          Excellent introduction to Broome
Excellent introduction to the sights around Broome. The tour guide Candy had a lot of local knowledge and anecdotes about old and modern Broome.

This was a fabulous tour with Candy who shared her local knowledge and took us to some lovely beaches and unique sights. Candy also gave us insight on places to eat and drink in Broome. Thanks Candy.

          Spectacular views
What a great morning I had exploring Broome. Candy was so welcoming when picking me up from the accommodation. I enjoyed the tour as I would not been able to see all the places with no car. The water and views were spectacular. Taking the bus on the beach and putting your feet in the water was a wonderful experience. Receiving a nice cold face washer after walking in the heat. Thanks to the morning tea and water. I appreciated this tour and would recommend to anyone who is visiting Broome. Thanks to Candy and your team.

          Great Intro to Broome
Can’t remember our guide’s name but she was a young woman and she did a great job. The tour was scenic, informative and stimulating. It gave a great introduction, while encouraging further exploration. The guide was particularly respectful of First Nations history in the region. Highly recommended!

          Great option
Candy was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and driver. She took us to several locations that we would not have been able to access easily on our own. Her explanations and insights at each stop were interesting and informative. A great choice for cruise travellers like us. Thanks, Candy.

          Enjoyable and informative tour
My Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our Broome and Around Tour. Having never visited Broome, this tour was a great way to see the local area, learn about its amazing history along with other fun and useful facts. Our tour guide Dooma's commentary was very engaging, he was very personable and his knowledge of the Broome area and it's history was amazing. The water, cold towel and snack were much appreciated! The tour was very professionally run and I highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoy my afternoon on tour! It was the perfect taster of the diversity Broome has to offer.
Matso’s is a WA institution, it was great to be where it all began. Alex, the tour guide did a great job of summarising the history in a well informed yet interesting way. The food, drinks and atmosphere sealed the deal.
The museum enhance my connection and understanding of the town.
Finally the croc park was the closest I’ve ever been to the beautiful creatures! I appreciate all the great work they are doing and how they share their animals with the public in the same laid back Broome way.
The tour provided a friendly setting to meet other people also holidaying in town. However, the self guided museum tour as well as time on the bus provided comfortable respite from the larger group setting.
I would recommend it to anyone considered the tour. Thanks Alex and Broome and Around!

Our guide was lovely but she didn’t really do much. she really just drove the bus and was nice to us. unfortunately we were rushed we barely got 30m at the museum and barely had an hour at the croc park. At the museum we had to look around ourselves and had to rush through as the were closing by 1pm and we got there by 12.50pm, as our guide was very late in picking us up. At croc park we just managed to see the talk on the crocs and just managed to hold the little crocs. We never got to see the rest of the park as we had to meet her at the bus by 4.15pm- the park closed at 5pm though. It felt we needed to rush so she could knock off on time.

Also at the croc park there was another tour guide (Aidan) from the same company who during the baby crocs session was told to take some people as there were lots of people wanting to hold a baby croc. So he ended up having maybe about 10people with him, while the croc guide had 20+people. When it was our turn he got all flustered and turned to us and another family and said “I’m on tour with these guys we are a separate tour than yours” in a rude way and basically kicking us out of his group of approx 6 people. Our guide was nowhere to be seen and did nothing. We then had go at the end of the line again and fight to be heard to allow our 4yr old to hold a baby croc.

If this is how people are treated by this company I do not recommend them as it is not worth the money.

Hi Ella Thank you for joining us on our tour, we are disappointed to read your review but thank you for taking the time to do so. We sincerely apologise for being late to collect you, we work diligently to be on time for every pick-up on every tour. Sarah said she apologised profusely for being late on this occasion. We do normally allow 45 mins at the Museum, and Sarah organised passes for you to go back to the Museum. Our tour and marketing promise that we will get customers back by 4.45 pm so this is why we leave at 4.15, so it's not about finishing for the day but getting our customers back to where they need to be on time. It is a 4-hour tour at three locations. On the way to the crocodile park, Sarah shared the information about Malcolm Douglas and as we do, recommended following our guides in our green shirts to be able to give you the best service. Sarah mentioned she couldn't find you guys and that she had the rest of the group with her in a different row/alley of crocodiles. So unfortunately you guys weren't together. Sarah said she spoke to you and said she had been looking for you and your son, Alex and asked if you were all okay and you said you were all okay. During school holidays the crocodile park is busy and everyone is a bit frantic as they think they won't get to hold the baby crocs. Our staff and the croc park are committed together to making sure everyone holds the baby crocs so that kids can keep coming back to have more holds. Aidan apologises as you can see from his reviews he is a professional, caring and courteous person. On this occasion, Dale the croc handler had mentioned to everyone which way to go to get the quickest hold and Aidan was trying to administer Dale's request but he feels he may have come across the wrong way. He is very apologetic. From our perspective, we really appreciate you sharing your feedback, it is very important and it helps us all including the Museum and the crocodile park improve our service, processes and communication. Sarah enjoyed having your family on the tour, and thank you for your kind words. All the very best, if you are coming back to Broome please let us know as we would like to provide a special trip for you. Candy, Rod and our team.

