This tour was really fun!! I liked or tour guide max he was really cool and knowledgeable about the blue mountains and which areas were the best!! The views were very scenic especially at Lincoln’s rock and the three sisters. The only part that was dissappointing was we got to spend a short time at scenic world. It closed early so we only got about 30 minutes there before it closed. I wish we had more time there because the views and scenery were amazing

The tour was private, just the two of us. Glenn was personable and asked us our preferences for tour options. The only disappointment was Glenn did not volunteer much information about the various stops and areas we visited. We expected a running commentary about the areas through which we traveled. We spent more time on beach towns and stops because we had expressed our appreciation of waves hitting rocks; it was an especially good day for that right after a storm. Glenn was attentive to our needs for breaks and gave us choices for lunch locations which resulted in a gorgeous hilltop destination with colorful parrots to watch while eating. It was a long drive, but worth it since we woud not have known the places to stop, nor the roads we traveled.

This was our first of two tours organised by Runaway Tours and was so easy to organise in the run up to us travelling en masse to Australia. Our large family group were superbly looked after by Runaway Tours and collected from our location in Sydney early in the morning before a two hour drive out to Hunter Valley. The guide, Glen was very knowledgable and welcoming and being an ex-pat from Essex, he led our group perfectly. We visited two different vineyards in the morning and had great taster sessions at both, before stocking up with bottles to help us celebrate our time in Australia. Following the second vineyard stop, Glen took us to a beautiful spa resort for our lunch which was of an exceptionally good standard. Following lunch we headed for a cheese tasting experience before visiting the third wine boutique. This was more of a wine stockist as opposed to a vineyard, but the quality of the wine was very good. As the afternoon drew to an end, the final stop on the tour was a chocolate shop where we had the chance to purchase some high quality confectionery. Following this visit we headed back into Sydney and was dropped off back at our lodgings at about 5:30 so it really was a full day of brilliant activities. Thank you Steve and Mandy for their exceptional organisation skills to put this tour on for us and as you can read on our Blue Mountain tour review, they really do know how show off these great locations in and around Sydney. When we return in the future, we will no doubt be heading to the Runaway Tours website to book more activities. Thank you for making our holiday in Sydney so memorable.

We had an amazing day on our Blue Mountains trip which also included a stop at the Wildlife Reserve where we had the chance to meet Koala's and other indigenous animals. Our guide Jonathan, was a mine of information and took time to talk to us about Australian history and origins. He took the time to talk us through each of the individual stops on the route and also threw in some hidden gems that made the trip that little bit more unique. Despite it being cold up in the mountains, Jonathan was extremely flexible and gave us time to take plenty of photos before moving on. If some of the group didnt want to get out of the bus, he was happy for them to stay put. The picnic lunch that was provided was fantastic and of such high quality that all of us were very complimentary about it. Unfortunately as the day progressed the weather became more inclement so Jonathan arranged for us to make an unscheduled stop at a tea shop on our way back to Sydney. This was the second tour we had been on with Runaway Tours and I really cannot fault them on their organisational skills or their customer service as we arranged the bookings prior to travelling to Australia from the UK. Both Steve and Mandy were exceptionally helpful and guided us perfectly to make the right decisions on both of our trips. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Runaway Tours because they were professional from start to finish. Thank you for making our trip more memorable.

Our tour of the Blue Mountains with Bettina was wonderful. She was extremely flexible with our needs as we toured with multi-generations. And even answered our craziest of questions about the area! I would highly recommend the custom tour.

A very informative and enjoyable day touring the Blue Mountains. Jonathan was a wealth of knowledge on both regional information as well as Australian culture and history. On top of this he was a very safe driver and considerate host.

Steve was absolutely phenomenal. We booked last minute because our other service fell through. There were 7 of us and we all had a wonderful time. Steve was prompt and communicative and super fun to chat with. He made sure we had a great time and we would 100% recommend him to all our friends and family.

We had a wonderful trip to Featherdale (feeding kangaroos, photo with koala) and the Blue Moutains / Scenic World (great hike). It was a bit cold and windy in August but we managed. Our tour guide, Andrew was super nice and helpful. We enjoyed his stories. We were picked up from our hotels and got to do everything we wanted. We would recommend Runaway Tours and visiting Blue Mountains for anyone in the area.

Our guide, Andrew, was so knowledgeable and kind. He got us around the crowds for the best experience and views of the mountains. Could not have asked for a better day!

We just had an amazing day with our guide Dune! He brought us to so many beautiful places, gave us a lot of information and we had a delicious lunch. Don’t forget to bring your jacket in winter because it is cold up there but Dune even got some spare jackets just in case someone was cold. Thank you so much for this amazing day. Awesome tour. What a great way to see Sydney! The group was really small; just the 2 of us and another couple and 2 brothers from Germany. Our guide Andrew was so friendly and funny and he showed us some amazing sites around Sydney. The secret spot was the highlight and we loved the white bridge across the bay. We loved the Aussie snacks! The Anzac biscuits were just like my nan used to make! Would definitely recommend this tour to any first time visitors to Sydney.

We enjoyed this trip so much. The views were incredible! Glenn was our guide. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, even the cheeky ones from the 6 year old. He tailored the trip to our interests. Highly recommend this tour and especially Glenn as a tour guide.

All 3 Tour Guides were excellent! We were treated like Royalty! ! Victor in particular gave us an insightful History (Political & Social) with references we could consult on social media. Bettina from Germany went the extra mile in honoring our every request and addressing all our questions however mundane. THANKS for a wonderful visit to Sydney!
