Breathtaking views! Experiencing Sydney for the first time was awesome! Special thanks to Andrew for the terrific job of expertly driving us around the city and sharing with us the rich heritage and culture of Australia and its people. We enjoyed the sights immensely, as well as the stories behind them. Hope this is not the last time we'd visit this lovely city❤

We had a fantastic city tour of Sydney. Our guide Vic was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable about Sydney and Australia as a whole. He gave us very deep and insightful information throughout the tour. We stopped at many significant places to take pictures and also stopped at Manly beach for amazing lunch.

First class tour. Saw everything we wanted to and more. Vic, our driver, was not only a first class driver but a first class guy as well. He ‘bent over backwards’ to ensure we got the very most out of our day. He made the trip for us, thank you Vic! Money well spent 👍

The Aussie Animal tour to Featherdale Wildlife Park was exceptional due to our guide Jenn. Her through knowledge of historical facts of Sydney made it like a Shakespearean play. I enjoyed her commentary and perspective on Aboriginal people of this land. I learned about the government of Australia and political parties while driving out to the animal sanctuary. The animals in the petting area included wombat, koala, wallabies including a rare albino wallaby, echidna, tasie devil, and many other rare and exotic species. We even had our picture taken with a gentle koala. This is a dream come true. Jenn drove us later to Sydney Opera House where she showed us where to meet our tour group. This 1 hour walking tour described the historic architecture plans and politics behind this iconic building. Our guide here was exceptional. I would like to thank Jenn for being such an amazing guide. You made my day!

Today’s private tour with Jen was one of our best experiences so far while in Sydney! We were picked up at the front of our hotel and proceeded to Featherdale wildlife park. The van was equipped with a speaker system so we could hear everything very clearly while Jen was driving and talking. I’ve been on many private tours and this was by far the very best yet. Jen shared so much history with us about all the places we were driving through. We guessed that Jen must be some history buff, and we were right. She had studied at the university majoring in Aboriginal peoples and First Nation’s culture and people. We asked her so many questions about Australia eg. Politics, history, immigration, and she was able to answer us in detail with dates and specific people. We spent a good deal of time at Featherdale which in itself was an incredible sanctuary. We ended the tour with being dropped off at the Opera house entrance, and Jen got us set up for the tour before departing. The opera house tour was exactly 1 hour and incredible as well. It was a fabulous day! We encourage everyone to consider this private tour. It was a great value for what we paid.

Had an amazing time on full day tour to see the Blue Mountains, the Featherdale Wildlife Park and Scenic World Rides. We feel very fortunate to be with Julian and Joe. Everything was perfect. Highly enjoyed our time together. We traveled as family of four and had very personalized experience. Also had lunch in Leura, a quaint little town. Highly recommend taking this tour while in Sydney. Weather was perfect for seeing all the lovely sights like the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Prince Henry Cliff Walk, Lookout Junction and many more stops along the way. A+ tour. Thank you!

We had a great experience Jen took us to all this wonderful places and gave us an explanation on the history, landscape and architecture of the city.

Scott was amazing tour guide. He was very personable, knowledgeable, smart and great sense of humor. He took us to many locations that had amazing views of Sydney. I highly recommend the tour.

First of all I cannot say enough good things about our guide Bettina-she was wonderful! We had never been to Sydney before and only had the day to see as much as we could of Sydney. We asked her to show us the best highlights in the time given and she delivered! The communications were excellent, the vehicle comfortable and all for a reasonable price! We had an amazing adventure yesterday with Glenn! He was a wealth of knowledge and entertainment for us. He even helped us spot some wildlife, which made the day of the kids and adults. We had a great time with Glen, our guide, on this full day tour. He was flexible, knowledgeable, and friendly, and we can highly recommend him and Runaway Tours. We actually did a City Tour with Runaway and Glen the day before, and Glen picked us up at the cruise terminal, along with a ton of luggage, and dropped us at our hotel after the tour. Glen knew all the best spots to get those perfect photos.

Very incredible tour with Scott! We booked last minute but everything was seamless. He is very knowledgeable about the city and modified as he went with what we already knew or had seen! He navigated the city flawlessly with all the detours from Australia Day. Truly recommend if you want to learn a lot about Sydney and the greater area!
