The first stop is at a Mayan kitchen in a small town near Chichen itzá. A local chef with specialty in the Yucatan and Mayan Cuisine will help you chose between the main course dishes for the days menu. Poc Chuc Pork, Chicken Pibil or Pork Pibil known as the famous: Cochinita Pibil . After your selection you will be able to collect the organic herbs and fruits that will be the ingredients in the cooking lessons . After placing everyone´s lunch in the ground oven and whilst it slowly cooks and melts all flavors; our coach will take you to Chichen Itza Archaeological Site. After the visit of Chichen Itza, our group will return for lunch. By then our chef will have all the garnishes ready for your main course. This is the time to taste what you had already prepared . Get ready for one of the favorite Mexican flavors to enjoy with a hand made delicious tortilla. Then give it a try and also practice making your own Tortilla! Buen Provecho!
After lunch, our group will head for a sightseeing visit to the unexplored Yaxunah Mayan Site, this ancient City once connected Chichen Itza and Coba with its white roads made of Sacbe. Optional visit to a beautiful fresh water cenote swim.
