My partner and I love a good escape room. We have completed all of the ones in our local area so decided to venture into the city to give this place a go. Positives first! The staff were great. Our host was fantastic and very confident in front of the whole waiting room of people. I enjoyed that the room (bank heist) referenced actual figures from Australia’s 1920 underworld history. Negatives… the room itself was a bit tired. At least two of the mechanisms in our room required excessive jostling to make them work. It was only because we were confident with our answers that we were able to discover that we needed to put additional force/jiggle the different mechanisms in the room. We were also booked in for 11:30, told to arrive at 11:15 but did not get started until 11:45. Perhaps we have been spoilt with other places we’ve visited, but it was odd to be briefed with at least 20 other people who were doing other rooms. It seemed very chaotic and unorganised.

Well my husband did not know what to expect we are 63 and 55 years old , but I love it he seem to like it but doesn't like to be confused. First I must start with the negative we booked the bank hoist for 2pm then received a message we couldn't have it to 2.15pm which was fine when we arrive lifted stuck on level 5 no-one fault these things happen. So we finally got up to level 5 only to find out we where booked but not booked in go figure., so no bank hoist for us lucky us two customers want to reschedule so we got the Secret mission room. Now it was fun and hard for us but would definitely try again with a group and double check our booking. Yes the team there was having what seem a hard day but where also very nice

My brother and I had the best time in the Wizard room in December!! The room was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The puzzles were super fun, creative and the perfect amount of challenging. Rowan was an amazing game master and made our time so fun! His customer service was awesome!

We did the Pub and it was one of the best room we've done! Challenging but so good. The Wizard Room is a lot of fun too! We also love our game master for the night, he was so friendly and fun.

Spur of the moment decision last night to book us in for some escaping fun. There were not many spaces so ended up booking ourselves in for the “assassin at the pub” room, level 4. Took a good friend (her first escape room) and my 12yo daughter. We did much better than we thought. We could not finish in the allocated time, but Rowan kindly let us continue ..... because we were sooo close, and we managed to finish after another 15 minutes. Great venue, great puzzles and a nice team. Well be back :)

We completed the Secret Service mission as it was our first time trying an escape room. We needed some clues to escape in time but found the puzzles fun and interesting. Some of our clues were more telling us directly what to do which made it feel like a little less successful escape (maybe we appeared lost!). There was noise from the other groups through the walls but we still enjoyed our experience. Hopefully we can go back to try a harder room next time.

Went here with my teenage kids recently as a group of 3, the escape room was fun, but would rate it slightly lower than some others. Support was OK by Walkie Talkie, but game master did not really monitor our progress unless we called for help. Each game master seemed to support multiple escape rooms at the same time. Other places monitored us more closely and would provide comments if warranted with 1:1 support and monitoring. No limit on clues given and each session limited to 60 minutes. We did have lots of fun, and we completed the challenge (Secret Service Mission).

The puzzles are not difficult but the vocabularies are complex. If you don't have the cultural background and are not familiar with the mythical stories, you will the experience dispointing. The rooms are too small and you can hear the loud noise from next door. The floor was sometimes shaking. Generally too dark inside to localise the victory items after solving the puzzles. We have been to many escape rooms in Sydney, this one is really English demanding (not logically demanding, only the language). The staff advised this room was with high difficulty level. We reckon the difficulty is you paid to learn English in a terrible experience.

We had an awesome time at Escape Hunt on George St. Escape rooms with clues fantastic to solve the puzzles and clues to get to the end. Fun night all round.

I found the entire experience a whole lot of fun as well as the adequate amount of assistance that was provided by the game master! If you're after an hour of fun whilst also having a challenge, this is the place for it! Great for work team bonding opportunities too!

Went to the wizard room - hard a great time :) Thanks to all the staff. It was challenging and took the full hour to complete.

My partner and I went to The Escape Hunt over the weekend, having never done an escape room before. The staff were super friendly, helpful and very thorough (especially when explaining safety). We had a gentleman by the name of Rowan helping us out in our room, although his name badge stated he was a trainee- I'd beg to differ! He was awesome! He helped us out in the best way, gave us small clues so we worked out the puzzle ourselves without feeling like complete idiots (must admit, used my brain waaay more than I thought I would've). Afterwards, Rowan showed us to some props and took a couple of photos of us for us to take away. We had an absolute blast not only doing the puzzles in the room, but the whole experience. Your staff are a credit to you as a company and we'll definitely be back to do the other rooms!

This venue is very well set up for Corporate Team Bonding. Very professional and organised. The team really loved the experience.

Always wanted to have a go and so glad I finally did! We did the bank heist experience and can’t wait to try the others, will definitely be back. The staff are welcoming, up beat and genuinely want you and your friends to have an awesome time... So, if your in Sydney and feel like a fun challenge with your partner or a group of friends, the escape hunt is for you!

For my 21st, I wanted a fun group activity for a large group of friends, where we did the hardest one there, 'Assassin in the Pub'. The staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful which made my birthday all the more better. Despite not finding a horror escape room big enough for my group in Sydney, we all really enjoyed it, with each person specializing in doing their thing while escaping; eg. good at finding things, good with theory, good at noticing small details, etc A lot of content was available in the room, unlike others I've done before and provided a lot of puzzles to keep on top of. There was a wonderful backdrop to take our group photos after which the staff member Lisa took many for us, so thank you for everything and making it a great 21st birthday! <3 If there's a horror theme, HMU!
