Great way to see Sydney
Jun. 2021
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days on the bus. James and the other two drivers were so friendly and helpful with where we wanted to go. Can't recommend them highly enough. The online price was great too

Disappointed
Apr. 2021 • Couples
It's not exactly hop.on hop off. If you get off there is a 2 hour wait for the next bus. Also they advertise 24 hr pass , this is not true last bus is 2 or 2.30pm . Very disappointing

This is a great way to see Sydney and Bondi. All hop on hop off buses do take 1-2 hours to complete one whole loop which can get annoying when you only have the ticket for one day and you have many sights to explore. We purchased this ticket to get to Bondi hassle free which we did. Good planning is needed for one day ticket holders!

"Got more information from googling"
Jul. 2020
I was extremely unimpressed with these tours. I have been on several hop on hop off buses around the world but this tour was so poor in so many ways. The entire experience was unorganised, time-consuming (far greater than advertised), and unpleasant. The commentary was minimal and lacking content, between a short burst of "there is the harbour bridge" etc; they played an awful mix of 'Australian' music. I have never heard so many versions of advance Australia fair one after the other. We changed buses twice due to mechanical concerns. The value for money is awful, I was expecting a fun and informative experience, but truthfully I could have ridden around on the train for far less, and got more information from googling.

A great way to get an overview of Sydney
Feb. 2020
My wife and I purchased a ticket which gave us 48 hrs on the HO/HO bus tours, one day Captain Cook Sydney Harbour HO/HO ferry and the Rocks walking tour. Great value. We did both bus tours on day one, selected where we wanted to visit on day two (Opera House, Botanic Gardens, Fish Market and Chinese Gardens). On day three we used the HO/HO ferry to visit Taronga Zoo and Manly Beach. And on day four we took the Rocks walking tour. Great value. The buses (and the ferries) were punctual, and the transfer from the Sydney tour to the Bondi Beach tour was well co-ordinated with only a few minutes wait. Excellent timing. Highly recommended.

Nice way to get an introduction to the city
Nov. 2019
Conveniently located pick up location in downtown. We kicked off our trip to Sydney by taking the Big Bus tour. We didn't get off as we didn't want to wait for the next bus, so we took the complete route first. We later got off to have lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Overall we enjoyed the experience.

A great way to see the city
This bus takes you to all of the important destinations across the city, be aware that the driver does not tell you exactly which stop you are stopping at, they stop and you have to work out where you are, and when to hop off. Other drivers were much better, so just play it by ear. We particularly liked the area around the Maritime museum and the Harbour Bridge; also hop on the bus to Bondi; although the pick up point at the far end is up a steep hill and actually picks up at the top of the hill in the bus area near the small shops.

When you want to see as much as possible without driving
Mar. 2020
We couldn't make up our minds on what to do and really didn't want to drive the rental car in the city. The bus stopped 1/2 block from condo we were in which made this a great option. We are not at all bus tour folk, but this was pretty cool way to see the entire city! Used our own Bose headphones which worked out really well as it gets a bit windy if you ride on top! Kinda felt like we were in a movie, hair blowing in the wind, sights going by! Some drivers were much better then other, Pete was the best! Some could care less if you were on or not.
The company should think about a better narrator and/or at least have them tell you which stop you are at ad/or mark or number the stops to match the maps given out. We missed a stop or two, so pay close attention. Being in Bondi Beach as our pick up, it is terribly difficult to try and get to the free walking tour or boat rides in time. You really need to days if starting in Bondi.

Spent 3 hours on a one day excursion waiting for overdue buses
Mar. 2020
Terrible service disinterested arrogant drivers. Brochure states 20 to 30 minutes waiting for next bus 45 mins was the shortest time we waited & at the last stop we were told they were running 1 hour late. Along with other customers we waited 1 hour 10 mins finally given up & getting a cab ride
