        Fun day out
Amazing tour with Ben - entertaining and fun tour guide with a variety of vineyards which were authentic and intimate. Tried amazing local wines, saw kangaroos , tasted delicious cheese and had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting.

Good trip to find out about local wines
Very interesting day visiting small wineries. Great group and knowledgeable guides. Trip was an early pick up and a long day, but never noticed the return drive! Good chance to visit the area.

        Fun Day
We had a nice day - the three wineries, lunch at a resort, the tastings at a cheese shop and the bonus tastings at a chocolate store made for a very full day! The group was a manageable size and Ben, the tour guide provided commentary the whole way to Hunter Valley. I would recommend the trip if you want to try various Australian wines.

It was amazing. Small group. Perfect. The driver was so funny and had a good way of telling stories. The wine was excellent and interesting learning about the process of the winemaking.

Seeing the wild kangaroos was the highlight of this tour!
Ben our g uide picked us up at the 4 Seasons back entrance in Sydney. It is a couple hours to get to Hunter valley. It will be a full day. I had wanted to see Hunter valley. Supposedly a very beautiful spot in Australia. We went to three wineries. Not really impressed with the wine or the wineries. You're mainly doing tastings and then off to the road. If you live in the US you will not be able to have wine shipped. I actually wish we had pre chosen the wineries we wanted to visit and did it on our own. Lunch is at a golf course. Pretty good choices and food. The third winery was our least favorite, but the highlight was the mob of kangaroos. Hunter valley was the only place we saw wild kangaroos. We also went to a cheese tasting. It would have been better to combine wine and cheese. The highlight for this was the kangaroos. It was a big cramped on the bus for a small tour. Note if you are the last tourist to arrive for the group, you're probably going to get the back of the bus. Don't complain if you're late and are the last people. The last couple to get to the meeting point, he was such a complainer he wanted everybody to switch so that they could sit in the front. Rude. He was complaining through the whole time I wish we could have dropped him off. The guide to ask people to switch and they were very nice folks who did it. And of course a big complainer, the last one always took the front seat by the driver. If you're that Tourist, learn to suck it up or get there earlier. First come, first serve . ( Note we were not first or second or third/

        Wine tour
Booking and pick up was easy. The guide Ben was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The selection of wineries was perfect each just different enough to keep it interesting. The cheese tour was spectacular such a bonus to the tour. The bus was clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Almost 8 hours on a cramped mini bus
We signed up for this tour not realising the journey time to Hunter Valley is over 3 hours each way. The mini van was full, so very little space, no water on board and not allowed to eat or drink whilst in van. The driver whose second language was English knew very little about culture or history except for some basic facts. Also decided to try and read some documents whilst driving. The winery’s were ok lunch ok and couple of bits of cheese. I would not attempt this unless you really want to taste wine, the drive is boring mainly motorway there are Much better ways to spend your time

An excellent day with Tony our driver who did a great job of helping us enjoy the journey and the Wine stood and Cheese visit. Three great wine locations two of which presented very well.

A pleasant day in Hunter Valley with John
We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Hunter Valley with John and the others in the group. We quickly got to know people from various backgrounds, so the mix of ideas and perspectives was a fun part of the experience. John was a careful driver and a good-natured tour guide; his selection of wineries gave us a limited but interesting view of winemaking in the area, and the lunch stop was comfortable with nice choices of food. We had cloudy weather, but were happy to avoid very hot summer sun.

Great time in the Blue Mountains!
Fabulous tour led by a great tour guide, Patricia. The Blue Mountains are spectacular and the Ferndale Animal park was great. You were able to feed wallabies and Kangaroos out of your hand. Highly recommend.

We missed our initial trip pick up, due to a mapping error on my part, but they were very nice and rescheduled us for the next day. Our guide, Ben, picked us up downtown and right from the jump, his friendly manner and sense of humor out everyone at ease, and he immediately started filling us in on the history of all kinds of landmarks and historical events. Weather was not on our side, but ben rolled with the punches and rerouted us to try to capture the best possible views, and the final "big" view was initially completely sucked in with fog, but to make the best of it, ben told an Aboriginal tale about the 3 sisters, and over the course of the 15 minutes he was telling it, pockets of view cleared up and created a phenomenal vista for the group. The tour was a lot of fun, the kids absolutely loved the wilderness conservation, and all of the indigenous animals they had there.

My only issue is that I am over 6 feet tall, and the seats on the bus are rather cramped. It is the same issue as most airplane rides, so I am used to it, but getting rid of a row of seats and affording the remaining rows a couple extra inches would help a lot.

This Your was absolutely brilliant! Our tour guide, Jeff, took the time to assess our group and thoughtfully curated a tour to fit our schedule and participant levels! Featherdale was such a unique and special stop-I could have stayed there for hours! We thoroughly enjoyed the hike at the end of the day, and could have happily hiked longer. The views of the valleys are breathtaking-our photos will never do them justice. We expected to see one waterfall on this tour, but thanks to Jeff we got to see three beautiful waterfalls as well as a few special lookout points. This tour is incredible and we highly recommend it!

