We rented four mountain bikes from River Tribe to use on a two week bike ride through the Calabria Region called Ciclovia Parchi Calabria. The staff at River Tribe was excellent and worked with us to make our trip a wonderful time. They purchased racks and helmets for our use and we never had any problems with the bikes, not even a flat tire.

That was really unique experience of River walk, I’ve never did something like that before. It is so meditative and joyful at the same time. thank you very much, Antonio, for attention to each and every of us. And trust exercise became unforgettable memory for our team. Rafting was safe and funny. This experience was a stunning piece of our Yoga Retreat. Highly recommend.

We had a river walking and rafting fun trip with Antonio, Veronica and Pelado in June which was extremely interesting. Lots of joy, curiosity and warm vibes from the team and obviously picturesque views of the Lao River have made this experience memorable. The Trive base is also very attractive, with a swimming pool, hammocks and a camping space. We were welcomed and treated with kindness, attention and generosity - highly recommended!

Lara at River Tribe crafted the perfect weekend for our family. We arrived in the afternoon to try a new activity for us - river tubing. After we were outfitted with wetsuits and helmets, we carried our tubes and paddles down the trail to the start. This stretch of the river provided the right balance of relaxing floats and little rapids for us. There was even a deep area at the end for the kids to jump off the platform. Lara then booked us for dinner/lodging/breakfast at Agriturismo U’Curagiussu. The wonderful dinner and wine were sourced from their farm. Absolutely worth the 30 minute drive in the mountains. The next morning we were mountain biking. The trail wound through the forest and roads of the valley. Our guide, Antonio, provided information on history and culture along the way. He also was quick to provide first aid when my son had a spill. Thank you to all the staff who made it a wonderful experience.

I actually was a customer of River Tribe in July but completely forgot to write a review! Until now, when I was daydreaming about that excursion. My boyfriend and I did the stand-up paddle board (SUP) on the Lao and absolutely loved it. We felt that it was very professional and safe, and a very special way to experience Pollino. Everyone there is really kind and great to speak with, it's not only a business, but a community! We can't wait to go back.

We did both rafting expeditio (incl. wilde camping) and canyoning. Both experiences where absolutely fantastic. Adventures but you feel save with all instructors. We absolutely recommend River Tribe!

Booked this randomly on arrival in the area. The activity was very well organised, the staff very professional and most importantly made the whole experience enjoyable and welcoming. Would highly recommend them. Kids loved the river walking and the “drops” on the raft.

I m just coming from different part of the world and i m so happy be back in my country , my beautiful Italy. I felt so lucky to have great experience in kayak and spending a relax day along Lao River . I m so proud we have something like that in italy . Really nice people and good hospitality . The excursion is perfect for everyone especially who love the nature and water . I’ll be back soon !

Amazing first experience of rafting. The local area and canyon are stunning, and the staff here couldn’t be more welcoming. We felt thoroughly looked after the whole time, and can’t stress enough how happy we are we used River Tribe!
