Our guide was Arturo. It was unsurprisingly in Spanish. Very, very quick Spanish! But I was able to keep up. A very friendly and knowledgeable guide. And an excellent tour. Highly recommended.

You will not be disappointed with this tour. Javier is from Cáceres, has studied art and history and has a real passion for his town. The tour was done mainly in Spanish but Javier’s English is excellent and he translated the important points to several of us who were not great in Spanish. Nice guy, reasonably priced tour and we were given a real insight into Cáceres and it’s history. Thank you Javier 👏👏

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 hour walking tour of Caceres old walled city with Marco. The time went incredibly quickly as Marco was very interesting, knowledge and humorous. We would have missed so many buildings and facts without the tour. Marcos English was impeccable. The amount of languages he speaks is beyond impressive.

The way in which Marco explained the history and points of significance to us was amazing, it was obvious that he had done his homework about the group that he was leading. Would highly recommend Marco for tours.

I ejoyed several yours led by Marco. his knowledge of his subject is encyclopaedic, and he has that added ability to make the informtaion memorable and entertaining. We had booked a tour of Caceres with the amazing Marco as our guide. He has an encyclopediac knowledge of the history and sites of the place, which he delivers with humour and patience. Caceres is a well-preserved medieval old town with it's palaces, churches, wall and arches. Marco brought it all alive. If you are staying in Caceres or the surrounding area, if you can get Marco to give you a guided tour this will set you up for your holiday.

Marco is a guide who is easy to follow. He brings the spirit of places to life with a light touch and showed an excellent understanding of historical context. He engaged well with everyone in our group (we have a wide age range with special interests in Roman archaeology). He made our visits to Caceres and Merida a lot of fun and gave us good memories to take home. Highly recommended.

The tour guide makes sure to get a feel for his audience and knows exactly when to cut an explanation short and when to elaborate. If giving tours has an art, this guy has mastered it.
