Overview
The temples at the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park have almost a thousand years of history, so a guided tour is a good way to learn as much as possible about the temples’ art and architecture. On this shared tour, your APSARA authorised guide takes you to the highlights of the three main temples.
What to Expect
The vehicle will leave at 5am after picking you up from your hotel in Krong Siem Reap. The pickup service visits many hotels and so you should be ready to be picked up from 4:30am to 4:55am. Obviously, any delays caused by late guests may result in guests missing the sunrise.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you require hotel pickup, then you must tell us the name of the hotel and preferably the street when you book. If guests do not inform us of the pickup location, we cannot pick you up.

Please be advised that Temples entrance tickets (passes) are NOT INCLUDED. You must buy your tickets before the tour, or else the vehicle will stop at the Angkor Enterprise ticket office on route so that guests can buy a ticket.

The first major stop of the tour is Angkor Wat temple where we wait patiently and enjoy the grandeur of the sun rising over Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, you can satisfy your breakfast cravings at a local restaurant within the Angkor Complex with some tasty Cambodian eats!

Guests can alternatively bring a packed meal or snacks. There is also an option available for a good value-for-money set 4-course breakfast at Sala Russey restaurant.

After breakfast, you will get to explore the magnificent Angkor Wat temple. As you enter the Angkor Thom complex, you will experience the fascinating beauty of Bayon, with it's rich decoration and the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces on the towers which protrude from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak.

Finally, you will visit the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb-Raider) Temple. The vehicle transports guests the short distances between the temples and will take a few hours. The temples on this tour are among the biggest in the Angkor Complex. You will be dropped off at your hotel around midday.
