- Jkoeck0 contributionsExcellent Tour of the Blues!I highly recommend Emu Trekkers! While traveling Australia, I had been looking for hiking tours that were more than just bus stops and scenic lookouts, so I was so happy to discover this guiding group! You actually hike and get to see the Blue Mountains with guides who know the area well. The guides, Keyvan and Peter, were so friendly, and fun, and catered the day to everyone's hiking capabilities. Also, the not-for-profit's mission is amazing, so happy to support their cause and have the proceeds go towards Australia UNICEF! Thank you Emu Trekkers!Written 15 February 2024

- CathBlanch0 contributionsBeautiful day in the Blue Mountains! The day in the Blue Mountains was great! We were with a nice group and our guide, Kate, was super knowledgeable and friendly. I liked that Emu Trekkers works with volunteers and for a good cause. I would strongly recommend joining them if you want to do a hike in the Blue Mountains to see the Three Sisters. My only constructive comment is that I thought the hike was a bit short (only 3h) considering that we travelled for approx. 5h to get there and back. I understand however that the tour needs to be accessible for all levels. Thanks Emu Trekkers for a beautiful day!Written 7 January 2024

- amr800 contributionsHike up The Three SistersI did this hike las Saturday with my partner. It was a very nice hike where not only you test your fitness but also meet people with very intersting stories. The group included couples, friends, solos of different age ranges and fitness which was good because everyone could follow their own pace without pressure. All the guides were really nice, we had 3 of them, one at front, another one in the middle of the group and one at the end. All of them are really good chatting, keeping you company if you are at a slow pace and showing you wildlife. They know the mountains and can spot wildlife easily. For the hike, is good that you come very well prepared with good shoes, food/snacks and water. Oh and don't forget warm but light clothes as this weekend was very windy. The hike was beautiful and green and we were able to see many waterfalls. Totally recommended!Written 9 July 2023
- 776jacquik0 contributionsLeura to 3 Sisters Trek 8.7.23Such an amazing day! Our tour guides, Brad, Sarah & Tony were lovely and did a great job. Lots of knowledge of the beautiful birds we spotted along the way. We did the trek from Leura to the 3 Sisters and return. Majority of the trek was moderate and the stairs up to the 3 sisters was difficult but the guides were so supportive of niggling injuries and respectful of needing to pace ourselves. Overall a superb day, lovely group of trekkers & transport there & back was super easy. And the views and tranquility through this amazing location was unbeatable.Written 8 July 2023
- Mageecomms0 contributionsA fun weekend in the Blue MountainsThe Emu Trekkers Six Foot Track hiking trip is awesome. Well organised yet relaxed. The overnight accommodation and food (at the Eco Lodge) were perfect for bushwalkers looking for a rustic night in the bush. We ended the second day with a visit to the Dryridge Winery for lunch and wine tasting. Thank you for such a great experience, I highly recommend it.Written 19 December 2022
- Me F0 contributionsAmazing experience!!We had an amazing time doing the 6 foot track with the emu trekkers!! Really well organised, fantastic guides, great food, comfortable accommodation. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!!Written 24 July 2022
- 628linday0 contributionsSix Foot Track hike - thoroughly recommend it!The Six Foot Track hike was a great experience. It was a quite steep & challenging downhill trail in the beginning, but the scenery was spectacular and it leveled out to be amongst undulating forest and creek crossings. The guides were great and the food and accommodation was just right. What a fantastic showcase of the best of Australian bush experiences. Raising money for a good cause, UNICEF was an added bonus. Well done guys!Written 5 December 2021

What a great hike! Only a stones throw from sydney CBD. With an easy train ride away from Sydney we disembarked in the midst of the Royal National Park. After following the rugged coast for 10km we got the chance to walk beneath the canopy, grassy plains and lunch on the beach. Our guides Sandra and Tad were fantastic and provided us with information on the cabin communities and the 'widow maker' eucalyptus.
We got to cool off in the ocean at Garie beach so don't forget your swimmers!

What a great way to see Sydney’s beautiful bush land and natural wonders! The Royal National Park walk takes you through different kinds of vegetation before ending up at the lovely Garie Beach, giving all visitors a glimpse into the diverse range of plant and animal life that Sydney boasts. The guides are great, and are very familiar with the area, meaning that you get the best experience possible! I would highly recommend using Emu Trekkers to anyone interested in exploring Sydney and contributing to a great cause!
