a morning at Scenic World, were taken to a variety of look out points as well as visiting the Featherdale Wildlife park.

Bus was comfortable, just slightly warm but an enjoyable ride regardless. Scenic World was brilliant, and Bob accompanied us on the trip and gave lots of interesting information along the way. My favourite part were the lookout points where we saw some incredible views and loved taking lots of pictures. Lunch was included and was yummy enough, with lots of pub food options such as chicken parmi, fish and chips and steak sandwiches. We finished off the day at the Featherdale Wildlife park where we were able to feed an lad per kangaroos - another high point. We then enjoyed a lovely cruise down the parramatta river on the ferry. Whilst incredibly busy it was lovely to watch the sun go down as we arrived into Sydney harbour.

My mother and sister struggle with mobility and were still able to walk with us to most of the look out points. There were a lot of stairs in some but with the ample resting time in between each place they weren’t too out of breath! Just let your tour guide know what is manageable for you and they can incorporate this into their plans.

Overall we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to choose Anderson Tours again for our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our all inclusive tour to the Blue Mountains. Our tour guide Mark was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable providing our small group with lots of facts and information. Pick up at a local Hotel was punctual and the time schedule for the day ran to time. The inclusive lunch in Katoomba was excellent with great meal choices and our trip to the Featherdale Wildlife Park was amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this tour as it's excellent value for money, you get to see lots of different places and the whole tour is very well organised. Big thumbs up 👍
