An amazing experience made possible by Steve the tour guide. Showing us as many sights and attractions as he could fit in, he was a font of knowledge (USA trivia) on everything. Helped by glorious weather the sights at all points were fabulous. Every part of the day ran like clockwork and was on schedule right from the initial pick up. A fantastic day in the Blue Mountains and would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

I have travelled the world and can honestly say this bloke is amazing, his zest and enthusiasm for looking after his guests is 2nd to none we had an amazing time with the tour, Adam is very knowledgeable and knows how to interact with his customers,his knowledge of local history is very detailed, interesting and well presented, Adams time management and communication skills made for a very smooth experience,lunch at Bunker was amazing,scenic world was fantastic and enhanced by having a fantastic guide thanks again Adam McRae I will certainly be recommending you to our family and friends, looking forward to doing it all again. We were lucky rough to experience the Blue Mountain all day tour with our amazing guide Adam. It's an amazing day out, great lunch included and what Adam doesn't know about the history, flora and fauna of the region, places you visit and Australia in general isn't worth knowing. It's all imparted with great humour making an interesting, knowledgeable and stunning day. You won't regret this tour, highly recommended.

Hotel consierge recommended Anderson's tours for a day trip to the Blue Mountains near Sydney and I was so very glad they were able to squeeze me in on such short notice. It was a truly unforgettable day. Bob, our guide was knowledgeable, funny, attentive and also a great driver. We spent quite a good amount of time in the locations we stopped and I had an amazing day. I can't find fault with anything... It was perfect. And the area we visited is absolutely stunning. Wildlife centre was also a lot of fun. Marvellous experience!!!

Blue mountains is nothing less than impeccable. The view, history and the story is amazing. We enjoyed our tour. It was timely and memorable. Our Guide Adam was really entertaining and he knows the ins and outs of the place, that way we maximized our day.

We recently had a great day of sightseeing in the Blue Mountains on one of your tours. Our guide in this adventure was Rin. We thoroughly enjoyed her narrative, insights and all the background info provided. It was a long day of sightseeing but we were never bored. The exceedingly strong ratings is what attracted me to this tour. While there are many good attributes and I would generally recommend this tour, I’m not certain that the rating is completely justified. This was frankly a standard group trip to the Blue Mountains. The vehicles could certainly be upgraded and it does take much longer to reach your destination by bus. The trip, which I think is part of the appeal, can be broken down into multiple parts. There is the initial ride to the Blue Mountains, the Blue Mountains and several scenic lookouts, the rather kitschy dinosaurs/tram ride at Scenic World, lunch, the wildlife park and the boat back to Sydney. For clarify, this is all easily accessible on your own and frankly easily done in a day trip from Sydney. The appeal for most is putting all of this together without additional effort. Here are my comments. The drive itself is fine, although slow being in the bus. Having had a private day tour of Sydney the day before, I would say that the details, information and history provided was average at best and delivered in a ‘take it or leave it’ manner. In fact, the driver on more than one occasion chastised the bus for their apparent lack of interest and failure to respond to questions, which was equally absurd and outrageous, especially given the early morning. The scenic lookouts at the Blue Mountains are very nice and while easily accessible by the general public, obviously fit appropriately into the tour. Scenic World in my opinion is a waste of time. The highlight being a tram ride down the slope and into the Blue Mountain valley. It is nice, but we spent an obscene amount of time there, which was completely unnecessary. A tram ride up and down would have more than sufficed for the views. Lunch was fine, nothing special, but a nice touch was taking us to a location managed and run by military veterans. Although getting admonished by the individual at reception for failing to arrive with your driver and telling us to tell him that he should know that certainly seemed unnecessary given what I assume is significant business that Anderson Tours provides this place. The Wildlife sanctuary was certainly a highlight of the tour and an hour there certainly few by, personally I would remove time from Scenic World and add it to the Wildlife park. Finally, the boat ride back, which is on the public ferry is ingenious from a tour perspective as you can leave your passenger to return on their own to Sydney, simply for the cost of a commuter ferry ticket. It is a different way to see the city and certainly would not be possible if travelling with your own car. Regardless, on the whole this was a perfectly fine tour, as I mentioned, there are parts that I would significantly shorten, but it provides a nice taste of a variety of activities rolled up into a single day tour. I believe that four out of five stars is more than fair for the experience.