I went on the Blue Mountains tour as a solo traveller and was immediately put at ease by our tour guide Scotty. Scotty was friendly, welcoming and took the time to get to know every guest and their interests.

Scotty had incredible knowledge of all different topics and made every minute of the day extremely enjoyable and insightful, going above and beyond to let the guests make the very best out of our experience. For instance, taking photos, providing knowledge and facts specific to our individual interests and giving us recommendations for lunch etc.

The day was one of the most incredible days I've ever had-we went to all the best viewpoints for the Blue Mountains and got to feed and interact with the kangaroos at the wildlife park at the end which is part of my bucket list for Australia. The whole day was amazing and ran really smoothly!

If you get to tour with Scotty you are in for an amazing and fun day. He also provided recommendations for guests for the rest of their visits to Australia beyond the tour so we can all really make the most out of our visit-thank you Scotty for the best day!

We just came back from a delightful day up in the Blue Mountains. Our guide/driver was Steve and I can’t begin to tell you how phenomenal he is as a guide. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have spent the day, touring, and learning so many interesting facts about the mountains, Australia, history, and so much more. Certainly worth the money! The landscapes we saw were breath taking, the Featherdale zoo gave you a good overall view of all of the Australian animals. You get to feed the kangaroos and have a photo taken with a koala.
Thank you Steve, Q and I will take our great memories back home with us!

Our tour guide, Steve, was so amazing, funny and informative. The whole day he was telling us about the history of everything we were seeing, random little tidbits while keeping it interesting and making us laugh along the way. The sights were amazing and you definitely got to see all the highlights of the blue mountains. I feel there’s a lot more to see there but if you only have one day, this tour is a great option. Also very well organised and on time throughout the day! Thank you Steve!!

Our driver Scott picked us up at the designated time and place and after welcoming all on board entertained us with his friendly chatter and storytelling about the areas we travelled through. He had so much local knowledge and went out of his way to make our day interesting and enjoyable. The views were amazing. We were spoilt for choice at lunchtime and the visit to the wildlife park was enjoyable. Those animals all looked extremely sleek and shiny which tells me they are well cared for. I have seen numbers of dingoes before and dingoes in the wild never look so healthy as Featherdales resident dingo.
Thank you Scotty for making our day so enjoyable.

It’s a great day but I think the itinerary could do with a bit of updating to more accurately reflect the day. The Blue Mountains national park and three sisters are incorporated - we didn’t go to a separate three sisters point which makes the day quite a bit shorter than 11 hours. I was expecting the tour guide to be taking us around the blue mountains and exploring different viewpoints but we were dropped off and left to get the cable car, did a short walk through a boarded walkway in the rainforest and then back up on the train where he met us. Weather wasn’t on our side so appreciate the fog didn’t help but I expected much more ‘wow’ on the viewpoints we were taken to (only two stops). The waterfall point was just a 5 minute stop for us, so that doesn’t really reflect in the detail above. Would have preferred way less time in the wildlife park which you can see anywhere really in Aus. Tour guide was really enthusiastic though which helped with the grey weather!

Thank you for letting us know your feedback. I'm really glad that you had a great day exploring in the Blue Mountains. We appreciate you taking the time to describe your experience and what you visited during the day so that others can appreciate how our guides will adapt the core itinerary based on the conditions, which locations are open or closed, and the group - so even if the fog limited some of the views and the weather reduced the time out of the vehicle at some stops, you still had an enjoyable time. We regularly review the itinerary descriptions and will take on board your feedback. We are a bit limited in the flexibility of how the Viator system shows the inclusions, but will see if there are some more changes that we can make to better explain what to expect. We try very hard to deliver on what we say that we will do and succeed the vast majority of the time! Thanks again for your suggestions, and we're glad that you had a great time overall. Yours sincerely Brad

The Blue Mountains are amazing, well worth visiting. Our guide Scotty was great, very knowledgable and passionate about what he does. It was a diverse group & he looked after everyone ensuring everyone’s needs/views were considered.

Having been to the Lone Pine Koala sanctuary in Brisbane, I personally wouldn’t have gone to Featherdale - it is not very good in comparison - it is more zoo than wildlife park & it wasn’t really for me. I do understand that it may be the only place people can see Koala up close in that area; but I have issues with zoos and found some of the staff there a little rude.

There is so much see in the Blue Mountains I think it should be 2 separate trips - just my opinion.

If you do decide to go this company is a good one!

I took this tour with my husband and we had a great time! They picked us up on time, from the designated location. Our tour guide was Andrew - he was just amazing! He drove us everywhere, and kept us engaged with stories, and talking to us about the history of the landmark we were crossing. He is an amazing storyteller - with mimicry and voice modulations! And he was extremely kind to us! He took all our pictures, made sure the group knew eachother and made the whole day very fun for us! :) I highly recommend this tour!
