- cindynK944RP0 contributionsSydney city tourBreathtaking views! Experiencing Sydney for the first time was awesome! Special thanks to Andrew for the terrific job of expertly driving us around the city and sharing with us the rich heritage and culture of Australia and its people. We enjoyed the sights immensely, as well as the stories behind them. Hope this is not the last time we'd visit this lovely city❤Written 6 September 2024
- nelsoncG3721LV0 contributionsFantastic Experience with VicWe had a fantastic city tour of Sydney. Our guide Vic was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable about Sydney and Australia as a whole. He gave us very deep and insightful information throughout the tour. We stopped at many significant places to take pictures and also stopped at Manly beach for amazing lunch.Written 18 August 2024
- johnpU9336BB0 contributionsAwesome trip in SydneyFirst class tour. Saw everything we wanted to and more. Vic, our driver, was not only a first class driver but a first class guy as well. He ‘bent over backwards’ to ensure we got the very most out of our day. He made the trip for us, thank you Vic! Money well spent 👍Written 16 August 2024
- Electa S0 contributionsDream of a lifetime: animals I can petThe Aussie Animal tour to Featherdale Wildlife Park was exceptional due to our guide Jenn. Her through knowledge of historical facts of Sydney made it like a Shakespearean play. I enjoyed her commentary and perspective on Aboriginal people of this land. I learned about the government of Australia and political parties while driving out to the animal sanctuary. The animals in the petting area included wombat, koala, wallabies including a rare albino wallaby, echidna, tasie devil, and many other rare and exotic species. We even had our picture taken with a gentle koala. This is a dream come true. Jenn drove us later to Sydney Opera House where she showed us where to meet our tour group. This 1 hour walking tour described the historic architecture plans and politics behind this iconic building. Our guide here was exceptional. I would like to thank Jenn for being such an amazing guide. You made my day!Written 22 July 2024
- bbmaxwell0 contributionsPrivate tour Aussie Animals and Sydney Opera house with Runaway tour guide JenToday’s private tour with Jen was one of our best experiences so far while in Sydney! We were picked up at the front of our hotel and proceeded to Featherdale wildlife park. The van was equipped with a speaker system so we could hear everything very clearly while Jen was driving and talking. I’ve been on many private tours and this was by far the very best yet. Jen shared so much history with us about all the places we were driving through. We guessed that Jen must be some history buff, and we were right. She had studied at the university majoring in Aboriginal peoples and First Nation’s culture and people. We asked her so many questions about Australia eg. Politics, history, immigration, and she was able to answer us in detail with dates and specific people. We spent a good deal of time at Featherdale which in itself was an incredible sanctuary. We ended the tour with being dropped off at the Opera house entrance, and Jen got us set up for the tour before departing. The opera house tour was exactly 1 hour and incredible as well. It was a fabulous day! We encourage everyone to consider this private tour. It was a great value for what we paid.Written 22 July 2024

Highly recommend taking this tour while in Sydney. Weather was perfect for seeing all the lovely sights like the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Prince Henry Cliff Walk, Lookout Junction and many more stops along the way. A+ tour. This tour was really fun!! I liked or tour guide max he was really cool and knowledgeable about the blue mountains and which areas were the best!! The views were very scenic especially at Lincoln’s rock and the three sisters. The only part that was dissappointing was we got to spend a short time at scenic world. It closed early so we only got about 30 minutes there before it closed. I wish we had more time there because the views and scenery were amazing

I can’t say enough good things about the private Runaway tour we took with Glenn yesterday (December 15,2023). The timing worked out beautifully. We were wonderfully taken care of. Feathdale Wildlife Park was simply fantastic. The animals well cared for and friendly. The Blue Mountains were astounding. Glenn was so very knowledgeable. The lunch at Leura was delicious and the tour itself had so much flexibility. It was a long day. Scenic world was interesting. I would do Featherdale and three sisters again in a heart beat. Also the meat pie at Lily’s Pad was so yummy!
The ending taking the ferry back down the Parramatta River was perfect. I booked this tour in July and anytime I had questions the company responded quickly and professionally. This experience was worth every penny. It was just the four of us and we weren’t having to deal with a large crowd. I will definitely work with them again! Thank you Glenn!

Wildlife park was one of a kind and definitely worth it !
Keegan was our guide and he is really a fantastic person. He shared his knowledge of the country, history, all along the journey and it was really more than interesting !
We liked aloso the scenic tour with the three rides, and the choice of the several spots for the best view made by our guide.
Also easy to deal with the company, all done using the website or exchange of emails with very fast response.
I give a A++

We just had an amazing day with our guide Dune! He brought us to so many beautiful places, gave us a lot of information and we had a delicious lunch. Don’t forget to bring your jacket in winter because it is cold up there but Dune even got some spare jackets just in case someone was cold. Thank you so much for this amazing day. Worth every penny. 😊

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable and let us go at our own pace. The wildlife park was amazing - I probably could have spent all day there but then I would have missed the incredible tour of the Blue Mountains. The driver had great information along the way. We felt like he really cared about us having a good experience and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this tour for a stress free day with spectacular views.

This trip was a 5 star experience! Daniel was an amazing tour guide on our private tour. From our pick up in Sydney he was on point! Giving us a great history of the country and origins of Sydney as we headed out to the Blue Mountains region. It was really cool learning about this wonderful city. The trip to Featherdale Wildlife Park is a must as you get to get up close with Australia’s wildlife. Next up we went to the Three Sisters which were beautiful and then had lunch in the nearby town. If you get a chance, have lunch at Bake House for an authentic Australian meat pie. Insane! After lunch Daniel took us away from the tourist to explore other amazing mountains and valleys. Just breathtaking. We then headed in his comfortable A/C van to Olympic Park for a tour and a ferry ride back to Circular Quay. An amazing day!

HI.. Is this Blue Mountains Tour suitable for physically handicap seniors? Thanks
Written 6 April 2019
Hi,
We can take guests with some mobility issues, but unless you have a personal carer, our guides are not trained in this area. Walkers are fine, and provided you can get into and out of the vehicle, we can take small fold up wheelchairs as well. There are wheelchair accessible areas in the Blue Mountains to see this stunning regions.
