Highlights
    What to Expect
Begin with a pickup from your Malta hotel (selected hotels only), and then set off by climate-controlled coach to explore the scenic archipelago.

Travel first to the fortified city of Mdina, Malta’s former capital. Explore the narrow streets and imposing bastions that offer panoramic views of the island. Learn about the area's architecture from your guide, including Siculo-Norman palaces.

Leaving Mdina through Greeks’ Gate, stop at the early Christian catacombs in Rabat before heading to the Dingli Cliffs, where you can enjoy excellent views along the coast.

Break for lunch at a traditional Maltese restaurant for a 3-course meal with a glass of wine. Eat and chat with your guide, and then travel to the San Anton Botanical Gardens for an exterior visit, located near the Presidential Palace.

Next, make for Ta Qali Crafts Village, a hamlet constructed on the site of a World War II airbase. See the Nissen huts that were once used as air-raid shelters, and head inside three of the shops and studios to see the craftspeople at work.

Finish your tour with a stop in the small town of Mosta, where you’ll visit Mosta Church, whose dome is said to be one of the largest in the world. Your tour will conclude afterward with drop-off back at your selected hotel.

Very good guide and enjoyed the visits but felt a little less time could have been spent at retail stops. This is a sightseeing tour not a shopping trip.

The guide was very good but the itinerary was unbalanced and not very good. Too much time (total nearly 2 hour out of a total of 9) was spent 'collecting' people from other hotels and 'dropping off' at the end. Nearly 2 hours was spent...More

They will pick you up from your hotel. The traffic is getting bad in Malta, so they may run late or your guide may be late. It was still a good tour with lots to see.