Enjoyed Matzos brewery although we did expect some sort of tour around the brewery it was basically just a lunch stop with a couple of free samples. The bird sanctuary was disappointing with the petting zoo animals appearing sad and the birds seemingly bored in their cages. As for the mosquitoes they were an absolute nightmare, even with insect repellent on they savagely attacked everyone. The crocodile sanctuary was very interesting with a very knowledgeable guide introducing us to all the crocodiles. On balance the crocodiles were probably the most interesting part of the tour

Great walk around 12 mile bird park -some real characters the tall back and Malcolm Dougles Crocodile Park - our guide was fantastic with some massive crocs shown being feed. Rod was amazing from start to end, our group of 10 had such a blast and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Holding the baby crocodiles would have been the highlight for our kids and we loved meeting the cockatoos Rocky and Norm at the 12 mile bird park. Food and drinks were yummy at Matso’s. We would highly recommend the tour with Rob, as he is a wealth of knowledge and extremely friendly. Thanks Rob 😊

My first time in Broome and I had the pleasure of going on this tour with tour guide Gabby and 1 other elderly lady! I was expecting a whole bus full but it was so great to have a small intimate group. Gabby was sooooo helpful and had so much knowledge about Broome! First stop was matsos, I grabbed something to eat and had a free sample of the beer (would have been great if I had a free tasting paddle but not complaining 😂), next was the museum, so much history of the pearling industry, I never knew that before I came here. Lastly we went to Malcom Douglass Croc Park. Boy, that was a treat. Unfortunately for me my phone died so I have no photos, but luckily it was such a great learning experience that I’ll never forget! (I’ll just have to come back to Broome for more photos😆)

I want to thank my tour guide Gabby for giving me a great first impressions of Broome! I love this place and I cannot wait to come back!

This was by far the highlight of our stay in Broome, our tour guide, Dooma, was extremely knowledgeable and ensured we got the most out of our tour. It was well organised and all three stops were amazing. This tour provided value for money and the Malcolm Douglas crocodile park is a must to see. I highly recommend the professional services of Broome and Around and would not hesitate to book with them again in the future.

Alex was a great tour guide. He took time to approach all of us to give us a heads up on when will the guide at the croc park will go to next so we can get the best views of the feeding time. Highly recommend 👌 They also sent reminders and had good communication about the tour. Tour was well timed and the tour bus was comfy.

We are writing this just an hour after our tour ended. Today sadly our last day in Broome ended perfectly with Candy giving us a truly excellent tour. We were warmly welcomed by Candy at our accommodation. From the moment we got on the bus Candy’s local knowledge and love of Broome was very evident. Our first stop was at the Roebuck Plains Roadhouse where over a wonderful ice cold Matso’s Ginger Beer we talked and took in the sights of this unique stop. Next stop was the 12 Mile Bird Park where we saw some stunning birds, The variety of colour and sounds of the many parrots and others species was fantastic. Lastly it was off to Malcom Douglas Crocodile park. The power and might of these ancient creatures was an eye opener. Sadly the 4
hour tour came to an end so quickly. We highly recommend Broome and Around Tours any time you are in this beautiful part of WA. This was our first trip to Broome and we will be coming here again.

Hi Julia and Tony It was such a pleasure to meet you both and spend the afternoon with you both. We are thrilled that you really enjoyed the three stops on the tour and our commentary. Thanks for sharing the beautiful birds with me and those naughty extraordinary crocodiles! They never fail to surprise and delight guests. Thank you and we can't wait to see you both again. All the very best to you both, Candy and Rod

The Museum, Matso’s Brewery and Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Feeding Tour were all well worthwhile. Our guide Aidan was very knowledgeable, approachable and nothing was too much trouble. Very professional as was Candy who did a special pick up for me as I booked online, quite late on the morning of the tour.
