- heathersK1008ER0 contributionsPerfect DaySo this review is late in coming (6years) had to just pick a day so it would post, but my family actually took the private Cruz in March of 2018…However, I just found the business card while Spring cleaning…still felt the need to let Margie and Cameron know what a wonderful time my husband, daughter and I had that day…truly a highlight to our trip! Day was perfect, lunch and wine wonderful and the natural beauty of the harbor seeing it from the water was amazing!Written 22 March 2024

Outstanding four hours with Charlie and Howard. Charlie skippered the boat round all the areas of the harbour while Howard gave us a detailed and very interesting commentary on each place and many historic facts too. Lunch was excellent and we had time for a swim as well. The small group makes for an intimate, memorable experience. Good boat too - well equipped and comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and had such a great day with Sensational Sydney. The crew was amazing and made the day so enjoyable. Lunch was delicious, the beer and wine was flowing, and this was the best way to see the city. I really enjoyed Bec's commentary as she not only gave us great info regarding the history of Sydney but also a lot of celebrity / pop culture facts as well. Charlie was a great captain- you can tell they both really loved their job and entertaining people. A++++

Our cruise was a dinner cruise that began at 5PM. The crew was welcoming from the start. We were greeted with drinks and a guide who gave a talk on the history of the harbor. We took in the sites from various vantage points on the boat as we cruised several fingers off the harbor. We had 7 in our group but the boat could comfortably handle double that count.
We then stopped in a protected area and the crew provided a tasty dinner with options for all in our group. The weather was great so we dined alfresco on the stern, but we could have been inside had the weather not cooperated.
After dinner we cruised back to port as the sun set and the lights of the city came to life. It really was magical.

Although it was a windy day (gusts as high as 60 kph) captain Ian and the boat owner Shawn delivered us a very comfortable harbor cruise. It was an intimate afternoon with just 4 of us on board the large yacht. We learned a lot about the history and geography of this expansive city and even talked a bit about a future Olympian. The lunch and drinks in a small calm cove was a nice bonus after a busy morning. A wonderfully relaxing afternoon. You should try it.

We didn’t know what to expect with this cruise since it had been booked for us by the travel agency. This was a very pleasant surprise. Both Margie and James were so fun, entertaining and knowledgeable. They worked well together and catered to all our needs. Margie was especially full of energy and my husband enjoyed talking about basketball with James. The lunch was excellent in a great location. It was all first class and we learned many interesting things about the harbor. They also took great care to make sure we got on and off the boat safely. I highly recommend this even if you just want an excellent meal and to be pampered out on the harbor.

The cruise and lunch were first-rate. Ian was our captain and chef, while Graham gave a running narrative as we traveled through Sydney harbour. Many colorful and interesting stories were told. The meal was delicious: shrimp to begin, followed by steak, salmon and salads. The steak and salmon were prepared on board. Dessert was chocolate biscuits, fruit, crackers and cheeses. I’m stuffed but happy. I only wish the weather had been better. But still a wonderful and educational time was had!

Our small vessel departed port right on time. We were taken to several stops around and in the harbour with narration by the captain Tim and cruise director Bec. Both individuals were very friendly and knowledgeable of the areas we visited. We were free to move about the boat and gaze and sit wherever we wanted. Tim and Bec prepared a wonderful lunch to eat while we stopped in a very secluded bay, and where they invited us to take a swim if we wanted. I could have stayed on that boat all day!

Our crew, Saracen & Howard, were wonderful & definitely contributed to our enjoyment of the cruise. The cruise itself was delightful. I would recommend this company & its staff to anyone looking for a relaxed sightseeing tour. The food the crew cooked was also great.

We thoroughly enjoyed cruising the harbor with Graham and Aaron. Graham was both informative about the landmarks of the harbor and was very entertaining. Aaron piloted the both expertly as he navigated through the waters. Both Aaron and Graham seemed genuinely interested in assuring that our trip was as enjoyable as possible. Lunch was delicious from beginning to end. The best tour we had while staying here in Sydney and I would highly recommend this tour.

We took this cruise as part of the About Australia package. Charlie and Howard were the best hosts on their boat. Lunch was very good with BBQ Steaks and Salmon along with shrimps and vegetables. Local beers, white wines and soft drinks were plentiful. Charlie gave us a good ride all around the harbor while Howard gave a thorough explanation of its history and stories behind the mansions around the harbor. I would definitely recommend this cruise as a must-do while visiting Sydney.

What is the typical lunch that is served? I cannot eat fish or shellfish, is that an issue?
Written 28 September 2019
We had beef, salmon, shrimps, potato salad and green salad. Followed by cheese crackers and fruit. You serve yourself, buffet style so you can avoid the fish and shellfish.
